To my surprise, I have hit gold with this store. Driving by, I would not have noticed this store, however luckily I was stuck in traffic and noticed it. I have been to numerous stores searching for the furniture that fits my style, needs, and budget. It has been extremely difficult because I was not able to part with the furniture that I currently have. Entering the store, I was amazing to what contemporary and modern pieces that they have. The selection is endless. Not only do they have a huge selection on floor, I was able to view numerous catalogs just in case too. I would have never guessed that this store would have all my needs. The employees were well educated on the quality and their merchandise. Needless to say, I had THE BEST shopping experience. I ordered a whole new bedroom set and couch set and it was delivered within a week. Even the delivery guys were kind and patient with the layout of my home. After the delivery I received a courtesy call the following day to follow up with me. Not many stores take interest in their customers like that and I was pleasantly pleased. Since the delivery, I have purchased numerous wall sculptures and accessories as well. I RECOMMEND this store!!!! read more

I must admit I'm a bit surprised by some of these positive 5 star reviews. I had absolutely the same experience as the 1 star previously given. I came here to look for a new bedroom set, mostly bed frame but option for full set if I saw something I liked. The owner approached us immediately prejudging what type of customer we were and brought up "price" right away without us even mentioning anything. I even told him that price was not a concern, I wanted to find something I liked first. Besides showing me his only 2 style of bedrooms he had upstairs, he brought out a catalog and proceeded to show me styles that have nothing to do with what I was asking for. He then told me " I didn't know what I wanted" and that I should "get someone to buy me my bedroom as a gift so I don't have to do anything" WTF? He really does come from the old world school of sales tactics that may work on some, but I will not be back. The showroom has very modern type furniture, more European style, but some a bit outdated. I didn't even get as far as checking prices because I was so taken back by the owners attitude. I came in to buy some dining room chairs and was impressed by both the selection and the personal attention I received by the owner of the store. He worked with me to both find something elegant, comfortable, good quality and within my budget. The salesperson/owner was one of the most disrespectful and condescending people I have ever encountered in a retail store. I was with a client and he not only didn't seem to care what I had to say, he didn't pay much attention to my client's wife. We don't live in the old world anymore. WOW! and that's not a good WOW! I was sent to this furniture store by a few people I know and BIGGEST MISTAKE YET. Besides the owner being rude to us the entire time when we came in already knowing what bedroom set we wanted to order, the quality of the furniture delivered to us was awful. We had gone ahead and ordered due to fair pricing on the 5 piece bedroom set. However, upon delivery the 2 men bringing the furniture had a bad attitude. First of all they were an hour late, and we had sat waiting for them. When calling the owner he said he did not know where they were and that they hopefully were on the way. Once they arrived they acted like they were doing us a huge favor carrying in the items without even a lifting belt and almost scratching our freshly painted walls going up the stairs. Then they took 3 hours to assemble it like it was their first time, grunting, and complaining the whole time while we patiently waited. When I pointed out that the headboard of our bed had discoloration and that the dresser had a large nick where the glossy paint was chipped off, they started yelling at me??!!! We called the owner and he did not seem concerned. We took pictures of the scratches and discoloration, super frustrating because this furniture was NOT CHEAP nor was it on sale. The next day when we came to clean our new house, we haven't even moved in yet, we noticed more glue and scuffs on the end tables. Either the manufacturer made this furniture defected, or the delivery men made more scratches while in route to us. We will see if the owner will allow us to exchange it because the quality of this new furniture is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHEAP CRAP THAT THEY TRY TO SELL YOU IN THEIR CATALOGS! read more

Here we go again.. I find myself in a new apartment, new dimensions, and a new style.. All that means is that I need new furniture. If you are like me, I've shopped around numerous places and loved items from here and there and everywhere. But I hate ordering from different places and arranging different delivery times. This store went above and beyond locating all the items that I liked from everywhere and beating the quoted prices that I received from the other stores. The selection does not stop with just their floor items. I looked through at least 15 catalogs to find exactly what I was looking for. ( I am just a picky person) Zev, the owner, was helping me, he was very patient and honest while working with me. I was very nervous about ordering from a catalog and he helped explain the material and quality of all the products that caught my eye. Some items that I found he stopped me from ordering because he knew the quality was not good. I appreciated his honesty and that he wasn't just going for the sale! I ordered a couch in a different color than he had on the floor as well. Never did I feel rushed, pushed, or convinced to settle. Customer service was great! Will definitely return if I need additional furniture or accessories! The delivery came between the scheduled time frame and the delivery men were cautious with my walls, corners, doors, and they were very clean during clean up. They did not take long to set up either. I explained to them what I was looking for and my price range, and they were very helpful. They helped furnish my whole apartment, and the furniture is great quality! Rude! Ridiculously rude. If you want to be insulted, come visit the store. We were shown a furniture set that was quite overpriced for the quality. We asked to see another less expensive one. The salesman's response was something along the lines of "what, you want something made in China?!". He then proceeded to insult us by suggesting my husband earns the money by running a few deliveries for him. He then proceeded to tell s that we should not even be buying furniture in our financial situation. What?!!! Does he even know what our financial situation is?! We just turned around and walked out. I came in to this furniture store based on the good and great yelp reviews I have been reading on here with my family. I met the owner of the store and he was a really funny, sincere, and helpful man. He showed us different types of bedroom and living room furniture. I am not going to lie, we have been to a handful of stores before this one. We fell in love with a living room set from a different store and I showed the owner a picture of it. Not only did the owner cut the competitors price by a lot ( for the same set) he said, and did deliver the items the following week. The delivery was smooth and professional. The delivery men were very respectful and neat! Which is important to me. I can say first hand that my family and I are very pleased with the new bedroom set and living room set that we purchased from Arte. AWFUL STORE, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING HERE! We just bought a house and were very excited to receive our new bedroom furniture. EVERY piece out of a 5 piece set of dark expresso glossy furniture has WHITE MARKS everywhere. Our room has a huge window and is bright and as soon as the furniture was delivered and assembled you can see scratches where the top coat is removed, scuffs, and it DOES NOT LOOK LIKE BRAND NEW FURNITURE. LOOKS WORSE THAN CHEAP GARAGE SALE FURNITURE!!! On top of that at the bottom of each piece the veneer dark brown finish is peeling and flaking off and we are finding it on the carpet. WE JUST RECEIVED THIS A WEEK AGO, IT SHOULD BE NEW! CHEAP CRAP THAT I DOUBT WILL EVEN LAST A YEAR!!! DO NOT BUY HERE!!! I can provide pictures of the damage if anyone is interested! read more
