I visited 4 different furniture stores while shopping for a new living room sofa/couch. I was looking for a brown leather comfortable long couch, Crate & Barrel style, but for a lower price. I found two good options at Sofa Mart in Furniture Row with the help of a super friendly, not pushy sales associate named Pip. I liked two models- The Telluride and Durango, but settled on the Durango. Because I had come in the store so many times to hem n' haw, Pip knew me and my son and my husband by name. Pip was able to answer all of my questions about durability, fabric type, cleaning, etc. I just genuinely like Pip, which is not something I typically say after meeting a sales associate. We decided to go with the Durango; I have had it for 3 weeks and am loving the looks of it. The reason for minus one star is I went in this week to purchase the ottoman to go with the set and it is back-ordered until early to mid March. I worked with a different lady and she just kept telling me it is coming from Mississippi and that is the reason for the delay. It was disappointing I couldn't take the store sample or get it sooner. Final note, the financing is easy and fast if you want to go that route. It's 4 years no interest, but you can pay it off at any rate you want. read more

Due to the Covid pandemic, I was working on a very limited and tight schedule. I'd never been to furniture row but I ended up purchasing from their dining, bedroom, and mattress departments. I worked with Jim in dining and bedroom and Louis and Sammy in mattresses. Was thrilled with their friendliness, helpfulness, and the abiltiy to get everything delivered within a couple of days. When we ask for a refund for some delivery issues on their part, he fist act as if he didn't care about our problem, then he called us liars about what we were telling the manager, and actually the liars was him. Almost positive I was lied to about having the item in local inventory so that they could make the sale. I was told I could pick up the piece on Monday. I call before I go to find out "They forgot to put it on the truck from the warehouse". No problem. They ensure me it would be here Tuesday afternoon for pickup. Again, I call before pickup Tuesday afternoon. "Oh I guess they forgot to put it on the truck again" as he laughs on the phone. "It will be here on Friday for sure". You should have just told me Friday from the beginning instead of lying to make a sale. Why is the customer having to call to confirm that the item has arrived for pickup? Whoa. Maybe Furniture Row has gotten a whole new team of salespeople over the past few years because when Sir Nicholas and I stopped by here on a whim recently we had such awesome interactions with the guys working here that they alone compelled me to write this review. Basically, I've been looking for some semi-nice wingback chairs for my living room that is very vintage-y and I don't really want to take the time to reupholster old ones and I don't really want to spend $1000+ dollars on new ones from higher end furniture stores so when we were headed to Ikea to check out their selection we saw Furniture Row and decided to stop in to check it out. I ended up finding 4 different chairs that I really loved that ranged in price from $150 - $600. As with anything I'm sure you get the quality you pay for, but what pushed this experience over the top for me was the salesman (Daniel) that helped us. He approached us initially as we were browsing and when we said we were fine he left right away. After we did have some questions he came right over, answered them, and when he could tell we wanted to mull over the options he gave us he said, "Let me step away and give you some time to talk it over with each other. If you have any other questions or need anything else you can find me over in this area." He was so helpful and nice and nonpushy that Nick and I really, really enjoyed him. Then we continued on over to Denver Mattress and the salesperson over there (Brian) that approached us was the exact same way. Offered help, then left us alone to debate pros and cons of different items. We did end up buying a new mattress (since we have a new guest bedroom in need of a bed) as well as a few chairs from each of these fellows. And Furniture Row currently has a pretty great no interest program going on - if you want to finance $1000 you can do so with no interest for 1 year, $2000 is for 2 years, and $3000 is for 3 years with approved credit. So if you are in need of a lot of furniture and would like to not pay interest on it this could be a good spot to check out. read more

Is it just me, or has furniture gotten really low quality? I guess that at places like Furniture Row and American Furniture Warehouse, you're buying wholesale or discontinued furniture at a cheaper cost, thus "paying for what you get." This is the first time I've bought furniture so I'm pretty inexperienced, but I couldn't help thinking about how many beds would wind up broken . . . hopefully they were just poorly constructed in store!! In the end, we'll buy from Furniture Row anyway. After purchasing our first home, we can't afford to dish out a lot of money on furniture, and we're wondering how much our tastes will change as we get older. We're both under 30 and have fairly modern taste - so for now we'll settle on spending less for lower quality, although we're aiming for the highest quality we can find. This FR is fairly new. I was pretty annoyed at how many times the sales clerks kept coming over, and one was even fairly rude to us when we mentioned someone else had come over already, but in the end we found a dining set we like, so something great came of it :) read more

We ordered a bed frame in late May for it to be delivered early July. The morning it was supposed to be delivered, we received a call letting us know one of the parts was damaged and wouldnt be shipped out until a couple weeks later. That's their first mistake, how are you not aware that your beds are damaged until the MORNING you are supposed to deliver it? Two weeks later, no one has reached out to us on the status of our frame. So we call in, and they let us know that there was no way the damaged part would be in stock to be delivered to us. So they didnt check their inventory until the last minute and lied about when we would receive it. We received a full refund for the terrible service and went to American Furniture Warehouse who was able to get a bed frame to us within days. This company needs to get their act together! I was thrilled to find the perfect sofa, recliner and coffee table. We made our purchase February 4th and was told by Jim Skinner that our furniture would be available in 4-6 weeks. He also stated that he would contact us that if any delays came up. It is now March 27th and called to check on the ETA of our furniture. Jim checked and I was told our sofa was not available until late May. I was shocked after waiting well over a month I was NEVER contacted to be informed of this major delay. I immediately asked for a full refund of my order. After looking at other reviews of Furniture Row and Sofa Mart, this is a common complaint. I suggest they not display furniture that isn't actually available!!! What a scam! Cheap furniture, pushy salespeople. We ordered a coffee table and end table (for pick up). The sales person input our name incorrectly into their system so when we called to check on it they didn't have any record of it. When they did finally track it down, we were told they were delivered to another store. They offered us the banged up floor models instead (gee, thanks), but at the same price. Last Saturday, went to Oak Express inside Furniture Row. Was met at the door by a gentleman named Andrew. He was nothing short of fantastic! He listened carefully to what I was seeking, and within 10 minutes he had shown me absolutely exactly what I was looking for! Actually even better than what I was hoping to find. As he was writing up the purchase, he let me know that the set was actually on sale for less than the posted price. Wow, talk about an honest, great consumer advocate. Expressed to him that I had a tight schedule on the following Monday when the set was expected to arrive from their warehouse, and Andrew was incredible enough to watch for their truck and to take the time to call me to let me know that they were unloading my set. So I am writing this review on behalf of my parents. They recently built a new house and were looking for new furniture for the vast majority of the house. On Super Bowl Sunday they went into furniture row and purchased a king sized bed, a new couch, love seat, chair and ottoman, and a bedroom set. When they purchased these items they were assured all items were in stock and available for delivery. Fast forward to March. They closed on their house and when trying to organize delivery through furniture row for the items they had purchased nearly two months before. First they were told the love seat, chair and ottoman were on back order and wouldn't be delivered for another 6 weeks (so sometime in May). Then they were told their mattress would be delivered late as well and instead of being there for their move in day on Saturday they would be sleeping on an air mattress till Wednesday. But at least they would get their bedroom furniture right... Wrong, after waiting through the "scheduled" delivery time my mom called them to see what was going on. Turns out that delivery also got messed up. So out of everything they ordered the only thing to be delivered on time and as originally promised was the couch, 1 out of 6 ain't bad right? The furniture from furniture row is nice but their delivery and customer service needs some work because right now it begs the question, is it worth the wait? read more

I have been a Furniture Row credit card holder for over seven years. We have furnished our home with bedroom sets, dining room pieces, mattresses, couches, etc. We went in today to purchase a Twin XL mattress and a Queen mattress. We found the ones we wanted and proceeded to the checkout. When I went to hand over my Furniture Row credit card, the worker told me they no longer take that card and we would have to reapply for a Capital One credit card or pay 18% in interest with our current card. If anyone knows the Furniture Row credit card incentives, one was if you purchase a certain amount you get zero interest for two to three years. To see how they suddenly switched to another company without notifying their customers is unprofessional. We will never purchase from this business again until they can find time to appreciate their customers. read more

I ended up buying a set of chairs else where that has free shipping. I then talked to the manager and he says they don't charge shipping because it was the stores error. Purchased a dual reclining loveseat last August. Very comfortable and happy with the piece of furniture, although the one recliner broke and the switch and motor had to be replaced very happy with how quickly the Furniture Doctor got out and examined the problem. Part had to be ordered which took about 2 1/2 weeks. The Furniture Doctor was prompt in getting back and repairing the problem. Very happy with the furniture stores response and everything was under warranty and the people there were very polite. Jayme was great and very helpful. Will shop here again. read more

We just moved here from Los Angeles, to a much larger house. We bought a few items that were satisfactory and a few that, unfortunately, never arrived. The dates kept getting pushed back claiming it was backordered for several more weeks. So I'm not rating the furniture quality but the service. My suggestion would be to cut out vendors that do not supply a timely service to the customer. Severely disappointing when you are sleeping on the floor. I will say the manager, Andy, took great care of us and refunded our full amounts of items that were backordered. He was kind and very considerate. Making sure to follow up with me on the dinette set that had arrived on time. Also, very apologetic for the other items that were being held up. We did order our Purple Bed from Denver mattress and this was delivered ahead of schedule and we are very happy with how well we've slept on this bed. Overall, the shopping experience was great, but disappointing at the end when they couldn't deliver. That's the one note I have to whoever is in charge of the vendors representing Furniture Row.... cuz we all know - it's not how well you sell...but how well you deliver! read more

Ordered a sectional in May, had a long delivery window because of manufacturing delays which is fine. Was told some of the pieces were available and some were back ordered even longer. Every time I call nobody is able to give me a timeline of delivery and its just extremely vague, never the same. Now months past delivery date and still zero answers. Last three times I've not been able to talk to manager, this time he was there but couldn't talk because he was looking into it apparently. I'm just done with this whole situation. I needed the couch for a visit by relatives in a month and now I'm screwed if they can't deliver and wont be able to. They have good stuff that's not terribly cheap. I bought a bed here 7 years ago and finally came back in to get another side table. Fortunately they still had the exact same set from 7 years ago! Picking up the table was a pain. We wanted to take it with us and of course they didn't have it there, so we had to come back a couple days later. Came back and the warehouse guys said their picker wasn't working and my table was on the top shelf, and then just looked at me. I was like, so? Get my stuff! For years Furniture Row in Spokane has been promoting and selling a 5 year "Accident Protection" policy along with the buyer's furniture purchases. In 2017 I purchased a $3,000 leather sofa sectional and the salesperson recommended "accident protection policy" to cover accidental damage to the leather sectional. I filed a claim when the leather arm was damaged, tearing the leather leaving a opening in the leather to the padding, the claim was denied because the damage was NOT caused by A point-like hole caused by a single, specific incident, going all the way through the fabric or leather to the padding underneath. This policy is administered by the Great White Bottling Company. After Googling, I found both Furniture Row and this company, and other furniture companies are owned by the same family out of Denver Colorado. All reviews and there were many, were One Star reviews due to the same issue, denial of damage claims. The "Accident Protection Polices" are clearly sold through deceptive business practices by Furniture Row. I have emailed Furniture Row several times ... no reply. So I am leaving this review and submitting a complaint to the State Department Of Licensing. I would urge anyone who purchased a policy to do the same. read more

Sucks, run away! I recently came in to speak to a Manager A.KA. Corporate tool about the poor quaility furniture I purchase a little over two and a half years ago. I was told for a charge I could purchase new cushions for my love seat, couch and chair. Upon checking I was told the company must have gone out of business. So basically I am out of luck. He looked me in the eyes and said there is nothing they could do, or go pound sand up your rear end. I am stuck with furniture that has flat shrinking cushions, springs poking up my ass. All we wanted to do was walk around and see what F.R. had available for sectionals. However, as soon as we walked in we were bombarded by crazy aggressive sales people. One in particular, a lady, who latched onto us and immediately started telling us what we should be looking at and the areas we should stay away from. It was so uncomfortable and unpleasant. We couldn't think straight with her insane sales aggression. She literally would not leave us alone no matter the subtle suggestions and obvious discomfort we were showing. We preferred to take the couch home with us, as it was stated that most of it was at that store. We went home with only ONE part. We like our sofa and got a great deal on it during a sale. It's the customer service that hasn't impressed me. We had tons of problems with the delivery and I had to call the store several times--no one seemed to know what was going on and I spent a lot of time on hold. Then when the piece was delivered, parts were missing and we were told they'd come back. When no one came back, we called the store yet again, and determined the delivery people had forgotten about us. They did finally bring the parts and complete the delivery. I also was upset because I feel like they misrepresented their payment plans. They had a "48 mos no interest" sale and I made repeated comments that it would be great not to have to pay until 2017. The sales woman never corrected me, so I was disappointed to get a bill the next month showing I indeed do have to make monthly payments. Not a big deal, but I felt they were dishonest by not explaining that payments were still required. read more

We agreed that we would purchase the table if they could switch out the top with a new one. The sales person, John, said he would not do that, and that was it. a very low selections of beds. Mostly boring pieces, the selection of couches is okay. you will find half or more of these at AFW for probably cheaper. A basic selection of leather furniture as well. If you want leather and are on a budget- this is a good place. If you want more of a selection and have a bigger budget, this is not the place for you. Customer service was great with one guy and not great with another. I think that varies in every store though. I like a sales person who wants to earn business not who judges who can and cant afford their crap! Overall, i'm not really impressed but we found one couch we liked but not enough to buy it! This review is on Furniture Row in general. Pretty interesting place to go and visit. I was surprised how empty the store was compared to AFW. Prices were just about the same you will find else where and quality not too bad either. Pro's: Decent items Knowledgable sales staff Clean & well organized Con's: Operation needs improvements! I found on two separate occasions the warehouse staff to be very unprofessional. When asked to remove packaging material it seemed to be a hassle. Seriously?! Also felt there was lack of training as my purchase was literally shoved into my truck. I was also disappointed at the fact the one bedroom set I did like and started purchasing was actually on close out. Lucky we were still able to find the dresser that matched our nightstands. I had a mixed experience. Leaving a review per the request of the company thru email. Initial contact: salesperson seeked me out immediately after entering. A bit forceful but experienced and many different stores that day. They made an introduction and let me browse around. Selection: decent selection of dining sets and sofas...what I was looking for. For the prices, I thought the quality matched. Ordering: this was the painful part. Go figure, give a lot of money and get poor service back. The company and some employees are responsible for my feelings on this part. The saleswoman, upon calling to order, was very rushing considering I started the call with 'I want to order these items'. I was calmly trying to walk thru changes on the order including address changes and she was rushing and making mistakes. Thought it was taken care of. They then said I needed to come down to the store to sign paperwork. Ridiculous in this age that that is required. I politely asked if I can sign at a closer store to me and she said no problem and would send the paperwork over. Hours later, I go to my local store and they have no idea what I am talking about. It was like they had a different process. They are the same company but I wondered if they really operated under the same management. I was redirected to another store down the street and got thru the same head scratching process. Ultimately, the store manager cam over to assist the associate and made a direct call to the manager of the store I bought this furniture at to resolve the issue. Over an hr just to get a signature for something I already purchased! Crazy. I appreciate the manager and employees for acting professionally during the signing process but there is a big operational disconnect between stores that could easily be resolved. Delivery: Crew was prompt, professional and courteous. They assembled the furniture in no time and were friendly during the entire visit. My most enjoyable part of the experience. read more
