5 stars for some feast tacos. I love tacos so I enjoy stumbling upon new spots that serve up deliciousness in a hard shell. Fuzzy's definitely hits the spot with their menu offering. I only ordered two tacos since I had just had a snack a little bit before coming here. Regardless, I went with the shredded chicken and spicy pork--hard shell of course. This delicious feast was pretty filling and each taco was about $2.99. My wife ordered the chicken fajita taco and the shrimp tempura--both with the corn soft shell--and she also really enjoyed them. The restaurant is pretty self-serve so it has a laid back vibe, but I really appreciated that aspect of it. You order at the front, grab a buzzer, find your seats and then grab your food right from the kitchen service counter once it's ready. The food came shockingly quick even though the restaurant was fairly busy. I definitely plan on coming back soon. We drove from Lake Mary just to try it and I'd do it again for these tacos! read more

Atleast the Bloody Mary was on point - and for that, I would consider going back. Ordered delivery, they completely messed up my order and left stuff out of my order that I paid for.. when I called to ask for a solution they told me to drive over to the store (completely defeating the purpose of my delivery that they charged a $4 fee for) and they would give me the rest of my food. We looked at alternates and decided on this location based on my husband's experience at the UCF location and were dismally disappointed. 1. Looked like the inside of a garage. 2. We had to serve ourselves, like a Macdonalds. And, they provide plastic silverware! 3. The food was subpar. I asked for a refund on the cheese enchilada because it was terrible. I left half my burrito because it was inedible. 4. Not clean. 5. Tasted like they threw together components in the hope that their customer would not know the difference. Poor culinary service and a definite nose thumb to the consumer. 6. They was nothing good about the food or restaurant to contribute to this review. There are usually good things to say. There is one good thing: 1. The server brought the Marguerita to the table. It was their only saving grace. Save your money for less over- priced food, that is inauthentic. Not a bad place for tacos when you have that craving. I wasn't impressed with mine, two tempura fish tacos on crispy shells. Shells were more rubbery than crispy. I have had better food at other Fuzzy locations. At least counter service was quick since I was on my lunch hour. After trying this place twice, I feel I can give it a solid review. Four stars for fast service, fun atmosphere and decent food. The first time I came here I ordered the grilled shrimp taco and queso dip with chips. My husband ordered the two Tacos meal (pork and chicken). The queso dip was pretty good and I really enjoyed my shrimp taco, the combination of flavors in the tacos worked very well and was so tasty. My husband wasn't too crazy about his meat tacos as they were a bit watery and made the tacos soggy. Our second visit was a lot better. We ordered the chicken nachos, shrimp taco, cheese enchilada a burrito. My son devoured the cheesy chicken nachos. My shrimp taco once again was a hit and my husband enjoyed his burrito. The Cilantro lime rice is a tasty side as well. The enchilada was okay. Overall, the food was above satisfactory. It's probably not the most authentic Mexican food, but it's pretty good for the price and fast service, especially when you're just looking for a quick bite to eat that is a notch up from Taco Bell. A group of us at work hadn't bought in lunch and since this was a new place that had opened up fairly close to my workplace, a bunch of us decided to go here to give it a try. First impression were very positive - it's a great open space and awesome menu options esp if you are vegan or vegetarian. I also checked and the fish was Alaskan Pollock which is sustainable (woo-hoo!) and not the mahi-mahi which is mostly the norm in the US. Staff were very friendly and cost was pretty reasonable and after payment, you got a buzzer and picked up the meal from the window. Foodwise, my group all thought the food was decent - nothing really stood out but the comment that was made at the table was it was a step up from Chick-Fila!! I personally got the Taco plate ($9 rounded up) which let me try the soft veggie taco (really bland, not enough cheese either), and the crispy fish taco (tempura style and the best thing on my plate). The price also included x2 sides along with the tacos and I chose Fried Potatoes (these were similar to Potato Bravas, but this version had some bitterness like the oil used for the potatoes was old) and the Borracho Beans (beans in beer and bacon - great concept but taste fell short). I was expecting fresh salsa to be available but no option there - just x2 bottles of a hot sauce in the table. I did not go in with high expectations. Fuzzy's is conveniently located but even I got tired of the double entendre of it all - never mind the name of the place, the ever-present "Eat Me" postings - get it, right? No, but get IT right? I digress. The pic I've posted is - hands down - the saddest little Baja Shrimp Taco I have ever seen. I ordered more food because I frickin' had to. The blue frozen margarita wasn't bad but meh. The grilled veggie quesadilla was good but damn, brother, can you spare a bit more sour cream? I'm sure for an after hours drink spot with friends this place will work. 3.5 Stars I didn't give it 4 stars since I've only been once So I'll err on the side of caution. This place took over a property that's been vacant for years (used to be an old Shoney's Big Boy). With a name like Fuzzy's Taco Shop, let's just say I wasn't expecting a whole lot. My friend and I were already taking bets on how long this place would last. When we got there we couldn't find a place to park which seems exciting but it isn't a huge lot. However when we walked in we were happily surprised! There was a line and the place was jumpin'. There was a mixed crowd of young and old. Now, we got excited! Oberall, it was a great place with high energy, good food and drinks, pleasant staff and a full liquor bar! You order right when you walk in and they give you a pager. When you're pager goes off, you go pick up your food at the kitchen window. The food was cheaper than I expected and was a welcome surprise. They gave us our frozen margarita, a vodka on the rocks, and our order of chips & guacomole. The guac was wonderful! Better than one of my faves (Tijuana Flats) even. NYC quality I would say. About ten minutes later our buzzer went off and we picked up the food. We ordered a grilled fish taco and a pulled chicken burrito. The taco was flavorful and again we were surprised at this place. Already looking forward to coming back. We brought the burrito home so while it was good it would t be fair to rate it. There is a bar with TVs (no volume though) where you can seat a handful of people inside and outside too! Just a note, we have nothing to say about the bar or the quality of their drinks, this is strictly about the food. Imagining we are in a Kansas mall food court in 1987 is the only way to enjoy what we ate, it really brings you there. The chips are made out of something other than corn- perhaps wheat flour is mixed in? It's disturbing. The salsa is bland but has variously sized chunks of extremely hot peppers in it, unevenly distributed, so you are either bored or burning your entire mouth/throat. If it's possible for someone to be traumatized by eating salsa, this will do it. We've eaten here about three or four times due to proximity. We no longer do so and advise people to avoid Fuzzy's, unless they know something we do not know since a lot of people really seem to like this place. read more

The food was not good. The queso tasted like thick milk and was cold. The beef inside the enchilada didn't have any seasoning - maybe had a little salt. The shredded brisket must be out of a can. Not sure if was beef at all. The steak on the taco was not good and VERY low grade. The sopapias were not even fried all the way and had very little cinnamon on them. Kinda gross. Their app completely messed up my order (I selected fish but it switched it to shrimp and I didn't realize Bc ummm what apps do that?) and I didn't realize it til I got in the car and took a bite. I knew it was off so I took another bite and knew something was wrong. I immediately went back inside to the Altamonte shop & Bc I had taken a bite (of the tiny taco - the size shocked me, but I was going to roll with it), the girl @ the counter will only replace one. And honestly the way that she slowly and intently checked the second taco offended me GREATLY. It was almost as if she thought I took the shrimp out of it or something? Idk. I'm African American, so maybe that was part of it and I HATE saying that Bc I don't use that lightly, but that is 100% what it felt like. This is my first time here and I will not be returning. I pass this place several times a week and finally decided to give it a try. First, the parking lot was packed at 7p. I figured this to be a good thing but also consider the parking lot is kind of small. The restaurant is clean and very colorful. The bar is impressive for this level of restaurant. It's probably the best thing going for it. The staff were friendly. I ordered the chicken and beef fajita plate with cilantro-lime white rice and refried beans. What I ordered was OK. The portion size is great. The meat doesn't seem terribly over processed (think Taco Bell). It's NOT authentic so don't come here looking for that or expect to be sorely disappointed. I don't think I'm in love with the fajita seasoning. Would I eat here again? Yes, I want to go back and try the margaritas but I will order something else. So I'm not going to lie. I passed Fuzzy's many times and didn't go in because of the Yelp reviews. But, a coworker wanted to go and I decided it didn't make sense not to try it so I did and I wasn't disappointed. Shame on me for not trying it sooner. First thing that's important is to set your expectations right. This is basically one step up from Tex-Mex fast food and the quality is on that level. That being said, with the right expectations I think the food is tasty and the restaurant itself is enjoyable. When you walk in it is reminiscent of a Señor Frogs or something. There's a queue line, a counter to order at, and then behind that a huge bar with premade frozen drinks and lots of other party style drink specials - think large drinks in fish bowls. So you order, get a buzzer, grab a fountain drink, sit down and wait for the buzzer to go off. Once it does you claim your food at a huge window and dig in. The first time I went I got a chicken and a shrimp taco with rice and black beans. I got no dairy because I'm not able to eat that right now and corn tortillas cause I also can't have gluten. I also got chips and guacamole. All of it was tasty. Again, it is a step up from crappy bar food so for that quality it was enjoyable. There's hot sauces on the table that I also enjoyed. One thing I did think was weird was that my friend's salad came in a bowl that looked like a dog food bowl. She also got some meat on the salad that looked like dog food so her meal was 100% unappetizing looking. She said it tasted good. I couldn't get past the dog food part. I went back about a week later to try their all day breakfast. I was intrigued by the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros on the menu. I ordered chicken chilaquiles with corn tortillas and no cheese. I got potatoes and black beans on the side. I might have been more impressed with this meal than the first....but I also ate at about 1:00 and it was the first time I had eaten all day so that might have played a role also. I put some chilaquile mix (eggs, pico, chicken, salsa, corn tortilla strips that are scrambled together) and then extra salsa, some hot sauce, and black beans on each tortilla. It was pretty delicious! The potatoes were alright. Standard fried potatoes that were amped up when I added hot sauce. So overall I'd go back again. I liked their breakfast a lot and since they serve it all day that's pretty cool. They have some specials like cheap tacos on Tuesdays and happy hour like every day so there's a lot of deals to be had. I was going between 3 and 4 stars. I wanted to go maybe 3.5 or 3.75 but that's not a thing. I don't feel they warrant a solid 4 but I'm rounding up because why not. read more

Cute set up! Our family ordered a bit of everything. Queso w/chorizo was okay, a bit bland. My taco had bacon, avocado, and shrimp. It sounded better than it was. Bacon was burnt and overpowering. My hubby enjoyed his taco and burrito. One of my kids had the chicken quesadillas, that was win! My other daughter got the ground beef tacos, she said they were decent but nothing special. We ordered churros, they were terrible! Maybe something with the oil they're fried in. Overall, cute concept. $60 for a family of 4. Order at the counter, pick up at the window. Food at the Orlando Fuzzy's Taco is NOT what I expected. The Chicken, EXTREMELY salty, the icing for Desert came out in a frozen container straight from the freezer. salad, instead of having fresh tortillas on top had crushed, stale old taco shell. We have eaten at the Fuzzy's in Brandon, Florida and the bar is set high! Fresh, Fresh Fresh, amazing food. The employees of the store when we walked in at 8:30 were running a hug vacuum and rolling and carrying the dirty mats. We had a hard time finding a table that was clean, only about 5 people eating the restaurant. Bugs on some tables and food crumbs on seats and tables of others. We were disappointed to say the least. After having the Fuzzy's Taco in Brandon that has always been incredible, this one in Orlando is a huge let down! read more

Largely uninspired and forgettable. When you can't even serve decent chips and queso, you really are more like taco bell, than a taco shop. Actually, that is almost a knock on Taco Bell (I have literally had better food there). The queso is weird and not very flavorful except for the over-processed salty cheese (I use that term very loosely as I'm sure there isn't any cheese in this). More Velveeta or something from a can if I had to guess. My wife had a couple fish tacos and said there was zero flavor in any of the food, comparable to a nice mouthful of packing peanuts. Lastly, we shared some churros. Almost no sugar on them, they were definitely warm and had a lovely aftertaste of grease. Without sugar, what else did you think we would taste? Well, we tried it and in the future we will stick with San Jose's or Amigos. Fuzzy needs some work. I have no clue why it was busy or what these other people are talking about. Go find a nice Mexican restaurant (heck, go to Moe's or Chipotle) and you'll have a better meal. read more

I've been in the area for a few weeks for work and have tried several different restaurants but keep going back to Fuzzy's. The food here is great, the service and staff are even better. Matt behind the bar seems to know everyone that comes in and makes sure everyone gets their orders quickly. He is very friendly and great to talk to while you wait for your order. David is very energetic just like Matt he remember all the customers that come in. He is very upbeat and personable. I have yet to have anything off the menu that I didn't like, but best of all the staff welcome everyone in and make you feel like you're part of the family. I can't wait to go back. read more
