Service has been quick every time I've been in, it's never been overly busy, and the food quality has been consistently great. I'm a huge nachos guy, so I have to recommend the nachos. They come with Fuzzy's phenomenal garlic sauce, and when you mix that with the sour cream, taco sauce, queso, and all the toppings, the flavor profile is honestly undefeated. Also, here's a veteran move: order the Baja Fish Taco, but get it topped like the Cabo Shrimp Taco. I actually prefer the fish here over the shrimp, but those Cabo toppings belong on the fish taco. We came here for lunch. I ordered a salad with shrimp and my companion ordered 3 tacos. It took close to 45 minutes to get our lunch. It wasn't even that busy. There was 1 person ahead of us. We asked at the 30 minute mark if they were working on the order and got yelled at by a dark haired balding man with a beard. The dining room was filthy. We could not find a clean table and we saw a roach. It scurried away before I could get my phone and take a pic. The food is a reason for the 2 stores and the cashier was pleasant. My experience was very ok. Got my margarita quickly, but it was super tart. Also pretty sure they used steak seasoning on the rim instead of tajin. My chips only had the famous Fuzzy dust on the top layer. The bottom chips were bare and all of them were kinda stale. The queso it came with had an odd color and consistency. Today was NOT a good experience at this Fuzzy's location. I ordered online for curbside pickup. I waited until the time specified to pick my order up. I called from the parking lot, as the sign said. The cashier said to give her 2 minutes. More than 10 minutes later I called back and she said "yes your order is ready, just let me finish with this customer". I waited about another 5 minutes and finally had to go in and get it myself. It wasn't the cashier's fault. It was the fault of management. This was around 11:30am and she had no help. This is a Fuzzy's. In the early to mid-2000s there were only two, as far as I know. One near TCU and one near UNT. They were opened late and not expensive and served alcohol and it kind of felt like a low-key local place to get some tacos and chips and a beer. And I loved that. So I was already all-in when massive expansion came along around 2010 or so and all of the sudden there was a Fuzzy's in every strip mall in north Texas. I can maybe understand people who didn't have that previous experience being unimpressed. I was very happy to find a Fuzzy's Taco Shop near my work when I was craving breakfast tacos. I went in around 9am on a Thursday and placed my order for (2) bacon, egg and cheese and (1) shrimp, egg and cheese. The tacos really surprised me. The bacon one had a ton of meat in it and was filled to the brim with egg and cheese. Normally places will skimp on the meat or half fill them. The shrimp one was also surprising because I normally would not order shrimp for breakfast but the flavor was really good. It is just pan seared shrimp but I am sure they would do the fried if you wanted. My tacos only took about 2 minutes to be ready and at least when I went here was no line. The service was not overly friendly but more like nice but in a rush. We were greeted by a young man named Voice as we entered. He asked how we were doing and if we'd had a good day. It only got better from there. None of us were familiar with the menu. Can never go wrong with Fuzzy Tacos! Wow I just love this place! And Yell makes it extra lovable by checking in and recording a free chips and salsa ...a fade extra for the caso but all worth it!!! Nice and spacious inside and is the normal setup as most Fuzzy Tacos! This one doesn't have a patio but it's still all good! Food was super hot and fresh and the chips are warm and crips! The fish tacos and shrimp tacos are super good, but I always get at least 1 order of the special beef tacos. There is something magical about the seasoning in their beef tacos. I usually order 2 tacos and their white queso and feel full. The white queso is not your typical queso, it is creamier. Loved the staff here who were above and beyond courteous and helpful, some of the best customer service I've ever received at a restaurant and a drastic difference from another Fuzzy's location I went to. The tacos I'd really give a 3, the flavors were good but not amazing. I did really like the chips and queso, they have a seasoned salt on the chips which definitely makes them better than the average. I tried the pork and a chicken taco and both were tasty, they just had a sauce on them that had a funny after taste. I wouldn't say it tasted bad, just a little weird. This location has a lot to learn from the others. If you order multiple tacos, they throw them together haphazardly as evidenced in the photo. They may or may not end up with cheese, garlic sauce or cilantro. And half full of meat.
