Furniture Masters saved our Thanksgiving! I called Furniture Masters just before noon on Friday, the weekend before Thanksgiving and left a message. Mike promptly returned my call a few minutes later. Upon explaining the problem with our power reclining couch Mike told me his rates (very reasonable) and we setup a same-day appointment. We were very fortunate since he was finishing a job in Newport Beach and we are in North OC. Not only did Mike arrive on-time, he called about 30 min. before the appointment to let me know he was en-route and updated his ETA. Upon arrival, Mike thoroughly inspected the power reclining couch. He was able to quickly diagnose the electrical problem, and make the necessary repairs. He even inspected the matching power reclining loveseat to make sure there no similar problems about to happen. My Lazy Boy Recliner seat cushion was in desperate need of replacement. Mike responded to my request for a quote by asking for a picture. Unlike other companies that responded with a $50 fee to come look at my recliner, he relied on the picture to give me a price for repair not an "estimate ". This is an update to our original experience. We noticed that our two power recliners didn't extend their footrests to quite the same horizontal position as they had before Mike Dual's repair visit. I called him to ask about a 2nd run at making sure they were set the best they could be. He came by just a few days later and spent at least three hours between them both. He got them much closer to the original positioning that we preferred. As he packed up to go, I tried to pay him for his additional time. He refused the payment claiming it was a readjustment based on the first job which was already covered. That's called ETHICS and honest work. Mike is very puntual and he does a great job on his service. We have a recliner that is about 5 years old and due to ware and tare the cushions gave out and every-time we sat on them it hurt.
