Fuzzy taco looks like your typical bar(but nicer than most college bars). I came with a few coworkers and they all had a great time. The drinks were cheap, especially the beer, which is all my colleagues cared about. I had three tacos and really enjoyed them. The Baja fish was good but lacked a bit of flavor. The Cabo shrimp was great!! I don't usually like bacon, but it added a nice flavor to the shrimp. My favorite was the honey chipotle shrimp taco. The shrimp was slightly fried and the pickled onions and cabbage added a great crunch!! They had great service, food, and cheap drinks. What more could you ask for? read more

Please be patient with the young man who helps serve & clean up -- he's learning & I'm sure management is working with him. I've been wanting to try this place, as it's close to a hotel I frequent. It always seems to be busy, which is to be expected being a block from campus. First and foremost - Hailey, the bartender, was great. Checked on me often, made recommendations, and was super friendly. I'd ask for her again. I ordered a beer - local brews made up about 25% of their tap list, with the "Mexican food standard" dos xx and Budweiser products making up the rest of their tap list. The beer was served in a margarita glass - odd, but I guess it saves on pint glasses... The "drunken pig" beans and chips was a decent appetizer - but it's heavy on the beans and light on the chips. I tried two tacos - the spicy pork and California Heat. The spicy pork wasn't anything to write home about - but the Cali Heat was great. The heat didn't hit until after the last bite, but it lasted several minutes afterwards. A nice blend of flavors and a decent amount of heat. I would skip the other tacos and go for this one if you're a spice/Heat fan. Overall, not a bad place. It's a decent place to get a good inexpensive taco, so I can see why it's popular with the college students. read more

Service was very good! I enjoyed my two taco meal. I got a fajita chicken and a grilled shrimp taco. Both tacos came on flour tortillas with lettuce, tomato and cheese. I had a side of rice and beans. I wasn't totally impressed with my side choices. I felt that both had no real flavor. Kind of bland. I loved the chips. We stopped in on our way to New Orleans. This place reminds me of a local Alabama chain called Taco Mama. The food was good and reasonable priced. Loved the frozen jack and coke machine! My fiance and I tried Fuzzy's Taco Shop for the first time yesterday. I ordered the Fajita Chicken Nachos and he got the Shredded Brisket Nachos. We went here to get some "junk" food because it was our cheat day, and we just wanted to indulge on something. The food was great! Nice portion size for the price, saturated with toppings, but my plate wasn't piping hot when it arrived. Still, it tasted good and satisfied my craving. The staff was attentive and came by multiple times to check on us. I liked the environment of the restaurant, a chill, pay-when-you-order type setting. I gave Fuzzy's a 4 star review because the food was really good, but not exactly mind blowing. I look forward to returning to try other menu items when we are in the area. read more

I just can't rave enough about it...the food, the staff/service, the atmosphere. Today we had Mahi tacos, shrimp taco, chicken fajita taco, chicken nachos, & kid's taco meal. All wonderful. Kid's meal comes with a sweet treat. (I'm getting that next time.) The staff looks to be college-age but they appear to be having fun at a job they love. They are helpful, friendly, & quick. I had the fajita chicken burrito bowl and it was AMAZING. The mobile app was a great way to avoid standing in line and my order was exactly as I ordered and quickly. The staff was busy but still polite which is sometimes an issue during busy periods at a place like this. I also tried the chips and queso as suggested order in the mobile app. They were really good especially with the Fuzzy dust. These are the tacos we've been waiting for Hattiesburg! We visited twice last week, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Have you ever had breakfast tacos? It'll change your life. The shrimp and egg and cheese and the chorizo+potato, egg and cheese were my moves, and I loved them both. At lunch, I had the special taco that is called California heat or something... it was shrimp, bacon, avocado, and some other bits and it was delicious. My only disappointment in the offerings is there is not a tuna taco. The fish taco is Alaskan pollock-a decent flaky white fish, but it's no tuna or even mahi-mahi. They offer a two taco combo plate, but I prefer to skip the sides and just order three tacos a la carte. They have two hot sauces, the house sauce which is pretty standard and a habanero. The habanero isn't on every table, so ask a server for it. I love hot sauces, so I would love to see some other options (like you see at Tijuana Flats) but at least the two they offer are pretty good. Their tortilla chips are seasoned with something that reminded me of Old Bay which is just different enough to be interesting. If you buy a fountain beverage, you can keep the cup and bring it back for 99 cent refills in the future. So clean it out when you're done and keep it in the trunk. They also have an app where you can scan your receipts and build points toward what I presume to be coupons, etc. The staff was very friendly and gave us a load of chips to go when we were looking for some extras to finish off our queso. They have a full bar, but I haven't tried any adult beverages yet. My wife had a frozen marg and it was fine if you're into that sort of thing. This is a great place to dine. Great, cool atmosphere and reasonably priced. I am a simpleton and love the beef tacos. They have a slightly different taste than a standard taco but not too far from the norm. You know how some places like to reinvent the wheel but this place honors the taste of the texmex taco. My mouth is watering as I type this. Friendly, professional staff and great queso and chips, you MUST try it. We ran out of chips and the sweet waitress VOLUNTEERED to bring us more. My wife LOVED the pork quesadillas. We WILL return. My only complaint. The place is very noisy so don't expect to go inside and have a nice, quiet conversation but hey, we there to eat big daddy.
