He spent a couple of hours looking at my system and tinkering around but not fixing it. He told me he needed a new part and it would take up to 4 weeks to arrive then he'd be back. I never heard from him again. Fast forward to 2023 when we're -20° and surprise, my heat still isn't working. Again, they are given the information to come and fix the heater. I tell the dispatcher what happened and she reads the notes in my file that say "was advised to stop using secondary heating source." What?!? I have a secondary hearing source? And if so, what does that have to do with the broken one? I receive a call from Jim (I think that's his name) saying "their guy will be by today." No appointment was made just assumptions that I could drop everything and be at the house immediately without notice. I inform him that's not how I schedule my day and he needs to make an appointment. Two days later he calls back at 4:47am!!! and says they'll be by later today. He apparently forgot that I need to SCHEDULE my appointments especially since I'm in California where it's warm. Remember, I have no heat and it's in the single digits at my home. He says to me "well you didn't tell me you were in California." I was unaware I needed to check in with some random, rude stranger and let him know where I was vacationing. I called another company that I've hired in the past and trust. Arctic Refrigeration leaves jobs unfinished and still charges you, calls at ungodly hours, expects you to drop everything to accommodate them and inform them of your vacation plans. I do not recommend this company. ***I would encourage you to read the other reviews as they state similar experiences. Rudeness from company, promises to come back with parts and never did, inefficient work.*** Just don't forget to mention your vacation plans as they really like to know where you're going.

I called Sandri, only to be told that our last service call was 2022--and they discontinue service after two years. We would be considered "new customers," and they were not taking on any new customers! How on earth can this be a good business model? This is "customer service"??????

march 28, 2026 -- buyer beware!!! alpine heat pumps does not stand behind the products they sell…read more 18 months after purchase, major components failure of the compressor and inverter pcb board. best they could do was, we could get out there in maybe 2 weeks, why don't you try calling.....maybe they can help. alpine's representative had the nerve after it was diagnosed by another company as a known c464 failure problem with samsung to say, "well every now and then you get a bad one, but the parts are covered!" 18 months and a major failure, and we're supposed to come up with another $1,500 to $2,000 for labor and freon. so, they don't service what they sell, moreover, don't stand behind the product they recommended. not to mention that as part of mass save had to have our furnace disconnected and we are stll without heat (april 7) in half the house...tonights low expected to be 25 degrees! going on a week and half of 50% heat, not expected to maybe be repaired on the 14th. they were responsive in taking my $28,000 for the system, and now they will not respond! poor customer service! they take your money and move on! shop elsewhere, and go with company that actually services what they sell and stands behind the products they sell. oh, and they no longer sell samsung....no suprise. only 1 star, because can't give zero.

Additionally Jason(Alpine) charged me for four(4) mini-splits and I only recieved three(3) and one(1) condenser. Jason came to my home and I complained to him about mini-splits turn on in the off position. He(jason) stated he would put in a work request ASAP. The owner loaned to me a space heater until the job was complete. I only have one request from the company to use drop cloths as not to make a mess on their future projects. The owner, Chris was in touch with me from beginning to end of the project. I appreciated that very much. The two technicians that came over to the house were very polite and helpful.
