I was excited about trying this place. It's like a Subway sandwich place for sushi. You can create your own rolls or order whatever you want from the menu. I ordered shrimp tempura sticks as appetizers and two rolls. A California roll and a salmon roll. My eyes were bigger than my stomach OR the rolls were bigger than normal. Either way, I almost couldn't finish both rolls. And.... I was okay with that. They were okay, but not as tasty as I had built them up to be in my mind. For one, the wasabi that wrapped the rolls was chewy. I wasn't expecting that and kinda didn't like it. The flavors weren't really my thing either. I can't really put my finger on it. I was looking for a quick and easy, healthy bite. I ended up ordering here for takeout. I built my own bowl and also they had a Bogo special on spicy tuna rolls so I decided to get that. The bowl itself was okay. I thought it was interesting it was premixed as opposed to having all the items I added on top. However, let me tell you, every time I'm in Toledo this is one of the places I make it my business to stop at. It has a fast foodish good for you feel. It tastes better, it feels better, it's honest to goodness fresh sushi, and that's to be celebrated by devouring it and rolling your swollen fish filled body out the door. Their tuna poke is perfect, truly, no notes. The tuna is fresh, the red onion, avocado and cucumber are peak fresh, and the sauce is so sweet and delicious. It's the perfect bowl of flavor. I get a Cali roll on the size because again, I love good crab and sweet sauces, and this roll is great. My kids enjoyed the shrimp tempura, and the chili dipping sauce was really delicious. Rolls too loose and fall apart, "krab salad" in the California roll doesn't even have Mayo in it. Just plain raw fake crab. Rice is dry and is of the brown type. The fish itself was decent. The inside is very modern looking and brightly lit. I ended up doing a create your own bowl! They had a vegetarian option of doing tofu, which was pretty good. They have plenty of fresh veggies to choose from for your toppings. You also have a choice of different types of sauces. I also got the miso soup which had pieces of tofu in it. It was slightly salty to my taste but still pretty good. For the price, you get a lot of food. I was able to make two meals out of it. I recently took my daughter shopping for a HOCO dress and we stopped here for lunch after. I did not like the vibe or ambiance of the restaurant at all. It was kind of set up like a lunch line or like a Subway, where they build your sushi rolls right in front of you. They seemed unsure, the ingredients didn't seem fresh. The rolls were not rolled tight and they were sloppy looking. And when I paid with cash the guy at the register yelled at the top of his lungs, "I GOT CASH HERE!" It was not only jarring but made me feel like I was wrong for paying in cash. The lavender lemonade was gross. The asparagus was not fresh, there was something chewy in my California roll that turned me off from eating the rest of the roll after that particular bite. Later that night I had a hell of a stomach ache and some other unsavory digestive issues. My daughter's stepmom was with us and even though we were clearly there as a group and I got my rolls and my daughters to dine-in, they decided to put her stepmom's order in a to-go box. I ordered on DoorDash hoping for a healthier option for dinner , I got the salmon poke bowl because my friend had just ordered it from DoorDash at work the day before and it looked delicious ( this was my first time trying fusian and it was NOT a good experience) I also got the kids bento box although it is for children I felt that was the best option to try a few things since it was my first time trying this place . The kids bento box was supposed to have a cucumber salad , 2 potstickers and a tuna sushi roll. When it arrived the box looked pretty much empty and there was no cucumber salad. My salmon poke bowl did not have the soy-sesame sauce in it it was supposed to have so it was super bland and I had to settle for the soy sauce packets they gave. There was also brown pieces of salmon I picked out , browned avocado & all my salmon was cut except one big piece which was strange. I called the restaurant to let them know my cucumber salad was missing and asked if they knew who made it to make sure it wasn't the doordasher who took it. To which the girl replied I don't know who made it and all of my employees are gone for the night kind of dismissing me and didn't seem to concerned, told me to call DoorDash and get a refund and that they , I quote "probably forgot it" . Called DoorDash and got a refund for that item to which I should have called and got a refund for it all because later tonight I got really bad food poisoning and got sick a few times and that's the only meal I ate today because I was busy throughout the day. Long story short terrible first experience, doesn't seem like they care about their customers/ customer service or the food they're putting out & I will not be spending money here ever again. Makes me really sad because I'm a major foody and I have worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years , was hoping to find a new place I loved. Edit: I also just remembered I put that I wanted spicy mayo as the sauce for the bento box and I never got that either. However they are blatantly in violation of that mandate. They argue that they are not following that mandate even though it is a poster on their door. The place has gone downhill fast. I did try to convert try gift cards to credit as you had told me could be done. It could not be done in person or online. I went to retry fusian after skipping for a while and was left disappointed yet again. Someone needs to be checking the rice before they serve it. Got home today and can barely eat my roll. Far too many times have I gotten home and take a bite of a roll/bowl and the rice is HARD. It has happened again. It is disgusting. I have left sushi in the fridge for a day and the rice doesn't get as hard as this rice is right now. It's either stale leftovers from the day before or it's been sitting out. I went here the other day and ordered the gyoza and a sushi bowl. The gyoza was lukewarm and the edges were very crispy and hard like it had been sitting out a few hours. It was dry and cracked. I then made my own bowl and the protein is where I feel l was cheated. It's like 10 dollars for protein and they give you a very meager scoop. Then it's 3 dollars for extra. This lady looked me in the eyes and added the smallest scoop and then said it would be extra. She then asked if I wanted avocado which I said yes it was an up charge she scraped out maybe an eighth of an avocado that was black and brown into my bowl. I have been to this place a few times and have enjoyed it. I just feel like they were instructed to put as little ingredients as they can get away. I'm surprised as a human they didn't think "what would I want" when preparing this bowl. Artificial crab is 4 dollars for a whole package. Avocados cost a dollar. read more

Probably one of my favorite places for quick eats. Their menu is clear, easy to read. They also have a separate portion that helps with any allergies or intolerances you may have. Items are also really easy to sub out or remove altogether. While their menu is totally different than their old menu when they opened, you can still make your own roll if you remember old combinations they had, or that you liked. Their drink selection is also great, and offers good choices beyond soft drinks. Their lemonades and teas are tasty and fresh and my favorite? The ginger lemonade. It's alright the first time you eat it. It's okay the second time. But by the third, you realize it's nothing more than cafeteria sushi. The miso soup served here is the la croix of miso soup, meaning it tastes only vaguely of miso soup and mostly of just hot water. The sushi is sweaty and gammy, and when it's eaten, you begin to question if it's even real. Every bite becomes more and more of a struggle to choke down, and by the final bite the only thought can be "oh, thank goodness this is finally over." If you're trying to be polite, you discuss with those at your table that Rice Blvd is superior. If you're done with being polite, you discuss how nauseous you are. So try it once, and then go get some better sushi at Rice Blvd or Sakura. read more
