This is a place I would come back to and eat at again. It's fast-food tacos with a bar! They have some decent options. All of it tasted decent. Of course it isn't the same as an authentic sit down Mexican food place however it's many steps above Taco Bell. The staff was pleasant and the food didn't take long. The place has a bar and a fun interior. The tacos tasted decent but they didn't overfill the meat that's for sure and the chips and cheese were good. The price is decent as well. We will be back to eat again for sure. This is a great spot for lunch or a quick dinner. read more

Ugh! I was missing Texas and these are prevalent in Fort Worth. I received my tacos hot and pleasantly surprised that when I got home 20 minutes later they were still warm. Now Fuzzy has breakfast tacos that have chorizo n egg etc. Reminded me of San Antonio. Tasted ok. Not very flavorful but with enough spicy taco sauce it was edible. I was going to do 3 stars until I opened up my sopapillas. Ick. They are white and doughy. Not cooked. I tried to put them in my skillet with no success. So, I wanted a fun, quick and local breakfast while in town, and I wasn't sure what to get. Fast food was off the table (BK, Micky D's, etc) and something maybe fast casual and local was what I wanted. I searched for a few minutes and found this place and it wasn't far from my hotel. They have a variety of great menu options that aren't expensive and you can add and substitute to make it how you like, which I loved. I'm pretty standard fare with my Mexican, and don't alter my food all that much from the menu. I noticed they had a fabulous looking breakfast burrito and you could make it a few different ways. Being that I don't eat pork, I went with the potato, egg and cheese burrito without a side of anything. I wasn't rice and beans hungry at this point in the day, so I didn't or any, but if I was a regular diner here, I probably would have added it at some point. When I ordered there was a ton of options to add or remove items. I kept it simple since I just wanted a quick meal. I paid online and was able to choose a time for pickup. Side note, I did not notice any coffee on their menu. If they had it, it was secretly hidden somewhere. It's really no big deal, but whatever, so I made another stop along the way since coffee shops are everywhere anyway. When I got to Fuzzy's, I was a few minutes early so I went in and let the man at the counter know I was here for my order. He said that they were making it as we speak and it would just be a few minutes. This place is fast casual, and you order at the counter and seat yourself for your food. I could have eaten in, but I passed since I had other stuff to do and was happy going back to my hotel room to eat there. The place is spacious, with lots of menu items, clean and very up to date. Getting back to the hotel, I loved my burrito. Fabulous! They threw in one packet of some kind of spice, and it was okay. It wasn't a whole lot and it was just okay. About the size of a packet of ketchup. I could have used a few more! Anyway, I loved their food and would gladly carry out or dine in here. My family and I were staying overnight in Toledo on a road trip and we were very excited to find A Fuzzy's taco shop was nearby! We had Fuzzy's years ago in Texas and they were just as good as we remembered. I ordered a tempura Mahi taco with no lettuce, and my family got a grilled shrimp taco, nachos, and sopapilla bites to share. Everything was so delicious! The Mahi taco was the stand-out. It was so flaky and delicious I could have 200 of them. I hope we can stop back here again in the future. read more

Decided to check this place out for taco Tuesday! They've got a great variety of tacos from breakfast to seafood to vegetarian. I tried their veggie and fried avocado options. Definitely preferred their veggie due to the flavoring and spice! They have a great Taco Tuesday deal, unfortunately the veggie ones weren't included. The tacos are a decent size (i ordered 2 and that was plenty). They have options for flour, corn, and hard shell tacos. Will have to come back to try their bowls and burritos! read more

This is my very 1st time and LAST time coming to this place. I placed a mobile order online to be picked up. I am a very disappointed healthcare worker, i decided to get tacos for lunch and they were HORRIBLE. Very soggy, and no flavor. I got the queso shrimpico tacos that were advertised on their menu to have corn pico on them which is part of the reason i ordered those which come to find out when i got to the restaurant they no longer sell corn pico which is false advertisement. The tacos were sooooooo soggy the whole paper bag was wet. Also along with the tacos i got sopapilla bites which on the menu states they are supposed to have cinnamon sugar on them and they did not, and they were Burnt. It felt like I was the butt of a joke on a prank television show. This is exactly how I felt while waiting for my fast food order at Fuzzy's taco shop on Central Avenue in Toledo Ohio. Hoping to grab a quick lunch on a busy workday, I stepped inside The Restaurant - which had an empty line ordering station upfront - which very cleverly concealed the rear, giving the illusion that your food would be Prepared quickly by employees eager for something to do on a slow day. Of course, I was excited And I ordered two tacos. But then I walked to the back of the restaurant, where I saw a bustling waiting room of 15 people, all with the same tired, exhausted "how much longer do I have to wait?"-type expression on their face. As i entered, the room mockingly turned toward me in recognition as the next victim to the ploy. I sat down and figured no fast food service counter restaurant in the world Could make someone wait longer than 5-10 minutes for two tacos, right? As time passed by, I kept looking to the faces of the other people in the waiting room, expecting some sort of developed queue to be observable, letting me know how close I was to my goal. But alas, they weren't getting their food either. After 25 minutes, I eventually became disgruntled enough to approach the kitchen and inquire. As I reached the employee, I was careful to be courteous. I did not want to appear indignant or impatient, so I took the blame myself in the inquiry. I asked, "I'm sorry, I think I might have missed hearing you call my order number? Is it possible I wasn't listening?" The employee looked at my service ticket and laughed out loud. "Man, we haven't even began your order yet. We have six orders ahead of yours." Now, I understand that this quarantine and pandemic, as well as world full of stimulus checks has stripped the fast food industry of its workers, so I slightly feel like a jerk complaining about how fast food service has withered to speeds equivalent of me slaughtering the animal and preparing the food myself, but I do worry what this means for the entire industry. Honestly, if I ran that slow of a business, I would at least be greeting people at the front door and telling them that I was running behind before taking orders. Once I had made a credit card order, I felt I was past the point of no return, and hence tied down to staying at the establishment until I received the two tiny tacos. I felt like I was on a prank tv show- with a hidden audience secretly placing bets as to how long this idiot would be willing to wait for two tacos he could've ordered, paid for, and consumed in under five minutes at Taco Bell next-door. Surely, I had to be someone's joke. At the half an hour mark, the manager, appeared to take note of my physical irritation. I was sitting in a booth, slumped over, looking like I was halfway between bored and emaciated. He came over, informed me that he put my order up immediately and of course, five minutes later, I had my two tacos at the 36 minute mark. And yes, they were cold. But surprisingly, the side of refried beans was piping hot.. Because I was now running exceptionally late, I inhaled the food and barely tasted it. So I can't even write about the Quality outside of the temperature itself. While I will attest to the genuine professional nature of how the manager addressed me, I can't say much for this location of Fuzzy's Taco Shop. If I were a post millennial, I would accept the fact that I should be appreciative of any food regardless if I paid for the convenience of it. But considering that this establishment exists solely as providing quick, tasty food to people in a hurry, I cannot support it when it failed so miserably. I apologize to Mr. Fuzzy or Mrs Fuzzy (i'm going with these names simply because I refuse to believe that anyone would willingly name their taco hut after an adjective that is associated with mold growth), But the truth is that I really wished someone would've warned me about the 36 minute wait for two of their namesake menu items. Makes me incredibly sad that the quality of this place has gone out the window. I used to love coming here when visiting family as the food was always great, the staff was respectful, & they honored the deals they advertised. After my visit today with their incredibly rude female taking orders I won't be coming back. She was unhelpful, had no knowledge of the menu, & proceeded to overcharge us over $20 when we ordered tacos off their $2 taco Tuesday menu. The food was much lower quality than our past visits with a lot of the chicken & fish portions being so minimal that you cannot see the meat at all in the tacos. We went in for Taco Tuesday $2 tacos and were charged $4.50+ for each taco. Do not get scammed by their false advertising I have already contacted an attorney to hold this place accountable for their actions today. My literal favorite place to eat, I'll come here multiple times a week and not even care, it always smacks. I get the brisket nachos and never stray because it's so goooood. If you haven't tried it you should, the Fuzzy's frozen margaritas are bangin too. Rewards program hooks it up and you can pretty much get something free every other time you go. read more

This place has fantastic burritos that are as good, if not better than Chipotle's, for the same price, and they include guacamole for no upcharge. My favorite personally the tempura fish. The breakfast burritos are even cheaper, but just as big. I've also tried several of the tacos, baja style and very delicious. I love the California heat taco with a soft flout shell. All tacos come with either a soft flour, crispy corn, or soft corn tortillas. This place also has a great atmosphere, bright colors and Jeep flair. It has a full bar with several flatscreen tv's. All in all, perhaps a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. read more

I ordered an order online and went in to pick it up, no cashier was at the front so I went the cooks, the cook was rude with me and short and pretty much told me to go find the bartender. Um okay... I had issues with Grubhub all night. Unfortunately it was after 9 and my choices were limited. I really wanted Mexican food so I gave it a shot. BAD IDEA. When my food finally got to my house it was cold. Gross. Soggy. The chips were stale. The queso was clumpy. My shrimp taco had 2 shrimps. Literally more feta cheese than shrimp. If you're ok dropping $20 for four tiny tacos, four small and bland sides, and two fountain drinks, by all means, go. Different concept. Like Panera where you order the food at the counter and get a pager for when your order is ready but they also have alcohol, sort of like an upscale fast food place that serves booze. I did the combo plate and the enchilada and taco were both good but the cilantro rice wasn't that good. The potatoes were really good and next time I'm going to ask for a double order of those for my two sides. If you get the large souvenier cup for soda and bring it back they will discount the price. Fuzzy's is a fast casual TexMex food. It's more of an eclectic take on Tex mex food. My issue is that I've been eating Fuzzy's since the first location. So all my reviews of Fuzzy's compares to the location on Berry. Not that anyone in Ohio should get that reference. The portions are smaller than I'm used to. The flavors are a bit off. The odd thing is that I've tried multiple Fuzzy locations across the south and almost ever one is close to the original. Update on a second visit: The tacos were better than the burrito. Enchiladas and nachos were ok. I think the biggest problem with this location is the tortillas and other ingredients. The tortillas in the enchiladas were stale and a bit cold. There was issues with the sauce. Poor ingredients yields poor food. Come here if you are not picky. In comparison to other Mexican places it probably stands up. I prefer real Mexican but usually fuzzy's is good even if it isn't traditional Mexican. The problem is the ingredients here are poor quality. Find a real Mexican place where their standards are higher. Then again you might not know the difference, so it probably is ok for you. read more

I lived in Dallas for 5 years, and loved Fuzzy's while I was there. After being back in Toledo for a couple years, my mind was literally blown when I saw this opening. I've been twice with my family, once on their opening day, and once on Fathers Day. All I can say is if you're expecting Taco Bell or something you will be disappointed. My favorite are the tempura shrimp burrito and pretty much any taco. The brisket tacos and shrimp tacos are pretty good. Hard to find brisket in Toledo. The queso (blanco) is great, and very mild. Perfect for sharing with people who might not want things super spicy. The best value, IMHO is the two taco plate. I can understand if you come in here and are shocked at the price of a taco, especially if you haven't ever had the joy of finding your favorite taco truck and tracking it down just to get your fix. The quality of the product to me is in the filling and I have been satisfied both here and in Texas. TL;DR: I would suggest trying two different tacos each time you go or getting the tempura shrimp burrito. read more

The experience it started out great. We placed our order with a very friendly guy who wrote everything down on the computer. We paid for the food, and sat down at a table waiting for our order to be ready. When it was ready we went up to get it. We took it back to the table and found out that though my wife said no pico de gallo on her plate as she is allergic to onion. Her plate had a large portion of the pico de Gallo. As it was not touching her quesadilla, she put it off to the side. They did not add the garlic sauce on my food, and they added tomato To the other person's meal, even though I specifically stated no tomato. I ordered the crispy tacos, and the taco shells were stale. The food was very expensive for what we got. Three tacos, beans, quesadilla, and two soft tacos, we're about $30 with drinks. I don't like to leave bad reviews about places but this experience was exceptionally unpleasant. Food is mediocre at best and overpriced in my opinion. We walked in and stood at the counter to order while the cashier finished a text on his phone while waiting to order. Didn't smile, ask us what he could get for us, just looked at us waiting to order. When we did, he gave us instructions on how to get our order. We walked up to get the chips and queso from the window and the cook was not friendly either. Emily the manager is so sweet. I had placed an order and it wasn't what I ordered when I arrived. I had a coupon for what I ordered and she honored for my order. Great customer service! There was a woman who was so combative and pushed her way in front of me to complain that her order wasn't correct. Her queso dip came on the side so as not to change the integrity of her order. She said to Emily so your the manager, obviously because she looks so young. Emily explained why they package the way they do and the woman yelled I want my money back. Most people don't know this but you can go straight to the bar to order drinks and food. That's what I do. I loveeee the queso dip, street tacos (california heat especially) any of the entrees with shrimp or brisket, and the sopapillas are everything. They have sweet water, kona and glass hopper on draft plus the usual domestics, margs are my favorite and a full bar for anything you can think up. read more
