Thankfully the food is delicious, because the service was atrocious. And I was just picking up a to-go order. I walked in and stood by the host stand a few minutes while multiple employees looked at me and walked in the back or around the corner. Finally someone asked if I had been helped and she informed me to go to the bar and the bartender will help me. After a few minutes he arrived from the back and had an attitude while I picked up my order. Like I was bothering him or something. The restaurant was empty so clearly they weren't busy. Overall a bad experience, but the food was good so that helped. But most likely won't return if service like this is the norm. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Modesto... The servers are amazing. I always have a good experience when I eat here... The restaurant is under new ownership as of November so if you've eaten there in the past I would suggest revisiting the restaurant sure you will have a good experience. Love the food, ambiance, and service. 5 out of 5 stars. This place has easily become our top favorite neck to neck with it's neighboring restaurant around the corner. Love their Cocotinis which are to die for and Chocolatini! Idk if that's how you even spell the drinks but they are amazing. Our usual is their fries and chicken Cesar salad which is fresh and good. I was at the double tree for a business event and found this place within walking distance. It was less than a 5 minute walk and it was a great choice. I tried the crispy calamari linguini which was very delicious. I had a glass of wine as well. The server was attentive as it was only party of 1 and the patio was perfect to sit and people watch while I ate dinner. read more

The front of the house was terrible! We have show tickets and were an hour and forty minutes early. The front of the house hold us approx 20 minutes wait. 40 minutes later still not sat and empty tables. We were forced to leave so the kids could eat before the show. We always go here before shows and this is the first time we received such terrible treatment and will seriously reconsider coming back. My favorite dish Firecracker Pork Fusili. It was a fun pasta dish with house-made habanero sauce (which was da bomb!). We also tried the Brussel Sprouts (good flavor, outer layer should be more crispy) and the Firecracker Chicken Lettuce Wrap (a very fusion-y dish, reminds me of lettuce wrap appetizer at Chinese restaurant). In my years of travels there have been just a few restaurants that have become must stops if I am ever in the area again. They are places that were so enjoyable that you still talk about them hours, days, months and even years afterwards. This restaurant is one of them. The food, service and ambiance all came together for a perfect meal experience. There is creative cooking going on here that deserves attention. The menu has many choices that appear to be of their own creation. Nothing out of the back of a Sysco truck here. Stellar service was provided by Jessica who gets mucho points for offering the simple syrup solution to satisfy my wife's craving for some sweet tea like we always have down South. Simple syrup dissolves in unsweetened iced tea unlike sugar which mostly settles to the bottom of the glass. We started with their bacon wrapped dates appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed that. It is one of a few "unusual " foods that my wife will eat and I enjoyed watching her enjoy them. The Firecracker Pork Fusilli came highly recommended and was comfort food heaven. Tender pork with a rich sauce that made me wish I had ordered the full plate instead of the smaller lunch special portion. There was a little heat to tantalize the mouth, but not enough to send me looking for a glass of milk. My wife really enjoyed her pink shrimp linguine and we finished our meal with the classic creme brûlée for dessert and enjoyed that as well. I look forward to a return visit. read more

I've been waiting to leave this review since our experience here was so awkward. My weekly night out with my Mother that we do. We decided on Fuzio since we had just came back from church in Ceres therefore we stopped here. I have known about this restaurant for years, I remember coming here when it first opened, but do not remember anything. We ordered drinks first off, not sure what they were, but the drinks were delicious and presentation of the drinks were fun, no complaints there. Appetizers we ordered the Brie like dip, it was a little TOO rich for my taste, I wasn't the biggest fan of it, and it did require a lot of salt for it to even be edible. We also ordered the pretzel, my Mom is a big kid if it's on the menu she is going to order a pretzel, and she loved this one. The abundant amount of salt on it, made it WONDERFUL. My Mother had some sort of pasta, NOT SURE what it was, anytime she orders food with seafood in it, since I can't eat it, I don't pay attention. But she did say it was very flavorful, she loved it. One of my favorite meals is Chicken Parmesan, and when I saw this on the menu was very excited but that's where it ended. I have OCD I eat my food in certain shapes, and as I was getting to the center of my Chicken Parmesan I noticed a jelly like consistency, and I paused and cut around the last piece I had left, and when I looked down the inside of the chicken was RAW, I showed my Mother thinking I was crazy and she told me to stop eating. She actually forbid me from finishing my food LOL. Our waitress came over asking how the food was, I informed her it was delicious, until I discovered the center was raw. This is where it became awkward, I had already basically finished my entire meal so it wasn't a big deal. I mean I had, had more than enough and it was delicious. But this waitress had the audacity to tell me "Well they pound the chicken to prepare the meal" I informed her that I was aware, but that it was still raw. I know raw chicken. She kind of got in a way offended, and I told her it was fine, I just wanted my check; because she wanted to then argue about how it was prepared, I didn't ask that, I just told you the center was raw, and can you give me my check. So she went to get the check, and when she brought it back she said that she applied a discount to our tab because "That happens all the time, so we didn't want to inconvenience you" first of all, WHAT? I looked at my Mother and she repeated it back to the waitress, and she said it again and said that's why she offered the discount. Which I refused, I didn't want a discount, you asked how the meal was I told you, I wasn't asking for monies to be taken off of the check. I wanted to be a big fan of this place, because I do have friends who frequent here, but this experience, is enough for me, I'll never come back. It was just odd. read more

Amazing food that can't be found in any other places in Modesto. Tuscan creamy chicken and their flatbread pizza...and their fried calamari is amazing. I will admit some drinks taste different each time I try them (sometimes loaded with alcohol, and that's only thing you taste) but the watermelon cooler (add tajin) never fails. The service is usually pretty good. Even though their is a lack of consistency with some drinks , I give it a 5/5 because of their food and service. read more

My fiancé, mother, and I were served by Gina, who went above and beyond in delivering exceptional service, while ensuring that my fiancé and I could modify our entrees as being vegan friendly. Food was great! Service was terrible. Arrived last Sunday for a reservation at 3pm - seated right away. Once the server got our order we didn't see him again until he came by asking if we could pay out because his shift was ending. We had to ask for server spoons, an additional plate, from whoever delivered the food. We asked to see a dessert menu (we were celebrating a birthday). We had to ask for someone to clear the plates - she couldn't get them all and said she'd be back - she never came back. Once we ordered the dessert, the server came back asking if we could pay out now that we ordered dessert. He just took our credit cards and never brought a check - all before we even got dessert. read more
