My wife and I were out running Saturday morning errands and it was time to stop for breakfast. My wife suggested breakfast tacos and Fuzzy's was right across the street from where we were. We had both eaten at Fuzzy's many times for lunch and dinner but had never stopped in for breakfast. We both order a couple of breakfast tacos each. and we were pleasantly surprised. Ordered online and when I arrived I was told it would be at least an hour before my order would be ready but most likely longer and the cashier couldn't help me because everyone was busy. I called the next morning and I was told by the manager that I would need to call back to check on a possible refund. I never received any food, called the restaurant 22 times and got no answer. When I arrived to get my food there was a crowd of people outside. This restaurant has taken my money and I'm sure money from others and is showing no urgency to get it back. I've been coming to this place for a while now when I'm in town. I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have some of the best quick Tex-Mex in town. Plenty of locations. My favorite has to be the Special Ground Beef Tacos. Large plate filled with goodness (special ground beef, queso, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, feta, and garlic sauce). The garlic sauce is out of this world. They should put it on everything. Burritos and tacos are also very good. Queso and guacamole are a must. Tried breakfast today for the first time. They serve it all day which is great, because you never know when you'll crave it. Had the Chilaquiles - Beef... It was really good. Hope you are hungry because it is a lot of food. The Chilaquiles is two scrambled eggs, ground beef, shredded cheese, tortillas strips, and pico de gallo. It comes with Seasoned fried potatoes, refried beans, salsa verde and two flour tortillas. With me being new to Texas, I accidentally placed my order at the incorrect location. I attempted to cancel the order in the app but the app told me to call the store directly, so I did so 3 minutes after placing. I called the store and the cashier told me they couldn't transfer nor cancel the order. After speaking with his manager, he told the their corporate office would call me and they'll refund me. With no call within 10 minutes, I googled the corporate number and was told that the order is able to to canceled or transferred In the app by the store. I filed a complaint against the store with corporate and they said the store will call me and give me a full refund. By the time I got a call from the store owner I had arrived, placed the order at the correct location and received my food. The store's owner called me and offered a partial refund because the food was made and he would lose out on money. After being told at the correct location that the order could've easily been transferred or cancelled by the store, I refused the partial refund and demanded a full refund. After the owner spoke with my wife, he said he would call us back and let us know about the refund. 30 minutes later and still no call. With my many years of customer service, this is by far the worst customer service EVER! If I could give zero stars I would. GO TO THE STORE ON ABRAMS, their food and service is better. read more

As someone who loves the original Fuzzy's, this location is a constant disappointment to me. I have visited numerous times and they have rubbed me the wrong way on more than one occasion. One time I waited nearly 10 minutes for my food and when I went to ask where my food was, I was told that some orders take longer than others. What? It takes 10 minutes to make two tacos? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Another time a friend and I went to watch the TCU game. We couldn't hear the game so my friend asked an employee to turn the volume up so we could hear. They said they didn't have a license so we had to watch the game on mute. Once again...what? Beyond ridiculous. The food at this location is subpar as well. The nachos and tacos are decent but definitely not the best Fuzzy's I've ever had. Honestly, the only reason I keep coming back is because 1) I love Fuzzy's, 2) Fort Worth is too far away, 3) I work close to this location and it's a good place to meet up after work. Went to Fuzzy's for the first time after my husband had been curious about it. We ordered fajita chicken tacos, beef tacos and a Maui taco, they were the worst tacos I've ever had. The Maui taco was fried way too hard. The chicken was dry as was the beef which was also tough. The tacos were of poor quality. We also ordered chips and queso and the queso's flavor was lackluster. While we were there many seemed to enjoy the drinks but with a name like "Fuzzy's Tacos" you would expect the tacos to be good. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

They may have new management, which has definitely improved their food quality, but the restaurant is filthy. They need to power wash both entrances and patio area. Three strikes and you're out, Fuzzy's. Not long after my first lackluster visit, I tried them for breakfast and ordered migas. They were not good AND had bits of eggshell in them. I guess I should have been glad they used real eggs? Anyway... Fast forward about three years, I'm commenting on Facebook how much I'd love to see the Fuzzy's right near my house get replaced with a Torchy's (a girl can dream, right) and one of my besties mentions that she loooooves the shrimp tempura tacos and queso at Fuzzy's. Hmm. I didn't order those. So for about a month I eyed Fuzzy's suspiciously every time I drove by, wondering if there was actually something delicious hiding inside. Today, I resolved to find out. My skeptical husband and I went for lunch and I ordered a shrimp tempura taco and the chips & queso. He ordered a beef fajita burrito. I'll start by saying that he ended up picking the meat out of the burrito and throwing the rest out. It was reportedly so fully of sour cream and lettuce as to be rather unappetizing, and the meat itself had way too much liquid smoke flavor. Regarding my selections, the better of the two was the shrimp tempura taco, which was decent, but not particularly exciting. It had a tiny bit of sauce in the middle but most was dry lettuce, cheese and a few pieces of decent fried shrimp (not really tempura, more like popcorn shrimp). Some Asian slaw or something might have been better. It was a step up from a Taco Bell selection but not even in the same universe as Torchy's or Velvet or even a good street taco like Danny's or La Banqueta. The chips and queso were also pretty meh. I've had worse queso, but I've had much better. It was on the bland side of acceptable. Good texture though. The chips weren't the freshest and I hated the seasoning they sprinkle on (luckily they only sprinkle it in one big dump that hits about 3 of the 300 chips in the basket, so it was easily avoided). I did not finish the queso, which for me is a rarity. So... Fuzzy's, you are dead to me. I shall no longer harbor curiosity as to what I might be missing, but shall instead be mourning that you are taking up a nice location that could be hosting a Torchy's instead. *moment of silence* read more

Small outdoor seating section when nicer weather makes that a sensible option. My B-I-L and I shared an order chips & queso. LOVE that they have great queso and chips!! The chips have the fuzzy dust, I ask for extra, always.... But this was the first time to this location, great, fast and friendly service. I got the Chicken Fajitas they were alright, not too flavorful but still good and filling. I tried the potatoes for the first time and they were good to along with the rice, because I do not like ANY beans... YUCK! My boyfriend tried the Burrito Loco talk about HUGE! My family went last night with a friend and her family total of 7 people. We got there during rush hour so we understood they were busy. My daughter wanted sweet tea so she walked up to the counter and asked the young ladies if they could make some they told her it would be about 20 to 30 minutes. I told her they are busy so once it slows down they would make it. We were halfway through the meal and no customers were at the counter it had slowed down so my daughter goes back up and asks them if they could start making the sweet tea now. They explained they were out of tea bags and wouldn't get a new shipment till Monday. She came back to the table and explains they were out of tea bags. As we are finishing up and getting ready to leave we saw one of the young ladies go over and start making tea. The gentleman we were with went up and asked why when my daughter had asked twice they never made any tea and lied saying they were out of tea bags. She shrugged it off like it was no big deal so he asked her for a new cup so she could get what we paid for she said no. They refused her a new cup. This location's cleanliness won't impress you. I always get the impression that there's an old musty mop propped up in a corner somewhere. That being said, the food is pretty much on par with other Fuzzy's locations. The veggie burrito is amazing and won't leave you wanting for a portion of meat--it's heavy and fat. The garlic sauce combined with the veggies conjures up a smile with every bite. Also good is the quesadilla. Again, the garlic sauce is the star of the show. What little meat is on the salad is so overcooked & dried out I cannot eat it. Fuzzy's Taco is staring me in the face, that is if you believe a store can just STARE. I think, "Give them a try, then you can review them on Yelp." So here goes. If you haven't been inside a Fuzzy's, you'll wonder why they would put corrugated metal roofing on the inside of a store. Maybe their decorator was looking for a beach shack kind of vibe. Maybe it was just cheaper than wallpaper. But I'm not here for the decor, I'm here for a good breakfast taco, or two, or three, as it turned out. My choice is between a very big one, called a breakfast burrito $5 or a regular taco sized one at $2 each. Call your own fillings with the usual bacon, chorizo, potatoes, or shrimp added to your egg and cheese. They've also got Huevos Rancheros, Migas and Chilaquiles for breakfast at $6 each. This was a To Go order, so I grabbed my bag and came home to find to my surprise, amazement, horror and chagrin, THERE WAS NO SALSA in the bag! Some joker put in a couple of plastic tubs of Fuzzy's Butt Burning Sauce, instead. (They sell this stuff for $3.75 + Tax at the stores). My wife turned her tear-stained face to me in disbelief. Whoa Boy, was I in big trouble! My wife thinks eggs without salsa is like biscuits without butter and/or gravy. Salt without pepper. Bagels without cream cheese. Peanut butter without jelly. How can I convey the enormity of this disaster? Pearl Harbor, the Federal Budget, the Black Plague - these were annoyances by comparison. It seems one has to ASK for salsa, or they don't include it with you order! Can you believe these people! Where are they from - New York City?!! Fortunately, some Pace was found in the cabinet, and the breakfast tacos were duly consumed and found to be superior in every way to the afore-mentioned MacShack and Taco Crap-bana. I have frequented this fuzzies a lot over the past few years because I live down the street. The business recently has been busy and chaotic so I understand small mistakes, but over the span of the past few months the food has slowly degraded. I am allergic to gluten (makes me sick and bloated, not deadly allergic) so I like to avoid bread. The past 4-5 orders have been wrong, wether I order corn tortillas and get flower, or I ask for grilled shrimp and get tempura. Today I went and the service, as always is good. The staff is attentive and works hard. But the food sat for quite a while, I ended up with flower tortillas again and the nachos I ordered were stale and cold.
