I come here all the time for brisket nachos and they're excellent, so shout-out to the consistent cooks! They're fast, fresh, and accurate. I took stars off for the cashier service. I've been greeted by a woman with a mouth full of chips as she took my order, a stressed girl when there was only one other customer, and another girl who was rude, dismissive, and who clearly had better things to do. Each time I visit, the cashiers have bad attitudes about the tiniest changes in an order. The runners and cashiers should be replaced, as they take attention from the excellent food by being rude and not taking their job seriously. If you don't like people, don't be the face of an excellent restaurant! Otherwise, the food is great. Just take it to go and you're all set! read more

We have been waiting on our food for 40 minutes and there are not many people here at all. We waited in line to order for 15 minutes and there was one person in front of us. I am only giving one star based on service.. My husband and I went to fuzzys the last two nights in a row (pregnant cravings lol) last night the cashier was rude as hell she was annoyed that we were looking at the menu I guess. There was nobody behind us or anything so it's not like we were holding up a line but whatever maybe she had a bad day?? Anyway tonight we go in with our two kids and I guess it was the manager at the register and she was very friendly and we ordered everything was great.....until we decided we needed some hot sauce...the habanero one not the normal one that sits on the table (not like we had any on our table to begin with).. Well my husband goes to pick one up from a table where (the rude as hell cashier from yesterday) was apparantly about to clean them.. Ok I get it your going to close soon but there were plenty of other people with hot sauce on their tables... She was quick to tell him that he was not allowed to get any hot sauce and that he was to get some from the kitchen??? Uhm then she proceeds to come and SNATCH it from our table and throw some hot sauce packets at us!!?? Not even the kind of hot sauce I wanted in the first place... The table next to us offered us their hot sauce because they had seen what had happened...I really don't know what the hell her problem is but honestly I was furious I come there all the time and have never had to deal with someones attitude like that. I am not a rude person and have never even seen her before so I'm not sure why she is so angry?? I don't think I will be returning to this location again because I don't feel like having to deal with her. Sadly this was one of my favorite locations I also talked to the manager but she really didn't seem interested in what I had to say I don't know if its because she knows that girl has an attitude already and has had complaints in the past about her or she just doesn't care either way if you want to enjoy your meal go to a different location.. read more

My hair stylist recommend I should try their fish and shrimp tacos. Totally loved them. There just the right size on corn tortilla. They garnish with lettuce tomato and Feta chesse which gave it a twist to the flavor. If you go to Fuzzy's, I say stick with the tacos. They have some amazing tacos (shredded beef and fish). I would say stay away from burritos, if you crave them go to Chipotle. The Quesadillas are fairly good. read more

The tempura fish soft tacos on corn tortillas with their hot sauce are just solid when you eat them, but once you've had them, you will intermittently crave them. It's just weird. I am giving them a 4 but the rest of the menu I could take or leave. Solid but not memorable. Maybe a 2- 3. This is a good location of this chain. Much better tacos come out of this store than the Southlake store, for example. They should really re-think their register situation though. Waiting in line is a pain and probably makes me eat there less. I tend to order by phone and pick up rather than eating in so I can avoid the order line. We have 700 of those plastic Fuzzy's mugs in our cabinet. You're supposed to take them back and get a discounted refill. Well, that has never happened. We just keep collecting them like fine china. I liked it when I ate meat and cheese, but now that I am a vegan, the options are slim. Ordered a veggie taco, no butter, and I got a corn tortillas filled with greasy carrots. What can I say? We love this spot because we are from Southern California, and we miss our fish tacos. I especially like the tempura shrimp tacos. The burarcho beans are so good. The beer is cheap and comes in a huge goblet. Myself, I usually get the sagria swirled maragrita. They have huge salads served in giant metal bowls. Haven't had one, but they seem popular. Went here on a Friday afternoon for lunch, disappointed, because I've always been a huge fuzzy's fan. I always get the Baja taco with chicken fajita meat. It's still delicious, but they have cut the meat in half on each taco, it was all lettuce and two little bits of chicken. What a rip off. also we tried their new shrimp bites, do not order them, they were terrible, and the sauce with them was even worse. I will still go to fuzzies, because it's a local restaurant and not a chain add a national level. And I always like the atmosphere. I went to this location with my husband and son yesterday afternoon. We ordered chips and queso, kids chicken sticks, brisket quesadilla and a pork burrito. Chips and queso were fine, but when my husband went to pick them up from the line the cooktop was covered in discarded egg shells as well as being very dirty in general. When our entrees were ready, my quesadilla was not toasted at all on the outside and sitting on a puddle of grease. My son's chicken strips were rubbery as all get out but he didnt seem to mind so I didn't address it. I took my quesadilla to the line to ask that it be recooked, and the cook and what I later found out was the manager were standing there around the corner talking and it took several minutes to get their attention, I got the impression that I was inconveniencing them by asking them to work and take a break from their conversation to serve me edible food. When I got my quesadilla back the outside was toasted nicely but it was still greasy as all get out, I ate some of it but was feeling pretty sick midway through my second piece. I went to the front counter to speak to the manager about my concerns about the food quality and sanitation. I waited at an empty counter for 8 minutes, during which time the cook (who was the only employee visible in the store) also vanished. When someone finally came to the counter, it was the young lady that was behind the line earlier who said she was the manager. I told her my concerns, prefacing by saying that I was not out for free food, I was just a long time food service veteran on both sides of the line and they had some serious issues going on. She stared at me slack jawed, and while I was speaking to her the cook came up behind her. She turned around to him and said something to the effect of "you know youre supposed to blot the meat off first, and why are you wearing gloves off the line you arent supposed to do that" and proceeded to strike up a flirtatious conversation with him and ignore me completely. I just walked away, gathered up my family and left, too angry to try and pursue it any further with either of them. This was Sunday, 12/16 around 330, so I am sure your schedule can tell you who these 2 people were (assuming an adult manager or owner reads this). I am disgusted and will never return to this location, ever. Also, my husband and I were both sick last night as a result of eating here, luckily my toddler was not or we would be having this conversation in person today. Sadly Fuzzy's is one of the worst restaurants of all time. I love the set up. The service is great albeit easily structured by the setup. The food is what your white grandmother from Iowa would make for taco night. Baja style? I say Bahumbug style. I can't believe this place is popular in Texas. We hated the place and then to top it off my girlfriend got food poisoning. She ordered a chicken quesadilla and that canned chicken probably sat around too long. I don't find anything catchy about labeling your hot sauce, which is just vinegar and a mild amount of cayenne, "Butt-Burning Sauce" unless they intentionally want to be honest about the gastroenteritis. I really don't think that's ever going to be due to the sauce. On my last trip to Fuzzy's for food ever in my life I ordered a "Tempura" fish taco. Do we have to call something tempura when it is just fried? And it was super fried. Like things sitting in gas stations for a long time, no exaggeration, with the most minuscule amount of fish interlacing the breading. I don't ever leave reviews but i have to this time so maybe there can be some kind of change. I don't eat at Fuzzy's very often but when i do, i usually enjoy the food. I don't know if its just the location but today was not a good day. Not very much customers, seemed slow. You would think there would be a clean table but it was very hard to find a place to sit because not one table that was not being used was cleaned. I just picked somewhere to sit but had to clean the table myself and ended up getting sticky stuff on my hands. Ended up moving to some other table that was decent. I already felt dirty and what i hate the most is feeling dirty at a place where you are going to eat. If they can't clean the tables then i cant imagine what the kitchen looks like. We got our food pretty quickly. I needed some sauce that was left out of the food so i went over to the cooking area and the cook looked right at me and then looked away like he didn't want to help me. I had to say excuse me for him to looked at me again to helpe me. That kinda annoyed me. The majority of the food was good but my husband and daughters re fried beans were ice cold and tasted sour and disgusting. Seeing how dirty the place was and then tasting sour food...that really changed the way we feel about the place and i don't think we will ever come back. We really wanted to just leave after tasting the beans but since the rest of the food was okay and warm we decided to stay. You either need to get a new manager that actually cares for the business or quickly step up your game. read more

Loved it at first, great atmosphere and concept. I did notice their beef fajita meat was a little tough but just ignored it until I bit into my taco and there was a vein the size of an earthworm in it. I know its normal to have veins in beef sometimes but the one in my taco was abnormal! I think they use really low grade meat. I love the queso though. If I ever go back I will probably just get chips and queso. Fuzzy's is growing and I hope they start spending a little bit more money on higher quality food. read more

i love nachos so of course I had to give their nachos w/ beef a try. it wasn't what i expected. the huge pile of different types of cheeses, beef, onions and tomatoes on top of the tortilla chips made my nachos soggy. I think they topped the nachos off with feta cheese which I didn't enjoy too much. i ended up eating my brother's chips and guacamole instead. ( by the way, their guacamole is quite fresh and delicious!) oh, I forgot to mention that I ate one of my brother's shrimp tacos and that was pretty tasty. if we eat there again, I'll be sure to stay away from the nachos and order their shrimp tacos instead. read more

I like the shrimp, egg, and, cheese tacos. Their fish tacos aren't bad either, I'm just not that big of a fan of guida cheese on tacos. They have hot sauce that has a decent flavor at each of the tables and if you request it, they do provide a spicier hot sauce. read more

really good, unique mexican food. probably the best denton has to offer. i usually get the chips and queso (VERY good cheese), followed by either the baja tacos (soft, with beef and/or veggies) or the shrimp quesadillas with the tempera shrimp. love the garlic sauce they add to tacos, adds great flavor, and the fried rice is awesome, as well as shredded beef anything. beans are kind of tasteless though, not sure why when everything else is so good! read more

My husband & I love Fuzzy's. It's one of our favorite taco places. I'm not crazy about the flavor of the chicken or beef but their chorizo is really good. My husband loves their baha tacos with grilled fish, crawfish & shrimp. The habanero sauce is AMAZING!! Ask for it when you get your food. It's not the same as the sauce on the table. ;) Speaking of table, grab a margarita and check out the patio. It's the perfect summertime hangout. read more
