Called to see if they had any openings to fit my dog in who got sprayed by a skunk. They fit us in…read moreso I was very hopeful of having a place so close to home. When I picked her up I saw that she had been blown dried cause hair was not nicely in place like after being brushed. Then on her side was soap still. I brought it to the attention of the girl in front who grabbed a towel and wiped the soap off. Then I noticed that she had the same eye junk on her face of when I dropped her off. Was told they are careful of the eye area but why is it still on her face ? Said they bring her in the back and fix it. They set the price you pay whatever they ask cause your thinking it will be done right the 1st time. I left and figured at this point I will just do it myself. She still smelled like skunk especially neck up like they didn't do any of that. Even tthe groomer said she was not bad and it would work. Update : The owner was nice enough to reach out to me and apologize also refunded 75% of what I paid. After speaking with her I truly think she wants to do right by all of her customers. I will give them another chance and update then. So happy we gave Yuppy Puppy a second try ! My Rotti looks great and they treated her with such care. Britney took the time to talk to me before the appointment and also when my husband dropped off our dog. Thank you and we will be back :)

We brought our dog in after a week of not eating, rapidly advancing into not drinking water,…read morepeeing, panting, lethargy. A staff member met my husband in the parking lot before the hospital opened and admitted our guy. Dr. McKenna was very attentive to our dog. We were very impressed with the doctor and the staff when we needed them most. Very good job.

Dr. Sheena Dadkhah recently did a surgery on our dog who had a Mass Cell on the top of her head!…read moreGranted it was no cancerous, there was a little to much urgency into surgery as the mass cell was diminishing from the anti-inflammatories she was given. As a result of the surgery, our dog now has facial nerve (cranial nerve VII) paralysis! This was a simple surgery, and now our loving dog has this issue to deal with! When we took her back to be checked out, as her top eyelid was not shutting, her left ear wasn't moving or her left nostril, Dr. Dadkhahs only suggestion was to get an MRI - SUPER - lets spend $6,000 for what? I'm not saying Google is a good doctor, but it was more effective in diagnosing our dog than this "vet surgeon"! Just awful pre and post care! A good vet surgeon would have waited to do surgery Vs rush rush rush - to see if the mass cell would go completely which was looking like it was. Additionally, for someone who's been to school for this type of stuff, not to identify that she has facial nerve (cranial nerve VII) paralysis is just flat out DUMB!! Not only this, but she denied that there was no issue with her surgery. RIGHT!! If your dog needs a checkup - great place - if your dog needs good care - NOT THE PLACE!

**Updating my review -- unfortunately dropping my rating.**…read more I originally gave this place five stars, but after repeated issues, I have to bring that down. Over the past few months I've dealt with multiple last-minute cancellations -- usually about two hours before my appointment -- because a groomer called in. I get that it happens occasionally, but it became a pattern, especially on Sundays. In April, I had to cancel for one of my senior dogs due to illness. I called the day before, but was still charged a fee for not giving 24 hours' notice. I paid it without complaint, even though I'd already been cancelled on multiple times with only two hours' notice, and even though I drive 30-35 minutes each way. My senior dog also has a medical exemption from her rabies shot due to a blood condition, so this is the only groomer I can take her to. In June, I scheduled again for both dogs -- cancelled two hours before, again. I let that one go too and rescheduled for the earliest opening, two weeks out. I showed up that Sunday with both dogs, and was told my 9am appointment was cancelled because the technician had called in -- again. No one had called to warn me. Staff at the desk didn't apologize, just said "you can reschedule." I overheard them say they hadn't had time to call anyone. At that point I calmly told them I was done: I'd paid a cancellation fee once, been cancelled on within two hours of my appointment, and now I was cancelled with zero notice for both dogs. That's two cancellations in one month, on top of a fee I never should have been charged given how often they cancel on customers. No same-day rescheduling, no credits, no accountability -- customers eat the cost every time, but there's no consequence on their end. I really did enjoy this place, but the staffing/call-in situation is out of control. I won't be going back, and I'll be finding another groomer for my healthy dog and grooming my senior girl myself going forward. *** i don't know why my last review says i posted that 1 month ago. more like 1 year ago.
