Came here for Mother's Day dinner with a large group so we were seated in a smaller side room. Then just yesterday we came again with our granddaughter and ate in the main room. Food and service were excellent both times, despite how busy they were. Granddaughter always likes their miso soup, fried rice and chicken with broccoli. We love their sushi and sashimi. Everything always tastes freshly made, served at appropriate temperatures and are visually appealing. (Last visited 3/5/2023.) In Charlotte, NC for my best friend's wedding and after all of the festivities we met up with my wife's family for a dinner before we flew out! We chose Fusion Bowl because it had some good reviews and was in a good location! Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is in a small strip mall in a small plaza, but what's most important is that there's plenty of parking! Lol. Inside was really beautiful. It had a huge, open floor plan with like, a modern, upscale Asian feel to it. The ceilings were high, there was plenty of natural light and plenty of space! Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we didn't have any complaints that I can remember. Food: For my lunch I went with some sort of shrimp dish. I'm perusing the online menu and I can't seem to match my picture with anything. Lol. However, I had sauteed shrimp, with vegetables and fried rice. You know, I tried to keep it healthy, but my food was delicious. Nothing crazy, but you won't be upset. Value: SUPER affordable. You won't break the budget here at all. In conclusion... This was our first time at this venue. We were seated quickly in the bar even though other tables were empty. We both had egg drop/wonton soup. It was very good. My husband ordered mushoo pork. I got the salty pepper grilled jumbo shrimp on snow peas and it was so fresh and juicy. The flavors were great, I didn't think I was gonna like the fresh pepper combined with the snow peas but this was light and filling at the same time. So this place I would say is pretty Americanized meaning the food is cater to a specific group. Their spicy is not spicy at all. I do like that they both have Chinese and sushi stuff on their menu although it's not authentic Chinese food. The service is good. Very nice and attentive staff. I usually do take out but when we dine, we have good service. The ambiance is nice. Pretty inside and pretty busy too. They share parking with other businesses so you can find parking easily. We have dined here many times and ejoyed it each time. Today I wanted to give a good review, but tonights meal fell terribly short. The egg drop soup and hot n sour soups were very good. Came in at lunch on a Wednesday. Started with a wonton soup. The broth was delicious, especially on a rainy day, but the wonton was a tad over cooked. The vegetable roll was decent. Wasn't piping hot or have the extra crisp factor that I'm used to with other Asian style restaurants. The mustard sauce was great, not sure of the red sauce beside it, but it was ick. Finished with the Thai Basil Beef which I'd give a 9/10. The fried rice was dry, so I requested the shrimp sauce and that changed the game. All of it priced well. Fusion Bowl is a great place to go for Asian food. Cute atmosphere, Great sushi, love their stir fry and bento boxes are a great value. The only thing I get annoyed with is their stingy attitude when asking for yum yum sauce For take out. They charge too much for a very small portion of yum yum sauce and often forget the sauce that should come with the meal. Enjoyed an awesome lunch at FB. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. We tried the bang bang shrimp with fried rice and the spring roll. The shrimp was cooked well, and the sauce was not overwhelming with spice which I appreciated and it had just the right amount of sweetness and tang. Went to catch up with a friend and ended up at Asian Fusion Bowl. Being a Saturday night at prime dinner rush, we had to wait for around 20 minutes, so I'd recommend planning ahead and reserving a table. The menu has a wide variety of Asian cuisine, and I had a hard time choosing, but I was really craving pad Thai. I also decided to get Thai tea since I'd never had that before. The pad Thai lived up to my expectations and was awesome. I've been to other restaurants that asked me for a spice level, and they did not, but I also didn't choose to ask for additional spice. The Thai tea being something I've never tried was tasty. It was reminiscent of milk tea to me with a slight difference in the flavor profile (less milky maybe?). I have a plate of leftovers from what I got, as the portion was generous. I'll have to suggest going back there with my friend another time and try other items on the menu. read more

The sushi is awesome. Much better and fresher than surrounding restaurants. Calamari app is way good and they always have fresh oil in the vats for a light crispy taste. The bar is a great place to sit at and eat but don't come and take up all the seats on my day! Family owned and they are always there and friendly fast and courteous.
