Coming from out of state, I am very happy that they carry Fromm! They're decently priced (for…read moreFromm) with the same 12 bag get your 13th free plan at the store (via manufacturer). For our cat, we get the wet food brand Weruna - and although I'm used to a very similar Fromm purchasing plan of the bigger cans (per store policy at a different store), Pet Mania unfortunately doesn't do that here. However, there's a very huge flavor selection of this brand (that comes in the small cans), so I'm pretty happy with having many choices. Finally, my cat also loves a stuffed animal brand called supercat (mainly the dinosaurs though), and this store carries this with a price pretty competitive to that of Amazon. Very well stocked for being a fairly small store, so I come here for most of my pets' needs. Fair warning that compared to other commercial stores, some may think this is pricey; however, the selections here tend to be the higher quality brands overall.

I recently visited the Petco store in Chapel Hill NC. I was…read moreshocked to see that this store sells live creatures: birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, ferrets, etc. I cannot believe living creatures are still be sold for profit in the year 2024. It's so sad, disgusting and an unfortunate realization that profit comes before a living creature's well being and natural right to be free. The staff was very supportive and got me the info I needed to contact Petco customer service. There was one exception though; one staff person said, "It is what it is". Unfortunately I think the Petco company shares that staff person's opinion. I will not return to support this companies mission to profit at all cost. I like this little shop and what they have to offer, I am a fan! The Deets: We visited this little pet boutique while walking around the Brightleaf area of Durham after Sunday brunch. What a nice little shop! Lots of food, chews, clothing, accessories, etc. for your pet to peruse and choose from. The ladies at the shop were very positive and helpful and even wanted pictures of our lil pup Emma with her new sweater purchase on. There is a lot of variety of items but can also tell that what they do have has been carefully curated for their customers. Emma definitely had a great time looking/sniffing through the selections and I find that is the true test of a good pet boutique...if the clientele is interested! If you have a pet, come on by to OEOTL and see what they have to offer, I am glad we did and Emma has a nice new sweater from the experience.

on 2/13/26 I dropped off an extremely nervous terrier @ Pet Supplies Plus in Durham - she's been to…read moregroomers before but she's so anxious as she grow older I fear a heart attack - truly. But she was covered in mats (I was trying to groom her at home but she's too hard too control - it wasn't working) AND long toe nails. Kaitlyn groomed her -OMG! it was amazing - yes she now looks like a fat guinea pig (which is why I'm not including a photo) but I don't care about the look, told Kaitlyn that I just needed to get rid of the mats, we talked and made a plan to 'take it all off and we will start all over for a new coat' - will go back in 6 weeks, and ask for Kaitlyn! BTW the free toy they give the dog - might be a 'gimmick' but it's weird - my dog has been carrying it around all day - go figure - hates the store, but loves the toy. Definitely recommend.
