I'm not sure what happened in the past to give this place bad reviews, but this is my experience:…read more I have a large Australian mountain doodle puppy. He is amazing, but I got him during cancer treatment and he has not been properly trained yet. I know, I know, bad dog mama! He's loved and amazing and will be trained soon! Anyway, jump to my trip to San Diego a few weeks ago and we decided to stay at a resort for a few nights after staying at my mom's (where we usually stay every few months). We were excited because it's a pet friendly resort, but it turns out my doggo is not so resort friendly. In a panic I googled dog boarding thinking that there was no way I would find something so last minute for Memorial Day. Then I came across this company right down the street. Vinny accepted doggo and was very friendly and calming. I felt at ease instantly leaving him there for the night. Plus it was very budget friendly. We will be using this service any time we are in town. I feel my dog is safe and treated like family.

That was the last I heard from her. I was worried something happened to her but now I think she is just ignoring my texts and calls. She never said anything. I can only assume my dog was pulling her as he is a big dog and I could tell he was testing the limits with his new walking buddy. He is a good boy though and the vanishing of the dog walker Shannon was unwarranted. Shannon i would like my keys back as well as a refund for the last two days of service. As you know my knee is injured due to a bike accident and I am on crutches hence the need for the dog walker right now. I would have hired you for at least a few more weeks of service and maybe longer if business remains as consuming as it has. Well good luck with yours. Please contact me in regards to returning the keys and the money for 4 unrendered walks.

So I started giving all my business to Petco on Garnet. There are a couple of totally awesome people there that really know their stuff and I will always think of them fondly, however things change. My kitty developed problems that Petco couldn't help with and I was forced to give Noah's another try. Things have indeed changed. Alex (and her husband) are the awesome owners of Noah's now, and if you have any problems Alex has solutions or will research them deeply on your behalf. Raw/fresh food diet, limited ingredient diet, supplements and treats... they have all the good stuff. Shasta has also helped me greatly with products to alleviate discomfort of my sweet little kitty-baby and aid in her nourishment and need for variety. I sing their praises now to everyone and am so grateful to have such a caring and supportive team of animal-loving individuals so close to where I live. They have helped me as much as, if not more than, my sweet girl's doctors. I kid you not. Noah's is awesome.

As soon as you walk-in into the establishment, you just feel the positive vibes all around! We love to get bully sticks, sausages and other treats! Everything at Noah's is good quality so we feel really confident in anything we get for our beloved Luna! They have a great selection of treats, toys and miscellaneous! I would recommend Noah's to any pet parent who wants nothing but the best for their fur baby!

Update: We took my dog to Paw Alley in Clairemont a few…read moreweeks later to fix up the horrible hair cut. She texts me ( see the attached texts ) saying that she "did a good job" and it wasn't nice that I wrote a bad review. She did a HORRIBLE job, didn't listen to our requests, and has the audacity to criticize me. You can literally see in my photos how uneven the hair cut, that we didn't ask for, was. This salon is more like a chop shop. Very mediocre. We had called this groomer because she was located near by and we were hoping someone could take him on short notice. We had explicitly asked to keep our Westies hair long b/c he had recently had a shave and we are taking a trip to the east coat in the middle of winter. She had said about 1 or 2 hours. 3 hours later and my boyfriend picks up our dog and his hair is very short. We told her EXPLICITLY not to cut his hair short. His hair is also choppy. She said she was gonna trim the belly hair, which was fine, but she ended up taking almost all of his hair off!!! He doesn't even smell good. Usually my dog returns smelling wonderful, hair soft, and beautifully white. This was definitely not the case. I do not recommend this groomer. Now I have to pray my dog will grow his hair fast enough to be warm in the snow or else I'll have to force him to wear a sweater.

She has always taken such incredible care of them and I trust her completely. A few years ago my husband got really good pet insurance, but it was tied to a specific veterinary clinic, and we were honestly heartbroken because we loved Turquoise so much. Even with that change, for anything serious I still take one of our pups, Foxy, to Dr. Reed because that is how much I value her expertise and care. Recently something scary happened and Foxy could barely walk, along with a few other concerning symptoms. Our insurance vet was closed, and Turquoise was able to get us in quickly. Dr. Reed was not available that day so I was a little nervous, but we were scheduled with Dr. G. I should not have been surprised, but the experience was amazing. He was kind, thorough, and I could truly feel how much he cared about my pup. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood all of our options. Hands down, this clinic is the best. From the front desk to the doctors, you can feel the compassion and integrity. If you have trust issues when it comes to veterinary care, I completely understand, and I would absolutely recommend giving Turquoise Animal Hospital a try. They genuinely care, and that peace of mind is priceless. I will continue to give them my business because the love and care they show my pups means everything to me.

Not the cheapest vet in town but a solid choice.
