I believe I have gotten a to go pizza from here before, but it's been a long time. Today I got the special Brick Oven pizza which had spicy salami, spicy sausage, jalenpenos, mozzarella, tomato sauce, parmesan and parsley. I also ordered.the Chimichurri Alfredo (sautéed chicken, hose made chimichurri and alfredo sauce and sundried tomatoes) over tri-coores Tortellini for lunch tomorrow. The brick oven pizza was amazing. Good amount of heat anyone should be able to tolerate. Excellent pizza! I also got to try another special pizza with Roasted red pepper, mushroom, feta and balsalmic glaze - delicious! They have a good Happy Hour everyday 3-6 with 4 food items, beer, wine and well drinks. Great bang for your buck. I sat at the bar to get the HH wine and Brianna took great care of me. She kept watching to make sure I got my 2 glasses before 6 p.m. Since I didnt get there till 5:40. She was super sweet and was taking care of the bar area efficiently and quickly. I was here for a private party and I was honestly blown away by how good the service was and the food was good despite being a limited menu for a lot of people in a short amount of time. They brought a bunch of starters out for us. Delicious soft focaccia bread, heavenly mozzarella sticks (the sauce was a bit sweet for my liking but the breading was awesome), a salad that was pretty good for a salad, and meatballs with ricotta on top . Then they brought out penne alla vodka for the table and it was absolutely one of the best penne alla vodkas I've ever had. We had a choice of chicken Parm, eggplant Parm, chicken francese and chicken marsala. I got the chicken marsala but honestly I am not a huge fan of any of those dishes normally. I was good with just the penne alla vodka. The chicken I got was one really small piece with a bunch of spaghetti. It was alright but I'm just not a marsala girl so take that with a grain of salt. They also brought out either cheesecake or a cannoli for dessert. Also not my favorite options but I wasn't in charge of the menu lol. I didn't get the cheesecake but my dad, who's a cannoli connoisseur did not like it. But all the starters were amazing so I don't even care about the stuff that I wouldn't have ordered anyway lol. I have to start off by saying I love this restaurant and the food is phenomenal. The Beast of Burden pizza is unreal. But, their service in my most recent experience was beyond disappointing. I ordered dinner for my family for delivery directly through their website. I've ordered this way many times and love how quickly they delivered. On this night, an hour passed and no delivery was made. I called and was told their delivery fulfillment service hadn't picked up our food yet but they should be soon. Another 30 minutes go by (it's now nearly their closing time) and I get a call from the restaurant that the food was never picked up for delivery by fulfillment. They were about to close and were unable to deliver the food (not to mention the fact that it was sitting there for over an hour now). I had hungry children waiting for dinner and was offered no solution. I was passed off to a manager who then argued with me saying their website doesn't allow for delivery and I must have ordered through DoorDash (I did not - ordered through their website directly). I was very nice but was not about to be gaslit by someone when I was looking at my confirmation email showing "for delivery." The manager then hung up on me, I called back and she apologized and said they noticed something was wrong with their website and I shouldn't have been allowed to place a delivery order. She canceled and refunded my order and that was it. Now, it was late on a Sunday night and I had to spend double the cost to expedite another order for delivery through DoorDash. I cannot express how disappointing this experience was, particularly the gaslighting and argumentative nature of the manager who talked down to me while I offered to show proof I had ordered for delivery through their website. I've been to Fusion Union many times, every time the meal has been excellent. Lasagna Balls are a must try, the caprese salad's tomatoes were perfect.OMG, the Odd Couple with chicken and shrimp is just so delicious that's my new favorite dish. Their brick pizza oven a plus, as I feel it makes it taste different. So customizable and so many options, but my favorite is the Luca Brasi. Their cocktails are also on point. I ordered a Mimosa last time absolutely loved it. They do have bottomless for 120 minutes. Service is a hit or miss depending on the server. Perfect for solo, couples or group I feel it's a little loud since the bar is right next to the dinning area, but otherwise a good place to get local Italian. read more

This was my second time here in 4 years, but it's as good as I remember it. The wood fired pizza is absolutely delicious. It's cooked perfectly, and the ingredients you can tell are really fresh, especially the cheese. The Nonna Romano is my favorite. Crush tomato olive oil garlic and fresh cheese. We also tried the bbq pulled pork with onions, and that was also amazing. I highly recommend the ravioli for an appetizer. Will be back again for sure. read more

It tasted so bizarre and delicious I was thrown back. Its not often I am able to actually experience a new TASTE, and this the mark. It tasted deliciously fresh and I loved every bite. The bad? @ $23.00 it didnt come with so much as a cracker. What Italian dish doesnt come with a piece of bread or something?? My wifes meal, I forget the name, was also left with no bread, salad, soup, nothing. I was shocked and disapointed - my sauce was off the chain delish and I had to wave goodbye to it... Overall the atmosphere was great (very noisy, but ‍), the service impeccable, and the food was adequate. The 2 stars are gone because something so basic and easy was left out. Really great pizza, and I've had a few pasta dishes I really like. It's consistent and they use quality ingredients.

I get a few orders here for grub hub and wanted to try myself during lunch. It was pretty slow, so the bartender was doubling as the server this day. Very friendly and polite, he explained the menu a little and offered me the drink menu, I declined and got a soda instead. so, I ordered the cheesy garlic bread and pier 39 pasta. Garlic bread was very cheesy like its name said hah, bread was fairly toasted, but not a single brunt or over baked spot, also light on the garlic so it was not overpowering as well. Pier 39 pasta, the noodles were perfectly al Dante, shrimps were plump and not overcooked, mussels were steamed nice and not too shrunken after cooked, calamari had a nice balance of rings and tenacles, the fra diavlo sauce was fresh and nicely seasoned. overall, I enjoyed my meal, next time i should try their pizza. read more

I've been coming here since they opened and had a very bad experience the other night not only with the waitress, but the food and the bill. Waitress seemed to not know her job it was more important to keep chatting with her coworkers in the corner . Unfortunately a very young staff there. Waited a while just to get a drink and decided to ask for mozzarella sticks and bubble bread with garlic aïoli dip as well only to be told we could not order bubble bread and they no longer have the dip. I explained that we come all the time and it's never been a problem. They just charge us. She was insistent that we order the sharing plank in order to get the bubble bread. So I order the sharing plank. The mozzarella sticks were cold, and the meat on the sharing plank should not even have been on the board or given to a customer. The prosciutto was dried out and hard and the salami was brown. I asked for a plate to take the meat off and said I would just take more cheese and olives not only did she not bring a plate but she did not replenish with more cheese or olives instead, the owner came over and said the waitress was not understanding. Not sure what there was not to understand. I showed him the brown and dried meat. I explained that the mozzarella sticks were cold and that she said they no longer have the garlic aïoli dip in which he said they did still have the dip and he would bring it right over unfortunately that too was cold. We were never asked if we wanted refills nor did she bother to check on us to see if we needed anything else and just delivered a pizza box and the bill. She did remove the sharing plank when the pizza came, which was quickly because I'm assuming she put the entire order through altogether instead of giving us our appetizers and then placing the dinner order. I asked her where the sharing plank leftovers were because I had assumed she was going to wrap them and she claimed "I threw them out". And I noticed I was still being charged so I told her that was unacceptable. She comes back and only half the amount was taken off the sharing plank. Mind you because the pizza came out a minute after she put the sharing plate down, I had two pieces of cheese and one olive and yet was charged. And didn't get to take it home. It will be quite a long time before I return to this establishment. read more

I was lucky enough to go to the soft opening a couple of months ago and I've been able to visit it intermittently since then. There was some negative press surrounding this place which was unfortunate but from my experience I've had nothing but great service and the same level of food from the first visit to my most recent. The strength of the menu is centered around its pizza offerings which I would recommend right out the gate. The appetizers are actually very very good and on most days I could make a meal out of two or three of those but as a first time guest I would give the pizza offerings a crack and maybe start off with a Roman pie. They do have a full bar which is well stocked and they do have a pretty extensive wine list (can't tell you much about it wine is not my game) however I can tell you that the sharing charcuterie board is definitely for at least two people maybe three. If you plan on ordering that plus an appetizer you will have something to take home. The servers are very pleasant and know the menu pretty damn well so go ahead and ask for their pet dishes. If you plan on going on the weekends you might as well make a reservation if not you'll have at least half an hour away which can be passed away in the bar area catching a game and having a beer or two. plenty of parking all around the area getting out might be a hassle just because of the location on 300 but if not it's worth a trip. read more

We wished we would've checked, but when we got home we noticed the pizzas were burned! The crust was black all around the edges, smelled like burnt, and when you lifted the pie the bottom was full of burnt marks. $40 for two vegan pizza pies that are burnt and personal size - what a disappointment, money down the drain. It seemed they cooked them before the set time and thus were cold, and quality very bad - how can you not see dough and crust completely burned and still serve it?! Taste was also subpar. I don't often leave work in time for brunch but as of recent discovery I made, this place brunches hard and available till 3pm! It has been my third visit; once for lunch and now twice for brunch. The first visit was tasty, service was decent at best, but from the first to my last visit I have witnessed an improvement each time. This Sunday brunch we were a party of 6 and everyone placed their order with a fun, friendly and knowledgeable waitress. I had the BOH sandwich. It's a breakfast chicken Parmesan and it's HUGE. Full of flavor, creamy ricotta cheese, scrambled egg, and siracha. The only thing they don't tell you is there is no way you will finish it in one seating. A great compliment to the sandwich were crispy hot, fresh shoestring fries. My father ordered a pepperoni, bbq chicken, broccoli rabe pizza, it sounded super weird all on the same pie but boy did it work well when being eaten. Friends ordered the BEC sandwich and again this is a home run. Crispy bacon, Egg and Creamy ricotta cheese its such a flavor profile the creaminess with the salty smokiness of the bacon. I wanted to eat their sandwich as well. I also recommend try their spicy oil with a little Parmesan it is simply delightful. All in all I am glad my experience improved and it has gotten better with time. I recommend you try it out but do know the cost is not your basic chain restaurant prices but I find the food quality and service makes it a great date spot or fun brunch spot to share with others. 5 stars read more

Amazing. There was one shortcoming IMO (female bartender with glasses wasn't welcoming, friendly or helpful). No place is perfect, but they certainly tried, and came really close. We ended up here as we waited for AAA to pick up a friend's vehicle. At first I asked if some of the ladies in the group could use the bathroom in exchange for a purchase. The amicable hostess said they should come in and relieve themselves, no purchase needed. Once we got everything settled with AAA, we decided to come in again and eat / drink. The staff was VERY ACCOMODATING, considering we had been through a harrowing time. The manager was kind, had a great sense of humor and patience. Although the restaurant was expecting two parties of 20+, they took it in stride when we said our party would grow by 14. While our food had already come out to great acclaim, they took our friends' orders, and brought out their drinks quickly, and food in reasonable time, especially considering the sudden influx of customers. Food is great! I usually opt for gluten free pizzas, and this was the best I'd had: crispy, chewy crust, and the "Nuts and Bolts" topping combo was fantastic. (I won't lie, wheat is still best in terms of taste, but this was great.) Drinks are poured well and at a reasonable price, if you're visiting from NYC. Really surprised how much I like this place given the mixed reviews. I've gotten takeout from here twice and both times were excellent. The first time I tried to get one roman and one neopolitan, but they were out of the Roman dough, and a finochio salad. Both pizzas were great, not as small as a lot of places that do smaller, individual pies. One per person is definitely enough, probably with leftovers. The salad wasn't good, but is it really even a pizzeria if the salad doesn't suck? The second time I got a roman pie, the one with sausage, pepperoni and green olives, and the lasagna bites. Its more similar to a Sicilian or Detroit pizza than a roman in my opinion, but it was very good, and big. I'd say one roman pie and an app or salad can feed two people. The lasagna bites were ridiculous, I don't know where they got the idea to do deep fried lasagna balls, but I could eat myself sick on those things. The prices might be a little high. I get that it's a fancy pizza shop and they need to charge more than a neighborhood place, but you're probably looking at $50 for two people. It's worth it, but I don't think it's gonna be anybody's once or twice a week spot. One other thing to note is that the pizzas come with the ingredients listed, so if it doesn't say tomato sauce in the description, it doesn't have tomato sauce on it. So me and my wife decided to try this place on a Saturday evening since we pass it on the way to the chain restaurants all the time. I decided to give them a little test, I ordered calamari app, bread app, broccoli rabe side, and two orders of chicken Milanese to share with my wife. These selections are seldom done well in the general area. The calamari was great and the best I have had in a long time. The bread was fresh and was served with interesting dipping sauces. The broccoli rabe was cooked and seasoned well and tasted great. The chicken Milanese was a disappointment, the chicken was overdone and poorly seasoned. The greens were not tasty. Service was average. We were made to feel rushed. The price was on the high side. With 18 percent tip it was 90 bucks and we did not have beer or wine. We will be back to try other dishes but I can only give 3 stars. Food and service need some improvement. read more

This is Chef Bruno DiFabio's place. Apparently he's a six time World Pizza Champion who has also been a Judge on the Food Network's Chopped. If anyone from the Food Network actually ate here, they would chop him and be extremely disappointed. I first starting coming here when they just opened. The food was outstanding. The meatballs were big and you could really taste the quality of ingredients and the love that went into making them. The red gravy they were in, had a nice fresh tomato flavor that really tasted like it had been simmering all day. Most importantly, it was free of overly sweet things a lot of places put in their sauces these days. The wings, just outstanding. You could tell they were braised because of how moist and flavorful the meat was. The sauce was extremely unique, delicious and it kind of caramelized giving it such a great depth of flavor. Little hot rounded off by a little sweet. As for the pizza, I always got a thin crust and it was delicious. The service was also fantastic and friendly. However, after going back after the fourth or fifth time, the place seriously took a nose dive. It was absolutely horrible. The meatballs tasted like they opened a bag of frozen meatballs from Price Chopper and the gravy/Sauce tasted like it was out of a Jar. The wings, forget about it. The wings themselves were now just a regular fried pizza joint wing and the sauce was loose and the flavor was horrible. No balance of flavor at all. The pizza was just ok. One day I came in and the owner was having a staff meeting in the dining area. He was preaching consistency because they absolutely had non. However, this is supposed to be some famous chef's place, it's his responsibility to ensure everything that comes out of the kitchen is to his satisfaction. To be honest, he's not very friendly anyway. Kind of gives me the perception of a snob. He will walk right by you and not even acknowledge you or thank you for stopping in. I had high hopes for this place but it's not like it's owned by Bobby Flay. The one thing that never changed, the front of the house. Great waitstaff and bar staff. That was the only consistency. I don't often feel obligated to post Yelp Reviews unless the experience was that great or that awful. I ordered Caesar Salad and Fried Calamari. I wanted to try out a new place as that's what I like to do and saw this available on Uber Eats so I gave it a shot. My salad came untossed (no mention online whether it was tossed or on the side). They did give me a larger than average cup of caesar dressing, but it was really runny / thin which is often the opposite of what it's supposed to be. The dressing in my opinion was no good, but was at least edible. Next I tried the "Fried Calamari". They did positively have the fried / crispy value, but everything else about them was a mess. They all tasted stale along with them being (I think) not even calamari but just crisps filled with nothing. I was extremely disappointed with them that this was the first time I've ever not finished a meal in nearly 4 years. In addition to the calamari being nonexistent crisps, the 'Garlic Aioli' sauce was just thrown in the container on top of the lemons and calamari put on top of it. This made all of the ones that were touching it, both gross (as I strongly dislike the sauce) and soggy. I just want to save others from having to experience such a terrible calamari dish (especially one costing 18$) and a sub par caesar not even tossed. read more

Good pizza but slow service. The pizza is excellent if your looking for brick oven pizza. The crust is crispy, done perfectly. They have regular pizza or Roman style (no sauce). Unfortunately the service is slow which hopefully they'll grow out of. I came on a weekday and it took a while to be acknowledged and seated. Then it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to greet us. We had a shaved fennel salad that was excellent but our pizzas took about an hour to come out. It seemed the kitchen had trouble getting food out simultaneously for the same table, as I saw many disappointed people waiting for their table-mates' food to arrive. Maybe they need a bigger oven. Overall, this good, hip pizza place is a welcome addition to the Town of Newburgh and I hope with time they'll have a better flow. read more

I had the worst customer service experience I've ever had here. I called to give feedback about my recent visits and their menu item "Egg Slut sandwich." As I was talking to the very friendly and receptive hostess (telling her I enjoyed my meal when I visited, but that was upset about the name of their brunch menu item) a man abruptly got on the phone and yelled over and over "I don't give a shit what you have a problem with, if you don't like my menu just don't come back here." He reiterated this over and over and then hung up on me refusing to tell me his name. The food was definitely not worth the offensive experience both on the menu and on the phone. Regardless of the origin of the name of the sandwich, they should at least be willing to have a conversation with someone about the impact of something they chose to name in honor of someone else's sandwich. They're losing a large amount of local supporters for how they've handled this. read more

Called to place a large order and the waitress didn't think to tell me that the pizzas I was ordering with multiple toppings to feed a group were personal pizzas (priced the same as a normal pizza however @ $12+). They don't do actual pizza. The salad had lots of the one thing I asked not to be on it, wrong dressing, mediocre wings and insufficient staff resulting in lengthy waits for all of the food. A hidden gem! I came here on a random Friday night to stop for a quick bite of pizza. We ordered the kids the chicken tenders and a kids pizza (HUGE!). Seriously, if you have two young children one meal is good for both, the portion of the kids pie is an adults personal pie. The chicken tenders and fries was an entire platter.
