I lived in summerlin and had encountered some traffic.... I called and let them know I was running a few minutes behind and the OWNER rudely told me to come back tomorrow. I had to beg for him to stay open 5 minutes after! Upon arrival a gentleman walks in the same time as me with his deceased pet. Instead of just simply giving me (the deceased) Bailey back to me ....I had to awkwardly wait over 25 minutes while every detail was explained. I like to think that someone who has owned a business for 20 years would understand the common knowledge of prioritization. Did you tell the man you were closed? Had he called.... Nope.... Yet I called and was rudely told to hurry up! I would never tell someone to hurry up and as soon as they walk through the door wait on another UNEXPECTED guest for 20 minutes. But they already had my money and they knew I wasn't going to leave so YES.... I think that was very DISTASTEFUL.....Now fast forward to April 17, 2026. I go to pick up my buddy Benson (deceased/ashes) and again it's over a 15 minute wait... but get this.... THEY CANT FIND HIM!!! By this time I'm nauseous and step outside to get some air and sit in my car for a second ..... what I see next is APPALLING!!! A man driving the '"Compassionate Pet Cremation" van open up the back hatch and takes blue bags (one would assume of the deceased) and throws them on top of a barrel/table in the back. Mind you it's 75/80 degrees out..... they charge $140 for them to come and get your loved ones and throw them in TRASH BAGS!!! I go back inside and they tell me they had him under the wrong name and they were sorry. I the ask if they do military discount and they say yes 20% yet never offered to adjust my purchase amount ;/ One times a fluke Two times is a NO GO for me May wanna take "Compassion" out of your business name! Also listed my dog as 25 years old on the certificate :/ he was 15 I'll post that when I get a picture! And don't place your shortcomings on your employees! This was done by THE OWNER and it appears that every negative review posted on here has some drawn out explanation instead of "I'm sorry" or "How can we do better" You just don't care. ADMIT IT Once again it's definitely UNCOMPASSION PET CRATION

Nala always experienced anxiety when visiting the vet, and I couldn't bear the thought of her last day being filled with stress and fear. If you're on the fence about in-home euthanasia for your beloved pet, I can wholeheartedly say that Peace for Paws is worth it. Dr. Sarena and her team were prompt, professional, compassionate, and incredibly caring throughout the entire process. They helped make a heartbreaking goodbye as peaceful and dignified as possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for providing such a wonderful service. We will always be grateful for the kindness and comfort you brought to Nala and our family.

The website had wonderful suggestions on how to set your pet up in a relaxing area, how to handle the other pets maybe wanting to say goodbye, and what to expect throughout the process. I especially appreciated Dr. Olsen walking us through each step again when she was onsite. Sometimes it is difficult to remember what we read as we are actually in the process and focusing on our last minutes with our beloved. Dr. Olsen was near but not hovering so we didn't feel rushed at all; we controlled the pace at all times. She made in-the-minute suggestions that I'm so glad she asked since I know I would have regretted not doing so. For instance, she and I lovingly put my sweet dog into a basket after she left us and Dr. Olsen asked if I would like to carry her out. I balked at first but I'm so glad I did. It helped in my process of letting my darling go. Dr. Olsen had made the back of her SUV a loving tribute as I slid the basket into the back of the vehicle with a blanket for the basket to lay on and a beautiful sentiment nearby on an easel. I'm grateful to Dr. Olsen for making this difficult time as peaceful and calm as it could be. I'm so glad we chose Peace for Paws.

Ciara and the entire team at West Coast Pet Memorial showed us extraordinary compassion and handled our beloved little Danbi with the utmost care and respect. From the initial intake and arrangements, through the gentle viewing and private cremation, they went above and beyond to make a heartbreaking process as painless and seamless as possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for looking after us and our sweet Danbi during this devastating time. There is now Sweet Rain waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.

I will remember you and what you did for our family, for the rest of my life. There are no words that I can say to thank you enough. We suddenly lost our dog on Saturday, very unexpected, from what the vet thinks was a blood clot, while my husband was driving in the car with her. There was no time to say goodbye. She was supposed to be going to the vet for her subcutaneous fluids she had been getting to help w/ a case of pancreatitis she had recently and coming home. 30 minutes being gone turned into forever. She was by my side for 11 and a half years. We are 9 months pregnant with our first child and Emma was supposed to meet him. It wasn't supposed to be like this. They held at Emma's body at the Las Vegas emergency care center on Tropicana because that's where we took her right away when we didn't know what was wrong and what just happened. In the end she was gone and they referred us to West Coast Pet Memorial. We chose a private cremation, of course, and they gave us the directions on the next steps. On Monday, someone from West Coast Pet Memorial Memorial called me because I left a voicemail to ask about this visitation service, but I didn't know it was offered but saw another review. They told me the price and that it was an hour and someone else called me to schedule it. Ikeya gave Emma a bath, blew her hair dry, gave her a little bow on her head. She looked so beautiful and so peaceful. She smelled good. It was a night and day difference in my heart from what I saw at the emergency vet just moments after Emma had died suddenly. The compassion Ikeya showed. Her love of animals. She shared with me her own babies story that she lost in May. She can't make this experience go away and bring my baby back but she sure made it a hell of a lot better. I left there yesterday with my heart so full that I got to hold Emma for an hour that I never thought I would get and that somehow in this world with so much negativity, there is a human named Ikeya who I will never be able to thank enough. I hope West Coast Pet Memorial knows how much of a special person you have there. To anyone who has lost their baby and is torn between doing the visitation. Do it. I promise you, you will be thankful and never regret it. Time is a thief and this was a gift.

There were only a few cats which was incredible, because so often they are full. The dogs, though, broke my heart. Their cages are clean and the animals were all healthy, just sad and lonely. We went to kennel after kennel and it was just heartbreaking to see so many sweet, beautiful, adorable, and needy dogs. It makes me want to beg all of Las Vegas to please go and adopt a sweet new dog, but I know that not everyone wants a dog or can have them for whatever reason. We don't even have dogs, but we do both love them. I just hope that the people who can adopt dogs will go to the animal foundation and help give an animal a forever home.

I've tried numerous times to inquire about a posted pet and by the time I get a response- either it was adopted or an organization came and took the pet. It would be nice to know before I go all the way to north Las Vegas what the availability is. I would hate to go there and it pet is adopted. I've also dropped off strays I've found here like 3x. It's such a loooooonnnggg tedious process! Like they make you wait so long for thier intake. I had at one point had to get staff to help us asap when 2 of the dogs didn't want to go in! It took forever! I'm just disappointed in this place. They are suppose to help these pets but they are so disorganized and they have become one of the biggest high kill organizations here in Vegas. How sad!
