yall. idk what i expected but it was not this. first of all the people running the cash register are also bartenders thus the process for ordering food takes like 5 minutes per order. insanely long wait and the place was wholly understaffed. but fine, alright, the food came out quick, i got the birria. the tortillas are clearly the same kind you could buy at safeway. the taco tastes like when el pollo loco had birria for a limited time. and the consomme tasted like chef boyardee sauce. all this to say its not exactly authentic. the prices were very reasonable tho so they get a star for that read more

Fuzzys! The tacos are always on point and the beer is always cold! Ended up getting a shredded chicken and a Brisket taco along with a plate add with black beans and Cilantro lime rice. I came here for the first time, after hearing a lot about the margaritas. I can see why! They're fantastic and so many different options. I got a strawberry margarita, which are blended. Not only was it tasty, but it was like liquid courage. There was a snafu with my order...I ordered a burrito bowl, got a salad bowl twice with the wrong dressing. I was pretty hangry, but held it together and asked for a refund. The staff was so kind and not only gave me a refund, but also remade my order so I got my burrito bowl too! I know how stressful food service can be and they handled everything with grace. The burrito bowl was very good; I had to modify it to be vegan so if you are plant based, there's not a lot of options here. However, if you need a stiff margarita, this is your place! read more

The food is really good almost every time. Service? Eeeeeh questionable. This was the second time we've gone in and had to stand and wait for longer than 5 minutes. We weren't acknowledged once until a girl coming in to start her shift saw us. There was another girl ahead of us and she had been standing there for at least 10 minutes. Then, our food was sitting in the window for about 10 minutes before my husband had to go up and grab it himself without being prompted to do so. This was a good bar serving average tacos, as opposed to a good taco joint with an average bar. Personally, I'd prefer the latter. I visited this location for National Taco Day. It was moderately occupied at mid-afternoon. My five taco choices were: shredded chicken, shredded beef, carnitas, fried avocado, and grilled veggies. Most food items were halfway to being bland except "fried avocado," which stood out. I dug its contrasting texture. Of course, the tacos weren't "street style" but were like "Tex-Mex" (I didn't expect them to be any authentic, per obvious restaurant theme/design). I found the two "Butt Burnin'" hot sauces to be "butt mildly warming" at most--yes, even the habanero one. Lastly, there was a mistake on my order: only flour tortillas were used, whereas I'd requested both flour and corn kinds. My conclusion was it'd only be worthwhile to visit Fuzzy's on National Taco Day or Taco Tuesday--even then, once to try should suffice. OR as a bar hangout. If not, other independent taco shops in the city would be more deserving. read more

Third time ordering 3 double taco plates to go.. asked for two orders rice, no beans..same problem,only got one order rice at best. Every time this happens so it seems to be what is given and today I measured the rice 1/2 cup at best on each Order. Spoke to Dwayne and said I don't understand what it continues but you've lost a $40 to go order we liked grabbing on the go because you are so chinsey on the rice servings and when you don't get the beans you should get double rice servings. The only reason we are giving a one star review is to get someone at this location to read this. 6 weeks ago we went for breakfast. I am on crutches and was trapped in the women's bathroom for awhile because the door is extremely heavy and sticks. I spoke to manager after another guest came in and helped me out! The manager said he would have door fixed. We returned today, still on crutches. Same scenario, door broken. If you work there YOU KNOW that door is a problem. I ordered a Grilled Shrimp Salad which was a lettuce salad with shrimp, carrots, tomatoes, onions, red cabbage, cheese, cilantro, tortilla strips, etc. I got it with a red salsa dressing. The salad was pretty average, nothing to call home about. Shrimps were on the smaller side and there weren't too many in the salad. Came here with a few friends to watch the World Series. Really enjoyed the food, drinks, and overall setting. Definitely more of a casual setting, but great if you're just looking for some chill Mexican food with fun drink options and lively atmosphere. Due to covid they did have limited seating but for a saturday night wait was very doable. For food I ordered 3 different tacos, which were really yummy and surprisingly filling! We also got chips, guac and salsa for the table which was super yummy! For drinks we tried one of the fun champagne margarita drinks which was super delicious!!
