We purchased our first leather sectional couch and matching recliner made by Cooper on 5/25/2024. We also purchased a five-year warranty on the pieces with Montage. The recliner froze in the full recline position on about June 1, 2025, six days after the one-year warranty ran out. Montage could not identify the problem for sure after two trips to our home. Montage offered us a check for $232.57 in lieu of repairs. Something I've never heard of. The Manager of Furniture Fair informed me that if Montage had repaired the recliner, it would have voided the reminder of my Five-year coverage. The manager of Funiture Fair covered that repair for us as a courtesy, which I appreciate very much. It took several months to get the parts, but I was repaired. However, just a few months later, the seat in the same recliner of the couch completely collapsed making it very uncomfortable. I called Montage, with the five-year warranty, and they said they do not cover cushions. I feel like I have a recliner built on a Friday the thirteenth near quitting time. I checked with Furniture Fair and was given an estimate of $75 plus parts to repair and the number of a couple other furniture places to call. I really was hoping for better product support. I realize it is out of the factory warranty and denied by the Five-year warranty I paid for, but now I think is see why they don't appear to carry that line of furniture anymore. I need to use a folded up towel and an office chair seat cushion for comfort. I'm very disappointed with the whole experience. The recliner is extremely uncomfortable after my Spinal Fusion surgeries. It sucks to buy what appears to be what we used to call a lemon. I love all the other furniture we bought from Furniture Fair, but I think we'll shop elsewhere i the future. I bought an expensive mattress 7 days ago. It's lumpy and terrible quality so I went in the store to request an exchange. I was told I would have to wait 30 days before they would allow an exchange and it would have to be same price or higher or I would lose the difference. They were rude and non caring. They seemed happy to tell me there was nothing they could do to give me a mattress I could actually sleep on. After more than a year of searching for and researching custom wood kitchen tables, my wife and I purchased a very nice wood kitchen table and chairs from Furniture Fair. Table and chairs are beautiful, but several salespeople misled us during the buying process us by telling us that the coating that was put on the table would prevent scratching and that a plate being scooted across the table would not scratch it, but those things were not true. Within a month of having the table, the table top was scratched. We contacted the store and spoke with the store manager and nothing was done to help us resolve the issue. We were told that if we wanted to get it fixed, we would have to pay for shipping as well as the repair. Another family member purchased a similar kitchen table from this same store and was told the same thing about the coating being able to protect from scratching and their table scratched as well If anyone is thinking of buying one of these tables, please know that it will either get scratched very quickly or you will have to cover this very nice table in order to keep it from getting scratched. read more

They are same brand and maker etc. The process to get this returned and try something else is horrible. Then you have to buy one of same amount or more. I recently brought a Tempur-Pedic mattress from Furniture Fair instead of dealing with Tempur-Pedic directly thinking I was doing a good deed. (Buy Local) Unfortunately, the mattress I chose is not working out for me and I wanted to take it back before the 90 day trail was up. And now Furniture Fair wants me to pay over $500.00 to return the mattress compared $175.00 if I brought the mattress directly for Tempur-Pedic. It is my fault that I did not read the fine print in regards to returning a mattress. My lesson is learned. What's on my mind? Crappy couch from #FurnitureFair ! Thanks for selling me a crappie couch that is made out of even crappier fabric that started balling up within weeks of purchasing it. Was told I cannot return it, nor get a refund! Was told they would send a tech out on September 1, 2023 to look at it. I stayed home and lost $200.00 not working that day! Was supposed to be at my apartment by 12:00 and got a call he wouldn't be here, he would be here in one week. Next week no call and no show! I missed another $200.00 work ! The following week I get a tag on my door from furniture fair saying sorry we missed you! Ya, I guess you did! I clean homes for a living and waited 12 years to buy a couch! I work very hard for what I have and do not live in $1 million home! I live in a one bedroom apartment in which I take a lot of pride in the fact that I work very hard to maintain everything I have! I purchased a sectional from Furniture Fair on October 5, 2024. Upon delivery/arrival to my home the technician advised that one of the cushions had been damaged in transit, but assured me that this would be repair replaced. For months the company gave me the run around and continually cancelled my appointments stating each time that the technicians were "in the hospital ". On Jan 3rd (today) someone was to come to my home to replace the damaged cushion case, howe, once again, they cancelled my appointment advising that the technicians had been hospitalized. My reply was this is unacceptable. after going around and around with the representative and being adamant that someone come to my home today to fix this issue that has been ongoing for months, the representative finally said, "You are more than welcome to drive out to our factory and pick it up yourself!"....wow...really!! So I jumped in my vehicle and drove 45 mins to their warehouse and picked up a new cushion. why they were not able to bring it to my home is a mystery to me and this is not how patrons should be treated. I am so very disappointed that this company played with me for months and refused to make right what they did wrong. I didn't damage the seat cushion, they did and then made me wait 3 months to replace it and made me drive 45 minutes out of my day to have it corrected....and yes, I purchased a warranty. read more

The service I received after the sale was amazing! With everything going on in the world right now and I'm a medical supplier, I could not get to the store to pay for the pick up of my old living room set. I called in to the store for some help with the payment arrangement. I spoke to Roger and he was amazing not only helping me with my concern, but he checked on it later in the day and called me to ensure I was able to complete my end! I will never buy furniture from Furniture Fair again. We bought 2 matching recliners for $700 each back in June 2022. They were "Clearance" items but that is not why we bought them. We had one of the same brand for 20 years and it has held up great. We sought out this brand and they had ones we liked. One was in stock at the store we went to and the other came from another location. The one that came from elsewhere was defective and I believe they were aware of this when they brought it. Since they were clearance items, they sold us a warranty for one year. A couple days after we had them, the one was making horrible noises when rocked or merely sat in. Called FF and they did send a tech to look at it. After he drug the chair around and scratched the hell out of my laminate floor, he finds a cracked board on the base. He ordered a base and came to install. Still didn't fix issue. Then they took the chair back to the shop where I think it just sat for a week and brought it back. Same issues. I called the warranty company and after jumping through hoops sending pics of chair, receipts etc, they decide its a "non covered issue"! WTF? So, LONG story short, I'm out $700 for the recliner, and another $100 for a useless warranty! DO NOT BUY any clearance items from Furniture Fair. In fact I won't be buying ANYTHING from them again. I purchased $3500 worth of furniture from the Fairfield Location. One of the pieces was unfortunately NOT covered under the warranty even though it was a brand new recliner. After less than 3 months there is a 2 inch gap between the back and the seat. This recliner was $1,000. I do NOT recommend buying anything that has been discontinued or discounted from this store, you will be stuck with a total piece of crap should something go wrong. I will be going somewhere else from now on to replace the cheaply made recliner they took me for $1,000 for. January of 20 it's just completely broken down in the middle and the reclining mechanisms are grinding barely working. Lucky is we bought the service plan good for 5 years. Well we turned the claim into them in mid February and we're still waiting. Tech came out could have fixed part of the issue so we could have used the couch but wouldn't because he wasn't allowed to do a partial repair. Ok. Wait for parts. Get some parts. Not all the parts. Noooo not yet too easy. So we've had two large boxes in our living roo. For months waiting. Now told the rest won't be here until February No deal!! I purchased my furniture over a month ago. Was just told that one of my pieces of furniture wont be here for almost another month. I understand what is going on in the world right now but maybe a little bit of honesty would help the situation. Tell people your furniture is going to take a while to get delivered. Its pretty simple. Two pieces of my bedroom furniture are scratched so i called to see if they could be returned. They stated that a technician would come out to take a look. I was told it would be on Wednesday and would get a call Tuesday after 7 p.m. No call has happened so now my day is ruined because they cant get it together. There has been no offer of even an apology to make things right at this point. Taking my business elsewhere from now on that actually cares about their customers. Came into this location late last month. found a couch we wanted and the gentleman that helped us (Kevin) assisted us with our purchase. when we were there he told you the earliest we would get our couch would be June 17th but he may be able to get it for us by the 8th if they get more trucks running. we said that would be awesome. he even said he would call us in the next week to let us know if it would ship to us on the 8th. on the 6th we never heard from him so we decided to call him. a lady answered and said he was busy that we could leave him a voicemail. So we did and we never heard back. we tried again on the 9th and again he was busy and we were told to leave him a message.. with no surprise... he never called us back. so we figured well he said it would be the 17th of June so will just have to wait it out. Today (June 16th.. never heard from anyone about a time they would be arriving tomorrow. so we call again. we ask for Kevin.. the lady puts us on hold and comes back and says.. "Kevin is busy would you like to leave him a message?" Lmao we said no.. we just want to know what time to expect our couch tomorrow. the lady says "it says here you aren't getting it until the 1st of July"... I laugh and say no we've had it set for the 17th.. why didn't anyone call us? she said "she doesn't have a clue why no one gave us a call" so frustrated we just relaxed and said fine. whatever. but after calling around I found the same sofa and they can get it to us as early as Friday (19th). so we called Furniture Fair back to cancel our order just for the gentleman to tell us that they don't even know when or if they will be getting that couch back in stock lmao! I've been shopping with FF for years and things were good but after this I'm so done with this company. Be careful on what you are told vs the truth. We were told there were lifetime warranties on fabric on 2 sofas we purchased. Now after a little over one year the fabric started pilling and getting thread bear... Now they are saying its only a one year warranty and it will cost to have them repaired... I'm not saying they lied, but you can draw your on conclusion. I will now be buying new sofas from someone else. They loose a customer and additional sales... So disappointed with this store. We've purchased several pieces of furniture over the last few years, but this will be our last. Purchased furniture in July, was told we would most likely get it in September but because of the pandemic it might be Oct. We agreed as long as it would DEFINITELY be here by Oct. September 24th we paid the remaining balance, in store, (almost 2k) thinking we would have our furniture soon. The very next day we get an email saying it was pushed back until the end of November. So you wait until you have all our money and then email us instead of telling us while we were standing there. (And our salesman was present and had our account pulled up to pay the balance) so don't tell me they didn't know. I would have canceled our order right then and I tried via your customer service after receiving that email and was told I would have to go back to the store to do that. You've had sales with free delivery and other discounts before and after we ordered our furniture, the least you could have done is offer free delivery for it taking months longer (now the end of NOV and still no idea when it will be here.) but your customer service offered nothing. We will never shop at Furniture Fair again. While I understand you aren't the ones making the furniture, you are the face of it, you are the ones that took $2300 out of our account. Noone from your company has reached out to apologize, update us, NOTHING. I have contacted customer service twice I got one response that basically said we can't do anything if you want to cancel your order go to the store. I reached out via Facebook and got a joke of response and was told a manager would contact me and surprise surprise a week later STILL NOTHING! I went to the store and picked out a closeout demo. we went all over the sofa. no scratches and everything worked. When the delivery guys set it up it still worked ..... for less than an hour. I immediately called the store who sent out a tech 4 weeks later. he said it needed a switch and he would order it. a week later the store calls me wanting a credit card. If you look closely at the receipt it says "as is". first of all that was not on the sales card that said closeout demo. secondly, I guess as is means we will sneak our broken crap to you. Being that it was the only sofa worth the price in the store I paid it. my new sofa is now two months old and still broken. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

He didn't even offer the synchrony credit card which I have with two different stores. That is why I went to furniture fair to get the card. I watched my order very closely it updated on the 15th to show it was in the warehouse then I got a call to confirm my delivery for December 17th. 20 minutes later I'm at the store to buy more merchandise and was told THE SOFA AND RECLINER DIDN'T COME IN !! AND IT WASN'T COMING IN UNTIL FEBRUARY!!! So after emailing and making phone calls for the next 24 hours they found a sofa and recliner to fill my order. NOW I want to be compensated for what they put me through and was promised when I was originally in the store shopping for furniture. I just spent the first night in my new bed and it was the first time in a long time that I had such a restful nights sleep. And I got up and I wasn't sore. And it was all thanks to Furniture Fair, David Tucker, and their fantastic delivery teams. This is actually a guest bed but I wanted to test it. I may need to sleep in it every night. David Tucker showed me the beds and actually showed me what I wanted instead of having my lay on every bed in the place. It only took about 15 minutes to purchase a bed here after spending no less than 30 minutes ate other stores and not finding a bed that I liked that was in my price range. Delivery was fantastic. I also chose to gave them take the old bed. I received a text from Furniture Fair the night before delivery telling me when the 2 hour delivery window was. That morning the pickup drivers called to let me know when they were on their way. When they were picking it up, the let me know that the delivery guys would be here in about 30 minutes. And that was accurate. The next time that I need furniture, I will skip all the shopping and go straight to Furniture Fair. read more
