I called them. They did not cold call me.. We worked out exactly what was needed and the price, all went great for a while.... I received the design drawings, made some minor changes and approved them. Financing company sent paperwork and all good.. Got a call from the crew saying they were about 3 weeks out but that will be enough time to get all the material in.(that struck me as strange, solar company that installs is waiting 3 weeks for material ???) oh well that's fine.. 3 weeks latter got a call from the install crew stating everything is ready and would be on site Monday morning. Monday morning 8:00 am a crew of 6 showed up, and by Friday I had a 36 panel system installed,(changed from 33 panels to 36 due to replacing skylights) I was told the the 3 extra panels were not a big deal but would have to be redrawn for city approval. (An extra week or so) Ok,, this is where it starts going down hill. #1 when the equipment was ordered the company pulled a draw off of my loan so that started the interest on the loan. So for a month I have had to pay the interest on the equipment, now the job is finished and they pulled the rest of the money, now I'm paying interest on all the loan..(NOW THE DO SAY THAT THERE ARE NO PAYMENTS FOR 6 MONTHS) but they don't tell you that you are stilling paying the interest. #2 install was completed by March 1, 2024 it is now June 2 2024 Fusion has yet to call me and tell me where we are at in the process. I have taken it upon myself to call the city and find the they reviewed it but there was an error so it went back for redesign and now it will be reviewed again. The short and long of this is 1. DO NOT APPROVE/ ANY MONEY OR HAVE THE WORK EVEN STARTED UNTILL ALL (ALL) PERMITS HAVE CLEARED The workmen ship looks to be good and the products are name brand so I think whenever it is turned on I will have a good system. I strongly urge everyone to run far away from Fusion Power. My complaint below has bene submitted to the BBB and Arizona Attorney General. I have tried to resolve my issues directly with them to no avail. I am filing this formal complaint against Fusion Power (also operating as Vector Energy) for multiple instances of misrepresentation, deceptive business practices, product deficiencies, and potential discrimination related to my solar energy system installation. Since entering into an agreement with this company, I have experienced financial harm, emotional distress, and a complete failure by Fusion Power to deliver on the promises made to me during the sales process. Despite assurances of significant cost savings, modern equipment, and professional service, my experience has been the opposite. My electricity bills have increased dramatically, my system appears to underperform, and I have been subjected to misleading sales tactics, lack of transparency, and dismissive treatment when seeking resolution. I also have reason to believe I was targeted and taken advantage of based on my gender and limited knowledge of the solar industry. The following points outline, in detail, the issues I have encountered and the significant impact this experience has had on both my finances and mental well-being. 1. Failure to Deliver Solar Productivity: I was promised substantial solar productivity (60-70%), yet my bills have only increased since installation. I've verified that my energy usage is half of what it was last year, so my bills should be significantly lower than initially quoted. 2. Outdated Technology: I was sold solar panels with technology that is at least two years old. This is deeply concerning, as I expected state-of-the-art systems to maximize my energy savings. 3. High-Pressure Sales Tactics: I attempted to cancel the contract before the panels were installed, only to receive a threatening email stating I would owe $8,000 in restocking fees. This is illegal and a clear example of high-pressure sales tactics. 4. Inappropriate Panel Selection: Fusion used Canadian 395 cells, but your salesperson opted for off-brand cells, which are less efficient and do not provide the expected solar generation. 5. I strongly suspect that I was targeted due to my gender and lack of familiarity with the solar industry. This experience has been both financially and emotionally draining, and the stress it has caused me is too much to handle. 6. During this process, my husband requested an annulment of our marriage, which has added to my mental state. 7. Luke Ward (salesperson) and Raphael Turner (salesperson in training). Fusion Power terminated Luke Ward, and I was told the company would not take on any more legal cases resulting from Luke Ward's solar sales. Raphael Turner came to my home and spent several hours with me rebuilding the system and admitted there was an apparent problem with what was promised versus what was delivered. They oversold me on significant savings and delivered 100$ of dollars more in my electric costs. 9. I was told I would not have a solar bill for 6 months while I was adjusting to having solar. I was not told that during that time, I would accrue over $1800.00 in interest on that loan. 10. Historically my SRP bills from 2023 to 2024, I have used a significantly less amount of KW in 2024 compared to 2023 yet my bills are 100$ of dollars more. 12. I do not recommend this company. While they installed the panels and Tesla modules, the Salesman said we would have things that we didn't get, remote monitoring. The company said too bad and charged $800 per module. Then found out they didn't install enough or right and had to come back out. I went outside and saw what they did and l am shocked! They ran a cat5 low volt cable from inside the 400amp main panel to one of the Tesla modules. It is just laying on the ground and not even long enough. Meet with a sales rep in mid to late July. I was told 4-6 week timeline to complete everything. I currently still do not have the system turned on and its mid-November. Multiple issues along the path as well. Was told one design and then had to change it cause the company does not offer the 1st anymore (shouldn't the rep know this? While they did a great job installing most of the equipment, and the equipment that I have is working great, they have never finished the job in the 14 months since the initial installation was completed in Dec 2024. I have called the phone numbers several times and had to select the Sales option just to speak to someone, but then they told me that they would let the service manager know I called. The details are lengthy and probably boring, but it turned out that the team was unable to overcome attic barriers to complete the installation inside our garage. Due to age and the recent rains (leaking inside the house) we decided to replace our 25 year old concrete tile roof on our single story 2700 sqft home. Problem was we have 24 solar panels (micro inverters) and all the associated hardware and wiring on the roof, which all need to be removed. We got four quotes from reputable roofing companies, which ranged from $17k to $31k for the roof only. They all said they could remove and reset the solar system, with several sub contracting that part of the job and two of them doing it in-house. The solar pricing ranged from $6k to $10k, in addition to the cost of the roof. Our original solar contract with Fusion Power provided for a one time removal and reset at no cost as part of the original deal. Turns out Fusion also does roofing, so even though their roofing arm was relatively new and unknown, we went with them after they finally responded to my inquiries (there's a story with all that as well). Their roofing quote was not the least expensive (middle of the pack), but they did do the solar work for no cost as part of the original contract, so the whole job cost us about $21k. That included all the new tiles (80), wood trim (15 feet), decking (1 sheet), soffit vents (2), and what painting was required (I provided the paint. Nothing was added to the original quote. They came out and removed all the solar panels and hardware, and two days later the roofing crew came and replaced the roof in three days. A couple days later the solar crew came back and reset all the hardware and panels and got it all working again. The roof looks pretty good, although I had a punch list of minor things I could see from the ground that needed fixing/adjustment, and all that was taken care of in a timely manner. They worked hard, did a good job and cleaned up well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Communication with the Fusion roofing guy (Robert) was responsive, and he did what he said he would do throughout the project.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He did all the coordinating with the solar side of the Fusion, which was a good thing. I just had to talk with him to get everything done - one single point of contact. Robert is new to Fusion and tried really hard to make everything happen and make sure we were satisfied in the end, which so far seems to be the case. Of course, it hasn't rained for a couple weeks, but it will. Oddly enough, about the time the solar panels were removed the circuit to one our HVAC units fried, along with a small transformer and another relay in the ground unit, and we initially thought it might have been caused by something related to the solar system removal, but it now appears that wasn't the case. Thought I would share my experience to date with Fusion Power. For context I live in Arizona, it does not rain often but when it does it often pours. Several months ago after a rain all the power breakers with the solar system popped. I contacted support to let them know this was the second occurrence and something is wrong. Fusion began by telling everything was fine and my internet is down (the first go to "excuse". I needed to explain multiple times the system was working again because I reset the breakers. I expresses my concerns with service and explained when I purchased the system I was told the system was monitored an issues were quickly addressed. I was told, "we do what we can but have a lot of systems to monitor". That upset me because I don't care about there inability to staff properly. Ryan the sales rep was very persistent on selling me power back up batteries in order to cover my current solar panels labor warranty. Ryan made it seem that adding these batteries would save us a reasonable amount of money and that the process was done in about a month. All of the information given to me was totally miss leading and I had to call the company several times to find out what was going on. No one explain that once you start the install my solar panels would be off for over a month, which cost me with SRP. Some of the installers were very unprofessional and careless leaving urine bottles in my attic and trash. One of my outer vents was bent and the wiring of the install was done wrong. They access my attic through an opening they made on my roof and now I have leak they say its not their fault. Bad service with contacting you after you fall for their trap, never available to answer, calls drop after a certain wait time.. so don't bother waiting cus the call will drop anyway. Representatives clearly don't care about their job or put the effort in when you call, don't bother calling in for a supervisor they won't be available and if they are you will get the voicemail and never get a call back. They are the most irresponsible company I have ever worked with and now I regret not appreciating my normal light bill. They will leave you of the job of following with permits back and forth because they won't do it.. after I call another place to ask if the permit was sent, I am told it has been. But never receive and update or progress from Fusion Power. My biggest regret since I decided to buy a home. Don't do the same mistake. read more

Fusion Power Please be aware that Fusionpower is engaging in predatory practices on the elderly. They used paperwork that showed the lender would be deducting $210.14 per month on a supposed $33,000 dollar system, declaring that he would get a government subsidy of $20,000 to buy down the loan to $13,000, and telling my 83 year old father that the $210.14 is the most he'll ever pay for the system plus a nearly non-existent electric bill because the system would offset it. I have a copy of that paper. The salesman then sticks a contract in front of my father that shows a finance amount of $63,357.86 with finance charge of $37,641.94 for a grand total of $100,999.80 for the system. This also shows 16 monthly (interest only) payments of $210.14 Then, 281 monthly payments of $346.24. That alone is more than their electric bill has ever been just for the solar system payments. Then a one time payment of $344.12 Fusionpower is saying that the salesman was a subcontractor and that he is not responding to them either. My problem is why did they accept the contract as written if they suggest the salesman was the one who took advantage of my father? His latest bill with his solar was $258.18 That combined with the standard payment is $604.42 That's double the highest bill he's ever had. On top of this it looks like the subsidies he is likely to receive is going to be a small fraction of what was suggested by the Fusion Power representative. If anyone has had occasion to do business with this company I would appreciate feedback and any advice available. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Denise in office is great[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] however I'm completely dissatisfied and disappointed with Fusion Power and the story I was told and promised from the salesman when they sold me a bill of goods that I would not have any more bills except a nominal amount in winter, otherwise I would be producing an excess each month and getting credit that would be used to offset any additional charges that occur during winter months. in the beginning I was receiving anywhere from 18.00 to 250.00 per month and now I have to pay from 18.00 to 100.00 per month. The sad part is that I have referred Fusion to several neighbors of which several went ahead and purchased and now I have to apologize to them for referring them as they are now in the same situation, not happy having been sold and talked into this situation. Yet, Fusion is now saying if I purchase a battery backup, it will eliminate the problem and get me back to what I was originally told that I will no longer have bills from APS at a cost of 75k minus the credits etc but still amounts to me having to pay more money and over time, the expense will turn positive, should I live long enough to see it. I WAS a potential customer the moment their salesman Grant rang my doorbell even though I have a NO SOLICITING sign on my door. They start off saying they aren't there to sell anything and that's why they can ignore the "NO SOLICITING" signs. The truth is they want you to buy their solar panels. I will never do business with a company that does not respect the privacy of individuals. If they don't respect your privacy at your front door, what makes you think they won't sell off your information? Do not ever hire a company with dishonorable business practices that completely ignores your privacy. PS: This is the fifth time I've posted this review. People have the right to know about the business practices of companies like this and how they completely ignore your requests to be left alone. Unfortunately we are still waiting for our solar panels to be turned on, FOUR MONTHS after installation! We have had poor communication with the company regarding what the delays are. They are able to give us updates, when WE reach out to them. It unfortunately feels as though we have been forgotten. Our unfortunate timeline: - Panels were installed - APS came to check the work but said the gas company need to move a part farther away from the system. - gas company comes out and looks at the layout and states APS is incorrect since if he moved the part, it would be CLOSER to the system **** and here is where I start to get frustrated... why is Fusion Power hearing about something that needs to be moved from APS and not their own installation crew?! And on top of it APS was wrong! - our sales rep blamed this all on APS stalling however this has created distrust as it feels as if Fusion Power is in on it since this has stalled the whole project. They entice you with the promise of taking off the panels for free one time within 7 years if you need to replace your roof... but at this point it's not worth it! We had high hopes when we decided to go with Fusion Power Solar Company for my solar installation, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. We were told the entire process would take 4-6 weeks, but here we are, 6 months later still waiting for our system to function properly. Communication has been a major issue as well as failed inspections. I often found myself having to follow up multiple times just to get updates on my installation or changes that needed to be made after failed inspections. When we did get a response, they were vague and unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated and in the dark about what was happening with our system. To make matters worse, once the installation was finally completed, the system did or does not work properly which is so disheartening after such a long wait. Additionally, there were holes in the exterior wall and a leak in the roof that were most likely caused during the installation process. These issues have compounded our frustration. The lack of accountability and urgency to resolve these problems have been incredibly frustrating. We have tried to be patient and understanding but this has been quite the experience. Therefore, we CANNOT recommend Fusion Power Solar Company based on our experience. The false promises, poor communication, and failure to deliver on their commitments have left us feeling let down and questioning our decision to go solar. But if you are looking to go solar, I would look elsewhere. read more

If I could give this company negative starts I would!!!!! Sales rep comes to our door last March to tell us about the company he work for (Fusion Power) & how we could save a lot of money with the ever increasing electric bills from SRP.He scheduled us an appt with a sales person (Peyton) who happens to be his brother. We were also told that a couple of our neighbors had solar panels installed by them recently as well. Peyton comes to our home shows us all these computer graphs, benefits of solar, and cost reductions that we would have once our solar panels are installed. Peyton also explains that the unit costs $26000 & we won't have to lay out a single penny as they arrange financing through Credit Human with our payments being $228/mo. We would be entitled to a tax rebate of $13,000 that could be used to reduce the loan in half and also reducing our monthly payment to $150/mo. Once the loan is paid off we would own the equipment they install. Our SRP bills would also be reduced especially in the summer months when they are the highest. As everything seemed to sound good we agreed and was asked to sign documents with tiny print for the install as well as the loan. Everything went along as they promised with the install and setting up the system to be functioning. A few weeks ago, I received my income tax papers only to find I was given a tax credit of $2300, no where near any $13,000 as Peyton explained. I then contacted Fusion Power questioning this big difference and the man on the phone was not only disrespectful he turned around and said "I have no idea what your tax liability is. When I asked to speak to someone that could help me he replied "I'm not a tax accountant". With regards to the loan taken out for us through Credit Human I had contacted them to find out the duration of the loan and was given a payment schedule for the duration of the loan. To our surprise this loan will end in 2044!!!!! Had this been specified when we're were being told the supposed benefits of going solar taking out a 19 year loan would definitely been the one thing that would have a NO GO with moving forward. To be misinformed & misled by a company with regards to getting a sale is just downright wrong and immoral! Honestly I don't know how the people that work for this company providing incomplete & wrong information sleep at night especially with the way our economy is nowadays. I recently purchased a battery so that I could run on battery power during some of thy more expensive times of the day. They shut my solar off in March, they installed the battery, then proceeded to take 3 months to get the various components (including smoke detectors) set up. I failed my 1st inspection because they mounted the breaker box too high. Failed my second inspection because they had left holes which could cause water intrusion, as well as leaving a 5"x5" hole in my drywall. They came out, patched the hole, but neglected the areas that needed to be closed for water intrusion. The smoke detectors that they installed were installed incorrectly as I've only had them for 2-3 months and have already had to replace the batteries twice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Now, I have emailed, texted and called without a return call. This is going on 3 weeks without contact and I still don't know when my system can be turned on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've spent more money without my solar on ac this summer (avg $250/mo) since it's been offline for 6 months. Will say that 3 of the owners, Tyler, Jarrod and Mr Skousen are top notch to work for and work with. Was there ,3 years and due to age and health was let go unjustly that hurt but I got over it. Stay away from this company to work for. They'll use you, abuse you then terminate Kudos to Jared it's like I said. The owners are all a class act. It's just too bad that I was let go above another that list his job soon thereafter due to alcohol use. I looked forward each and every day to go do my job and anything else asked of me. It was a pleasure going to work there each day. I'd clockout and stay additional time to make my day a pleasurable one but others didn't appreciate it and forced me to not stay after clocking out I was also told by my immediate supervisors I'd be returning but again I was lied to and friendships ended after many years. read more
