Nothing but great things to say about Furniture Avenue! I bought my very first couch here recently. I did some online browsing before coming into the store to see what they have; they have a plethora of options at such affordable prices. They didn't have as much in store as they did online but you're able to place your order online at the store. There's also a large downstairs with additional furniture like beds, couches, coffee tables, etc. We found easy parking right in front of the store, as well. We were helped by Daisy who was very personable and helpful. After finding a couch, we sat down together and she went through the pricing with taxes and delivery. Everything was very upfront and she made the process quick and seamless. Our bed was delivered to our second floor apartment (they called me prior to arrange a time) literally two days later! The 2 gentlemen were nice and made carrying a couch look very easy! We've been obsessed with our new couch ever since. update: it has now been a WHOLE extra week on top of the TWO MONTHS that I've already waited and im still waiting for my couch that had now be taken back because it was too big to fit (something they were supposed to have told me about.) not to mention them blaming covid-19 for this whole delay when I've gone to other furniture stores and received my furniture promptly. these people are liars and con artists. I will NEVER SPEND MY MONEY HERE again. sidenote: they have NO CONCERN about getting my furniture to me, they just keep pretending like they do. horrible service. read more

This is the second time I have bought furniture from here. Their prices are fantastic and the sales people are great. Buying furniture in the middle of a pandemic, I knew there was going to be a delay due to there being shortages of stock. The salesman I dealt with, Angel, was great at explaining the process and gave me a realistic timeline of when I would receive my furniture. He was excellent to work with and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. The furniture has arrived and it is excellent quality. I cannot express enough how patient and accommodating this company is !!my 88-year-old mother came here to have a chair special made, not it Furniture Avenue's fault in anyway shape or form, it was not the right fit for her. They had no problems finding the right chair for her needs. I will never buy anything from this place again!!!! Waited over two months just to get something that they advised would be here in a month time span. The employees never advised me of the size of the furniture and if there was a discrepancy with getting my furniture in the door what I would have to pay to cut the furniture so it could fit. More money to be paid even after pay upfront and waiting so very long for the furniture to get to my home. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Please don't waste your time!!!!! What I say about this furniture place I just purchased furniture set that cost $2,000 a little more and you have to be careful with them if your furniture doesn't fit in your home or in your apartment they're going to try and they will charge you$150 to disassemble and then reassemble it that $150 I felt was too much for someone to do that especially when I just put $200 in their hand the same day of delivery and $55 in their hand to do the financing so I did go to the store and spoke with Angel which he just kept saying the same thing that I had to pay that and that's what they charge that they usually charge 250 but like I was getting a discount whatever, but he did go in the back and a woman came out and she said she understood very nice lady I didn't get her name but she said $75 would do it and they will pay the other 75 so I was okay with that and also note that on the contract read carefully you can't exchange anything and if something doesn't fitand u decide u don't want it they will charge you a restock fee of $260 or 30% they were going to charge me but anyway otherwise so far everything else is okay just be aware. read more

Bought 8k$ worth of furniture...they price things great and they are very aggressive to win u as a customer. Angel the sales man is very knowledgable and is great at what he does. The only reason I give this place a 4 star instead of a 5 they have some issues with delivery. My delivery for my couch was once pushed back a week and I got a loaner for the dining table bc they did not have it in stock. read more

They took an order from us when we went in and the salesman (Joe) was pleasant. We ordered Flexsteel furniture and after reading bad reviews for Flexsteel, I wanted to cancel the order. They told me there was a 25% cancellation fee of almost $1200, which was a week after we ordered the Flexsteel furniture. So, we instead ordered other furniture whisk her was just over 1/2 the price of the original order. Joe wrote on the contract that we could cancel the order without a 25% fee if they didn't deliver in 16-20 weeks. On the day of the end of 20 weeks I went to the store to cancel the order, as they had not called us or notified us of delivery. That was a Saturday, and I was told thee Office Manager has to issue the refund and would be in on Monday. I called Monday, and after a few calls, I was told that they had the furniture in stock and they were going to charge me the cancellation fee. I said " they didn't live up to the terms of the contract by delivering within 20 weeks." They still refused and are going to charge me the 25%. I have bought my formal dining room set, daughter's bedroom set, and sofas for my basement from Furniture Ave. Mike (the owner) and his team provide amazing customer service and always goes above and beyond. It takes me about 6 months to do my research with Mike's help and he's so patience with me. I never feel pressured by him and I love how he provides so much insight. On top of it, he carries so many different vendors and he has vast variety of selections from affordable to high end. Sky is the limit in terms of options. Over the last 6 years, we bought all our furnitures from this store, such as bedroom set with mattress, 2 dining sets, 2 living room couches, and coffee tables. The previous owners were always kept their words, delivered on time, and gave us very good deals. However, this last time we wanted to buy a dinette set, I guess they have changed ownership, and this lady Silvia gave us really hard time on getting what we needed with a bad attitude. The deal was not great at all, not even reasonable, but after finally we agreed on something, the delivery did not come on the date she said it would. She didnt even bother calling us to let us know the delivery date have changed, so we could at least reschedule our own plans AGAIN so we can be home around that time, and plus she did not even apologize. We even have sent 2 family friends there before and they have bought all their furnitures, too. We have always highly recommended this place to everyone that we know before, but now this could be the last purchase we will ever make as long as Silvia works there, losing many customers and profits to this company. read more

False promises of delivery dates, was given the run-around for 3 months extra after a nice amount of down payment. One of the items which was a sectional came with scratches, smudges and a rip. A leather repair man sent by furniture avenue was unable to fix it and recommended I get my money back or a replaced sofa. Owner Mike was rude and surprisingly yelled at me over the phone because I refused to pay remaining balance until they sent all of my items as ordered (i.e. I was offered a dining table without the chairs, another sofa without the pillows, everything was pending and waiting!) and/or gave me a refund/exchange for the damaged sofa. Everything was going well until I didn't get what I paid for/was promised :( All the owner had to do was be honest with me and tell me I could possibly be waiting for much longer than I expected instead of promising me week after week that I would get my items "next week" or they're waiting to be shipped from New Jersey, China, New York, etc...a small business with so much potential...CUSTOMER SERVICE and ATTITUDE is everything in a business, I hope they'll learn that lesson sooner than later. read more
