hello people! after the purchase, I was very dissatisfied. the furniture in the store is illuminated, at home it is a completely different color. the manager of the store, answered that it will happen through week. what kind of nonsense can you call the modern world! they ignored us and waved their hands that nothing could be done. Delivery for 3 miles costs $200, they rip people off to the bone. I want to cry because $3000 for a sofa is not enough! I do not recommend to anyone! in this store, they think only to sell, not to make people happy..... I will never go to this store again. because there was a request not to return it, but to exchange it for a lighter color, on the day of delivery, since it was new to exchange it immediately. The main thing for the store is to sell, and not the main thing is that the customer is satisfied. When we bought it, we were told that it was new, and a week later that it was the last sofa. Such a hidden gem! I wish I knew this store 2 years ago before I purchase complete new furnitures for my home. I love all the pieces in their showroom. My friend recommended that I should check out this store before we buy bar stools and me and my husband visited this store last week and I absolutely love the design and style of everything. We bought the MIA sleeper sofa. This is a mixed review, it really depends on what is important for you personally: Pros: 1) Nice, professional, helpful customer service. 2) They sent us quite a number of fabric samples to see the colors and feel the fabric. 3) We love the comfort of the couch. We were looking for a very firm couch as the standard "sink-ins" kill our backs. 4) The quality is also price appropriate. Yes, the legs are plastic and it is not a high-end quality piece (which costs easily triple the price) but the quality and final look are really nice for the price. Cons: 1) You will pay the sofa in full beforehand (which is expected). Then it will be delivered to the sidewalk in front of your house. At the moment of delivery you will sign that you received it. With this signature you also confirm that the piece is undamaged. When the lady on the phone explained the process I questioned how this should work since carrying inside the house and unwrapping will take too much time for a delivery driver to wait for. And how else should we know whether it is undamaged? She explained if anything is wrong we should immediately contact her when we unwrap it and make pictures. We hoped for the best and ordered... Truck driver comes, drops off the couch, impatiently tells us how many more orders he has this day while we try our best to "inspect" a wrapped couch on the sidewalk - it looked good so far. Carried it inside and saw quite some damage on the bottom which we could not access or see during our "quick inspection". We immediately made pictures and called the same day but were informed that they have to contact the delivery company and that this process usually takes a very long time (~3 months) to settle. We called and reminded them every few weeks. After 6 months we received following email: "I am very sorry for the late reply - We have finally heard back from Shipping Company. Unfortunately our claim has not been accepted by the Carrier because damage has not been reported at the time of delivery. Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with. Best regards, Agata." Tip: We really love the sofa. If you chose to go with Eqsalon then get a written confirmation from their shipping company (prior to payments) that the delivery driver is expected to wait till you moved the sofa to its final destination, unwrapped, inspected, and signed it. read more

We just had the Nicola XL sofa delivered via dolly to our condo. We liked it because it had storage and looked modern. Unfortunately, the sofa is so uncomfortable, you can't bear to sit on it long enough to watch a movie. And it took my boyfriend and I both to open the storage or pull out the sleeper part when it looked so easy on the display model in the show room. Called to ask about return policies but they said once it's unwrapped, no return available. That doesn't make sense to me because how could you know the standard of the couch until it's unpackaged?! I understand they're a small European shop, but there should be some opportunity available for consumers to return when the couch is still in the exact condition it was when received, but the quality subpar compared to show room. We called the very next day it was delivered to ask about returning it, but no luck. They said if it was still wrapped they accept a return with a 45% restocking fee. Sounds very risky if I had asked when purchasing, I probably wouldn't have gone through with it. Also, the feet of the couch are plastic and they provide extras in case they break (i.e. cheap). The stitching isn't exactly even and the lining on the bottom of the couch is stapled in with the staples visible. We paid a few thousand for this couch and it turned out be very disappointing. Giving it a star because the ladies at the store are very helpful and friendly, otherwise the Nicola sectional is not worth it. Lessons learned when buying locally versus bigger business where consumers are often protected with free delivery and reasonable return policies. read more

The ladies that work here are very helpful and professional. The showroom looks nice and overall experience is pleasant. The furniture has been crafted with care and i have place a two thumbs up. Only thing I recommend is to move the entrance to parking lot side. Not a biggie. read more

Everything was just ok, until we delivered the sectional home(had to rent pickup truck to deliver it to home since EQ Salon charges $150 for delivery), unwrapped it and saw it wasn't the color we actually ordered! I bought three pieces from them- 2 dressers and a nightstand. One dresser and the nightstand were fine to put together, but the second dresser was AWFUL. Didn't have enough assembly pieces and when we went to put the top on, the wood peg punched through the dresser top!!! No wonder this place is so cheap. When we contacted them about it, they said (exactly) "I think you wrong assembled it. Nobody has problem like you sorry". What kind of customer service is this?! GARBAGE COMPANY/SERVICE. Great place! Good looking, modern furniture in affordable prices. Really good costumer service! I and my husband recently bought from them pair of nightstands and my husband accidentally dropped one while loading them from car and did crack on one of drawers.. we did called them if they have replacing parts which we can buy because it was obviously our fault. My husband came and they gave to us another nightstand without any additional charges! Very professional and super friendly stuff. Highly recommended!! read more
