Fuse replaced my 200A panel with a 400A panel. There are some things about my project with Fuse I really loved and other parts that I wouldn't recommend. The great part of Fuse: The workers and electricians themselves seem high quality, thoughtful, and don't skip steps. They are also polite and professional What Fuse can improve on: Compared to other contractors I've worked with, their communication and project management was not too great. It was hard to understand where we were in the project and when things would happen which made it hard to plan around. For example, one day, I happened to be outside the house and found them preparing to dig a trench (through my neighbor's yard!) to get to my panel. Another example is that even with several different requests to understand the broader timeline, I never really understood when things would be done and what 'done' is. Lastly, billing: it felt like they use a third party for billing. Some folks called me to close out the project but it was clearly not done. They didn't know much about the project and had to call me back after talking with Fuse/other workers at Fuse and also there were some charges they didn't realize were already charged. Overall, they will give you a very competitive bid (in my experience) and the quality of work seemed high. Just be prepared to be a bit confused along the way. read more

Found Fuse HVAC & Appliance Repair on Yelp and we are grateful. After qualifying multiple businesses we went with Fuse HVAC. The owner responded immediately via Yelp and broke down the process. I had availability Monday or Wednesday and the Owner set up a same day appointment! Others were backed up 1-1/2-2 weeks. After the appointment was set I received a reminder via text. Alex showed up on time. His professionalism and knowledge was impressive. Alex too was patient with my questions and answered all of them with a smile. When I did leave to give Alex space to work as I didn't want to be a helicopter customer he would call me outside to show me the HVAC process and showed me how to maintain our unit. I called on a Saturday afternoon in need of help replacing a part in our washing machine, and a technician was available to come out in a couple hours. We had first tried a different company to replace the part, and they were unable to remove the old part due to a very stuck screw. Alex from Fuse came out and worked at it for over an hour, even taking a trip to the store to pick up a special tool. And he got it! My A/C went out last night at 3am in the blistering heatwave of Sept 2022. I panicked and called multiple companies (big and small alike) and Fuse was the only one who could make it out on a same day emergency basis. Since I was desperate I took the late afternoon appointment. The technician, Ivan, was friendly and very efficient. He was able to figure out the problem, change out the faulty capacitor, clean up, and check out in 20 minutes. My A/C is now back up and running and I and my cats are no longer melting in this heat. The price was not discussed before the repair was completed (he should have gotten authorization prior to repair) but I was willing to pay just about anything to get it cool in the house again.
