French baguette with butter and jam
    Alex P.

L'attalier is a gem of a spot that hasn't disappointed since I started coming when I was visiting. The toasted baguette is my favorite thing! The food is always beautifully plated and served in a traditional French fashion. I love coming here and make it a point to recommend it to people who I know are passing through.

I ordered the wrong item so this truly is a good review haha! The croque monsier was very tasty and came out pipping hot. For the fresh ingredients I feel like the price point wasn't bad at all, this was also my first time trying it! The staff were super nice and attentive. The place was cute and the chef was exactly who you'd imagine in a French cafe! I will say it was extremely hot and stuffy inside, it's probably better to sit outside. Great spot!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for L'Atelier cos I've been here for brunch every time I'm in Palm Springs. The place is small and parking isn't that easy (especially on weekends), so definitely come early. They also sell out of pastries and sweets/desserts pretty quickly, so early is key if you want the full selection. My faves: the ham or salmon croissant, the fruit tarts, and the quiche. Price wise it's similar to LA. Owner & staff were friendly but food did take a while to arrive as it was a full house.

L'Atelier Café serves some of the best French food in Palm Springs--the French Onion Soup is world-class and the Eggs Benedict was a hit! The service wasn't quite as impressive as the meal itself, feeling a bit detached, but the flavors coming out of the kitchen more than made up for it. A great 2025 stop for a delicious, high-quality brunch.

Love this French Cafe in downtown Palm Springs. The Service and Food is phenomenal. It's been 6 years since our last visit, check hours of operation because we have missed visiting because of their closed days. The Food is AMAZING. New owners for the last 4 years

Good food. Staff was so friendly and sweet. Ate breakfast there and it was good. It wasn't memorable but it was fine. The decor is adorable and the place is very quaint. My son had a sandwich and unfortunately the bread was hard.

Brunch was so tasty and filling. We were recommended the platters or benedicts, so my partner got the Mixed Platter and I got the Salmon Benedict. We also loved the ratatouille, a vegetable stew. Everything tasted fresh and we were very satisfied. Parking can be challenging as the lot is small (we walked from our hotel this time). Service was friendly and as we were walking out the chef or owner handed us a madeleine on the house to finish the meal.

Delicious, authentic food from start to finish, and they accommodated our big party quickly. Highly recommend the blueberry tart and the ham crepe. Get ready for an upbeat environment, almost as if you're in Leon!

Amazing local find! Very nice café with outdoor seating in the plaza. Their quiches and pastries are homemade. To die for! Classic French Cafe menu. We had friendly and attentive service by Steve and we enjoyed talking with the owner Jose. We enjoyed an incredible Blueberry Almond Tarte. Will be visiting this gem again soon.

TL:DR don't listen to Simon A., this place is delicious, and the staff are so friendly! Highly recommend We came here for brunch, and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious and everything was so reasonably priced. We were a party of 4. All of us ordered a drink and a main dish (2 of us having an extra side) and we paid roughly $80. The pain au chocolat was delicious and was definitely baked that morning. I also ordered the prosciutto panini and it was served with a side salad. It was absolutely delicious. I also had it with a hot chocolate and that was so yummy! The owners were working as the wait staff and it was so endearing that they came over to ask if everything turned out well, and it absolutely was.

    Cafe latte- perfection!

Back again at this magnificent restaurant. Everything is so delicious and I can't say enough about the baguettes. The service is fantastic, the coffee is perfect. Can't wait to go back. You have to go early unless you want to wait. It's a small space and sidewalk tables are quaint. The platter is the Esther.

4/5: amazing food! Croissant hits different. Maybe it's the vibe maybe it's the food. Maybe it's both. Love the casual breakfast. Service 5/5 Would come back again!

    Salmon Benedict Croissant ($17)

1.5/5 stars Came here for brunch on a Sunday, and we didn't have to wait. I got the salmon benedict croissant ($17), and my bf got the workshop eggs and a croissant. Unfortunately, the salmon benedict croissant was horrendous. The poached eggs were grainy. The croissant was tasteless and soggy. The salmon was solid, but the pieces were small. The side salad was very small. I tried my boyfriend's workshop eggs, and I thought that was good The inside ambiance is cute, but old-looking. The chairs were run-down. The water glass given to me was very old, and the edges were jagged. Service was very quick. If you pay with credit card, there's a $1 charge. Overall, would not recommend eating here

However, we did not realize the emphasis on a Jewish menu until after we were seated . . . lox, blech, gefilte fish, yuk . . . so we kindly apologized and were about to stand up and leave. A very nice and understanding waiter began rattling off more traditional food item suggestions that certainly sounded good. I am glad he did. Their food is fresh, plentiful when it comes to serving size and ingredients (see the attached photo of the sandwich I got) and their service is prompt and attentive. We did not get any baked goods, but they also sure looked good as we walked by the display on the way out. It has a comfortable, open and well lit atmosphere. We are very glad we decided to stay.

It was close to end of day so I was quick to browse the offerings before placing my sandwich order. Ended up getting a Caprese and Parma on focaccia. The staff seemed preoccupied with Cleaning but did their best to get my sandwich order out fast. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but this is my first time. I asked the lady behind the counter for a popular favorite recommendation and she seemed confused and just said everything was good. Two sandwiches around $40 so I was hoping for something great. Unfortunately we agreed that the taste was good, but nothing amazing and probably not what we were expecting for the price. Everything fell just a little bit flat. It wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. I ended up drizzling balsamic vinegar on the Caprese at home since they only put olive oil and a little bit of pesto on the bread and the whole thing just felt lacking ever so slightly. The shop itself was clean and well kept and had a lot to offer so I still recommend stopping by and browsing for Italian goodies. Just not my favorite sandwich spot. Maybe we will try something else another day or just stick to the pasta!

It's about a 12min drive west of I-10, located in a small business park strip mall. It's absolutely worth the diversion. They have a small section with groceries, and a larger area with refrigerated goods. I tried El Cubano (no tomato, no cabbage), Potato Salad, and Key Lime Parfait. El Cubano was actually delicious. Their thinly sliced and seasoned seitan was perfect, as was the accompanying sauces and toasted bread. I'd order this on repeat if I lived nearby. I was surprised by how great the potato salad was. It had the perfect mayo/mustard balance, which is extremely difficult to find. I need a gallon of this. The key lime parfait was ok. I expected more (in terms of flavor, not quantity), but it was not bad. I've just had much better so I wouldn't order it again. I'd be willing to try a different dessert next time. It was gluten free so that's a plus! There were many other things on the menu that caught my eye, but I only have one tummy. If we'd had a cooler I would've grabbed some tuNo salad, Egg-y salad, smoked chick'n & pasta, and CTK tempeh pâté from their refrigerated section, because everything looked delicious. The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage.
