I came for a 2nd time to try this place and it was a Friday night about 12:30 pm. The restaurant was not busy with just a few customers, good music but the service...well that was the worst! I know it's late but the place closes at 2 am - whoever the hostess was, looked like she couldn't wait to get out of there as well as another man, heavy set whose mannerism when asked for a water, was just horrible. Our server was very patient with us and brought out things we asked for in a timely manner. I ordered the tropical parrot for a drink and it was super strong (in a good way)! I love the addition of the fresh fruit in it. They offer plenty of options for tacos and I was so shocked to see that a taco mix was available! 6 different types of tacos are offered and all of them were delicious. I came on a Sunday to try the AYCE brunch. There were plenty of options along the buffet line. My favorite was the chicken mole. The restaurant was crowded, from everyone getting out of church, but there was plenty of fresh food. The decor was consistent with a taqueria. I've eaten here numerous times (To go, through DoorDash, and in person) over the past two years. Up until today the food was consistently good. Maybe it was an off day being a Sunday but it was not good this time. Ordered queso and it came out cold, they replaced it with another cold queso. I was at this location recently with my cousin and they treated us like SHIT. They have an issue with her and instead of having the problem with just one person and or solving the issue professionally , they take it out on all of us which is unfair because when I go in there I treat everyone with respect and don't give them any issues. The last time I was there before this time , one of the servers asked me about a tab my cousin did not pay due to their system being down. So bc we frequent there I paid the tab. When my cousin came back the server LET HER PAY AGAIN and did not tell her to keep her money because I had already taken care of it. So the server STOLE money from my cousin instead of doing the ETHICAL thing and letting her know I had already paid. When we went there yesterday after my cousin found that out things went left from there. Another person in our party ordered nachos and asked for no pico bc she is ALLERGIC to onions , the server who clearly was not focused put pico on the food anyways! So we tried to send the food back to have it remade. They sent the food back and PICKED the pico off of the food instead of completely remaking the dish!!!!! The server told us that the kitchen said "we're not remaking anything for THAT table." ?????? We literally hadn't even done anything other than the fact that my cousin, rightfully so , was PISSED bc the server let her pay her tab again AFTER I had already paid. So why did the entire restaurant decide they wanted to refuse us service? IDK. After it's all said and done we ask for our checks and it's almost as though no one wants to service us . What a STUPID time to deny service. When we want to PAY the check???????? You're treating us like shit and you clearly don't want us here so why not pay us out and let us leave ????? So rightfully so , I got pissed and went the hell off on everybody in the restaurant. I did not pay my tab and will not pay it unless an owner or manager who cares reaches out to me. We asked for our tab multiple times and they refused us service at the stupidest time they could've ever refused it. The two ladies on the floor yesterday clearly do NOT know how to run a business and do NOT need to be left there alone to do so EVER again. One of them is too scary to actually come to us and speak to us and the other is a THIEF and she talks too damn much. Owned by Adrian from Rocky, or is it Adrian Peterson formerly of the Vikings, this is a very solid Mexican eatery which is a local chain (as far as I know), and the Katy location has mixed service issues, pretty good 4 star food (some of the items some of the time are 5 star), and 5 star entertainment. Overall the chain scores a 4 or a 5 depending on the day and the location. I'll give it a 4 but on a good day it could easily score 5. read more

This is are second time here and both times we have been super happy with the service and food we received.( Definitely worth the 45 min drive for us). The shrimp was great sized and cooked to perfection so with each bite you taste the combination of shrimp and coleslaw one doesn't out weigh the other. Worst experience so far at Tacos y Tortas Adrian. It was our first and LAST experience at their establishment. We didn't get greeted nor attention was given, we sat wherever we saw an open table but then 12minutes later the waiter walked by and dropped some chips with salsa. I was ready to order some drinks that way I can enjoy the damn chips or even swallow them. 10, 15, and even 23 more minutes passed and no one checked on us at all. You can see from the picture that they are too busy texting and hugging and playing around just chillen on their phone not paying attention to the customers. My hands were leaking oil and grease the entire time. The bottom of my tray has a nice layer of just grease.
