UPDATE: I finally got in touch with the manager and he refunded us for 6 of the 8 tacos we ordered, as we declined a gift card. I do appreciate that. Oof, unfortunately, I will not support this establishment again. The last time my partner and I visited, we didn't have the greatest experience but we decided to give them another shot when we were craving tacos. We wanted to support someone other than Tijuana Flats and also wanted some different tacos. I called in an order and my partner went to pick it up. When he arrived, half of the order had not been put through. He essentially had to wait for the other half of our order to get prepared while the first half sat and got soggy. We ordered four (what were supposed to be back bean and cheese) tacos and they literally had ONLY BLACK BEAN ON THEM. They were otherwise entirely empty. Their tacos are supposed to have lettuce, tomato, cream sauce, etc. Not only were they empty (literally only black bean), they were completely soggy and fell apart immediately. I also order a couple fish tacos which say on their menu (as all other tacos) that they come on corn tortillas. I am trying to cut down on gluten and received FLOUR. I tried to call them, they put me on hold for 25 minutes and when I hung up and tried to call back, they wouldn't answer my call. I tried to call 5 more times, no answer whatsoever. Sometimes you just need a good local spot. Fuzzy's doesn't disappoint! First off - chips and guac and queso is unbeatable. They also happen to have great margaritas. Also an extensive Tex-mex menu that is extremely customizable for all your taco/burrito/quesadilla needs. read more

Multiple issues with "Taco Shop": Woman taking orders was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by everything. I ordered just chips and salsa, got my pager and waited over ten minutes, finally went to the service counter and was told someone else took my order. They quickly "made" the order, scooped up chips and put a container on a tray. The salsa was flavorless and definitely wasn't fresh, most likely came from a can. Chipotle is a much better option, not sure how this chain is surviving. read more

Sitting here with my sister. There are no prices on the mobile menue. I ordered a a draft beer, it was warm. So I let the bartender know, he said ok And walked away. 10 mins later, he came up and offered a bottle instead. When I went back up to the bar to order he wouldnt write anything down and then continued to ask us what we wanted 4 times while he was putting the order in from across the bar. Got our food but I ended up with incorrect protein on one of my three tacos, the ground beef taco tasted like dog food. Or maybe think "taco johns" ground beef- but less flavor. my sister ordered the chicken enchiladas and the chicken was mushy and tasted like bland tuna with some flour paste that was colored to look like cheese sauce on top. All in all the meal was disappointing. When the server/bartender came up and asked how everything was we were honest and said "really average" and explained. He said "oh really", shrugged, and walked away. When we were able to cash out we realized that we were charged almost a dollar for the 1oz container of green salsa we asked for for the tacos and another for the same size of sour cream. Called a week ahead to make a reservation, and when we arrived there wasn't anything set up for us. They said they knew we were coming and was "there for the phone call" which is great and everything but it didn't seem like they were prepared for us at all. No tables set up. No assistance. When they asked one of the workers to set up tables, he looked like he was maybe 18 years old and this is his first job, he gave an attitude and made a huge deal about having to do it. I recently visited Fuzzy's Taco Shop for dinner while in Orlando on a business trip, and I really enjoyed it! I was staying with two co-workers, and we didn't want to eat at our hotel, so we searched Yelp for nearby restaurants and landed on Fuzzy's. It looked good online, so we decided to check it out. We arrived in our Lyft and there was ample parking/space to drop-off, so we had no issues there. When you enter the restaurant you stand in line to order, and there were several people in front of us, so we had plenty of time to make our choices from the large menu. I opted for a chicken quesadilla with a side of queso, and a margarita with an added tequila shot, for only $1! They had tons of flavors, but I opted for traditional lime. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we grabbed a table outside. Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the quesadilla, and the margarita had a definite kick without being too much. And the queso was really good. One of my co-workers got an order of chips and queso for the table, and for some reason my side of queso was different than what came with her order, and we all agreed we enjoyed my side serving best. If I find myself in this area again I would definitely dine at Fuzzy's Taco Shop! If you're in the area and looking for a lunch or dinner spot, or even just a place to grab a very reasonably priced margarita, then Fuzzy's is great! read more

Not a repeat place at all! Grossly understaffed and over priced. We waited 10 minutes for one of their 2 bartenders to break away from a packed bar, there was only one person in front of us. We waited another 15 minutes for food that is equivalent to polio tropical. It is completely self service, you start at the cash register and get a pager and pick up your food from a window. 2 tacos plates (a taco plate is 2 tacos and 2 sides) and 2 drinks was $22.00 I had the fish taco and brisket taco with yellow mix- mex rice and black beans, all lacked flavor. So this place is comfortable and friendly. Stopped in to get a fish taco and ended up getting a fish taco, shrimp taco which came with 2 sides . I got the lime-cilantro rice and the black beans. This was a good choice as the crunchy tacos lettuce and tomato fell out along with the feta cheese but mixed with the rice and beans was very tasty. Visited Fuzzy's for Saturday lunch four weeks ago and found the restaurant very empty, so I'm assuming it is more popular during the week days with office workers, as the restaurant is located near a lot of office parks/buildings. They have an extensive menu of tacos, burritos, salads, sandwiches, quesadillas and all day breakfast, and a lot of seating. The staff was friendly and service was good. I ordered the combo plate, and chose the borracho beans and the cilantro lime rice as my side. The meal was bland and forgettable. The taste of the beans did not stick out, and the cilantro lime rice barely tasted of anything. The tacos were okay. Fuzzy's needs to step it's game up if it wants to be relevant, especially as a number of taco shops, Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants continue to pop up around Central Florida. read more

Fuzzy Taco is my favorite taco spot by far. When I am on this side of town and I get a craving for something quick and great tasting. Fuzzy's is where we go. The service is great, the line is moderately​ long at times. but the your wait time won't be. We usually get the beef nachos and the grilled fish tacos, which are just awesome! The Queso sauce for the nachos is no good though, very bland and watered down. Today we got the Shredded Chicken Quesadilla and the Shrimp Tempura Burrito to go. We tore up the Quesadilla immediately, it was that good. The shrimp tempura burrito was just ok, not good, not bad, but we won't order it again. After weeks of anticipation, driving by this location pretty much every day... and it's just a-ok... almost meh...2.5 stars. This space has been empty for years. I can still remember when the spot used to be a Big Boy restaurant. Like many people who work or live near Fuzzy's was anxious for its opening. But for me, it doesn't feel like anything different from other fast casual Tex-Mex places (Ti *cough juana *cough flats *cough). The meats seemed a little bland. I've tried the shredded chicken and the brisket in the form of nachos. The queso which is pretty good on its own, didn't really help the nachos. The meat to chips ratio wasn't what i was expecting. More meat please, if that's ok. Tried a fish taco and it was ok. Like a frozen fish stick with veggies between hard taco shells. My lunchmates got tacos and tortas (taco meat and veggies between sandwich bun) and they both said it was ok. The line was long and rather slow, but steady moving. Which is expected considering the lunch hour and the hype of the new business... also ok. If this place wasn't for its convenient location to my workplace, I probably wouldn't be going there as often. Maybe after work, I'll have to try out some bar selections. They have a good size bar as well for this taco shop. After you order you receive a buzzer and once your food is ready you pick it up from the window. They are generally pretty quick when it comes to this as well. Along with taco Tuesday's if you buy their forever cup you get .99 refills for life. Its already 2018 yet they are still my favourite place for tacos. The menu has expanded, they added new food and breakfast taco is available anytime. The service is constantly fast, the cashiers, servers, bartenders, even the cooks- yes chatted with them few times while picking up my food to go- have super cool personality. I've been going there countless times since they opened in 2016. The Taco tuesday is really a great deal but even though its not tuesday my husband and I would still go when we're in the area. I am also following their facebook page so I can see the events that they have. We downloaded their app as well and used points that paid our dinner twice! I hope they expand and open a branch in College Park so it will be just in my neighborhood! I am giving this place a 5 star because of the coolness of the place, the deliciousness of tacos , the affordability of the food , the service of the staff and it has been consistent! This place has been declining to the point now no one from work will even go for lunch. * The Food Just not as good or seems as fresh as when the place first opened. The Queso is flavorless. You would be better of just microwaving Velveeta. * You bus your own table and must put your silverware in a bucket full of disgusting, nasty food water and your plates all over the tub of other plates. The worst part is this disgusting mess is all in view as you eat. Glad to know my silverware sits in that mess for hours. * They give you a disgusting buzzer that tons of people have touched and then expect to you to eat food like Tacos and Nachos with your hands. Came here twice the first time was a week before Cinco De Mayo & again on Cinco De Mayo both times we had so much fun. Cinco de mayo we won a bottle of tequila the only thing i didn't like was they kind of made us drink it there . Something about FL law so they took the top off & we ended up giving it away ( pouring random ppl shots ) because we had already had allot to drink & had been there most of the day . Top shelf tacos, world class customer service, and a clever name make Fuzzy's the standard for Tex-Mex in Central Florida. I've gone here several times and I usually order the soft shelled ground beef tacos on flour tortillas. HOT FIRE! HOT F'N FIRE! Dave (the bar manager) is the shit!
