I was quite impressed with Fustini's. We wandered into the second-story shop after visiting the Ann Arbor farmer's market and it immediately became the find of the day. Fustini's is chain of stores spread across Michigan but you'd never know based on the service. The wide selection of crazy oils and vinegars is magnificent (pomegranate vinegar? Tuscan oil? Major win.) Prices per bottle range from about $9 to $18 and you'll have a helluva time picking because the wine/vinegar sommelier ( there is no better term) will blow your mind with the possible combinations. A must stop in A2 for all foodies. I could sit in the place tasting and comparing their vinegars all day. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

Super nice selection of oils. Staff is always super helpful. Stop by for that last minute gift for the holidays. Great stacking stuffers.

I love it! Another great success, using the Blood Orange Oil! Used it in my Italian Cream Cake, for the Legion Italian Dinner!

I can never go back to buying (probably adulterated) supermarket extra virgin olive oil.

They carry some zingermans products and their catering is very convenient around the holidays. They carry Christmas trees in the winter and lots of herbs, flowers, etc outside in the warmer months. I *love* their quiches. They have become a holiday staple in our family on Christmas and Thanksgiving morning. Lately I've been coming for postpartum prepared meals because I know their ingredients are decent. Everything is a bit pricey, but I know the stuff is quality and we've had such a good experience with their catering department. That we will be shopping here for a long time.

Only place in town I could find rhubarb the last week of March - Michigan grown! I was surprised but delighted to browse their extensive selection of craft beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages. This is definitely a good place to go if you're looking for something fun to try, or to bring something unique to a dinner party etc. They also have meat, dairy, a lot of ready-mades, and a nice looking salad bar. It is overall more expensive than other grocery stories, but presumably shopping here is supporting a local business and local farmers.

I stopped by here for the first time this week - I had a work appointment at Zingerman's Bakehouse,…read moreand figured I'd try out the Creamery and the candy store next door too. I am a big Swiss fan so I asked if they had any - I ended up buying a small piece of one, which ended up being tasty, and also an aged cheddar they had, called Prairie Farms - they had a sample of it and it was DELICIOUS, which swayed me to try it. They also sell tiny little charcuterie boxes here and even big things of gelato. Everything looked really good. Staff is also very friendly - the girl behind the counter is a recent UM grad so we talked about that, I'm a 2009 alum. $6-7 for a small block of cheese is pretty standard for gourmet cheeses too, so I didn't think it was super pricey (although they did have some for $15+). I definitely want to stop by here again the next time I'm in A2.

After a disappointing lunch in Ypsi, we turned to Yelp for something sweet…read more How 'bout Gelato? Head to Zingerman's Creamery! Quickly. This is an excellent stop for all things dairy. Mostly, cheese for me. Today I picked up: six ounces of a very creamy Goat cream cheese, a smoked salmon cream cheese and a Goat feta. Since we had a cooler, I also bought a half pound of Detroit Street Brick cheese. It begins as a dense, crumbly cheese with a twist of lemon and ages into more of a savory, spicy flavour. The star of the show is the gelato. I say the best is the Coffee flavour. Closely followed by the Peanut Butter chocolate and the Dark chocolate. Today we split a Cherry Cream Cheese Gelato. It really hit the spot. The prices are a bit steep. You're paying for quality, not quantity. Always an education talking cheese with these folks! 08/24

They also carry baked goods and various other prepared foods from local businesses like Zingerman's and Avalon. They do $6 sushi rolls after 8pm every night as well as some excellent deals on baked goods (50% off). The sushi is usually $11-15 a roll so the discount is great. It's not the best sushi in the world but it's very good for grocery quality. Otherwise, they (unsurprisingly) mostly carry organic and small-business brands. They have good sales sometimes but even then you can expect prices to be about 25% higher than what you'd see at a "normal" grocery store. Overall it's a fun place to go if you want high quality products but it's not really a feasible substitute for everyday shopping due to the prices. Will go back for the sushi at a minimum!

It is off Plymouth and right off of 23, so it was super convenient to hit up on the way to my friend's house. It's a bit pricey, but you would expect for a smaller specialty store than a big box store. Before going to this market I used to think my friend was a decent cook and then I was able to see how the food was always prepared and packaged perfectly to go right onto a sheet for the oven. The food quality of the salmon or chicken or whatever was always good. Makes for a good appearance of a good cook to even the most basic of cooks (Nuke kings and queens).
