Went in for an after-dinner drink and got pulled into a full Star Wars takeover, complete with Han Solo frozen in carbonite on the door, a Mos Eisley Cantina bar setup, and Star Wars shows playing in the background. The theme changes every 3-4 months, so what you see now won't be there forever. Reservations are usually required and we got lucky thanks to a local host who knew someone. Worth planning ahead. Drinks come from the in-house "Cantina" and lean into the theme without feeling gimmicky. Food runs off the menu from the Wobbly Olive, the main bar hidden behind a door in the same spot, and it held up. The Outer Rim Provisions menu had solid options. The biggest surprise was the noise level. You'd expect a themed cocktail bar to be loud, but you could actually hold a conversation. Our server was on point, brought drinks fast, and even remembered the names of the people we were with. Go for a date night or anytime you want a low-key cocktail experience with serious attention to detail. Make a reservation. Peek into the Wobbly Olive on your way out.

From the moment you walk in, the immersion is incredible. The outside is set up as Castle Byers, and then you walk through a short hallway designed to look like the middle school dance floor from Season 2. Right away, you know they put real thought into the details. Once you enter the main seating area, it gets even better. They had Chrissy on the ceiling from Season 4 (yes, that scene), the couch from the Byers' house, and the iconic alphabet wall with the Christmas lights. Our table even had a Pac-Man game built in that we could play while we waited--such a cool touch. The themed menu was great, with a whole lineup of Stranger Things-inspired drinks. I ordered the waffle sliders, which are tiny waffles with a burger inside, served with fries. They were absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and savory at the same time. My son ordered the large TV-tray-style plate inspired by the show, complete with turkey and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, and more. Even though the Stranger Things pop-up is no longer available (they rotate themes--SpongeBob is currently up), I'm so glad we made the drive. Being in a bar known for its speak easy and in the vibe of the prohibition-themed menu items, I figured why not try a Pimm's Cup. I still don't know what Pimm's No. 1 liqueur is, but I can tell you I DID NOT like the first sip. (I'm a mule fan!) After that, though, it was OK. My only real complaint is that they sat my husband and I against the wall and a two-top, except my seat backed up against the bar and was squished between the wall, the bar, and the barstool right next to my seat, eye level. This was absolutely the most traumatic experience I've ever had the pleasure of warning others of…read more I lost my friends around 1:50 am and I was decently drunk at this point. I'm 18+ and as I was drunk and stumbling around looking for my friends, some random man started asking me very aggressively personal questions about myself. At some point one of the questions was a yes or no and i had gotten very frightened and yelled,"no!". I went into The women's bathroom hoping that they would leave me alone but they did not. I was using my body weight to hold the female bathroom door closed but that same person kept banging on the door and kept trying to open it saying,"I'll call the cops on you since you're a minor" and I kept yelling,"do it!" Since I'm not a minor. They finally pushed me from the door and pulled me from the bathroom. They threw me out of the exit and I was drunk and scared. This will absolutely be the last time I go into latin quarters. Not at one moment had they mentioned that they were security. I very genuinely though that they were trying to kidnap me. I was abandoned and alone in the back exit trying to find a familiar face but this club had only offered me a nightmare. I was and will continue to be traumatized from this experience. They are lucky that I do not sue. Ok, I'm editing a day or two after I had come here and I am sore and covered in bruises from what happened to me. I don't remember how rough the "security" was or wasn't but my body is in a decent amount of physical pain. I'm still also pretty shaken up from what happened and I very genuinely don't know when I'll be back to 100%. This place needs to be shut down.
