Geovany, Daniel and everyone on the team are total pros, and extremely good at communicating and collaborating with you throughout the entire process. It's scary and depressing to find out you have mold in your house. I was left in the lurch by another mold remediation company that failed to put me on its wait list as it should have and was luckily recommended to GA by my mold inspector, who has an extremely short list of remediators. I was added to GA's schedule right away. Geo kept my informed through all of it (in contrast to the other remediator, which handled a separate property I had). Afterward, my post-remediation mold inspector (different company from the one who recommended GA) said GA did a *great* job. We passed clearance right away (in contrast to the other remediator who handled my other property, which failed clearance by simply not performing fully the scope of work in our contract and delayed our completion date as a result). We were selling our Town House in Santa Monica and some mold was discovered in the kitchen during inspection. We called Geovany. As he was investigating the extent of the mold in our unit he discovered that the unit behind us also had some mold on their wall caused by a separate issue. Because we had a short timeline we were unable to coordinate the mold remediation with our neighbor so Geovany quickly came up with a different solution, he addressed all of the mold in our unit and on the other wall and then sealed off our unit so it would no longer be impacted by any mold that might be in our neighbors unit. We got our clearance. Then he helped organize rebuilding our cabinets. As we were rebuilding the buyer decided instead to renovate the kitchen. Geovany again quickly shifted gears, stopped the work, and instead of finishing the cabinets he completed a little more demolition to help set up the buyer for the renovation. As he was taking away all of the debris from the job he took away some extra debris that had been left over from another job while still reducing his overall original estimate (because he was not rebuilding all of the cabinets). In the end we got our clearance and closed on time, despite the frequent shifts in the scope of work. His price was fair (and very good) and he was always available, often late in the evening/at night. You can't go wrong with Geovany and I highly recommend him. read more

When we first learned that we needed to do mold remediation on our house (due to some pretty serious health issues) we wanted to make sure the house was remediated was done to perfection. We were worried and not very educated on mold remediation. After our inspection, I had met with 3 mold remediation companies. I was about to pull the trigger with one of them before a friend of mine told me that I had to call Geovany. I was very impressed with our first meeting. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and helped put me at ease. When it came time for the remediation, Geovany, Daniel, and the whole team was very professional, fast (without cutting ANY corners), and answered all of our questions. Their containments were really well done too! We just got our test results to make sure the mold was cleared and there were ZERO spores after their work. I used Geovany and his crew on three different occasions: twice to treat mold issues as a result of leaking windows and to clear musty smell from a crawl space as a result of unusually rainy season. Homeowners are rarely happy when they hear the words "mold remediation" because it conjures many negative thoughts. When we found we needed it in our Altadena rental home bathrooms we were seriously worried, primarily because we had heard of so many scams. However, we interviewed and hired Geovany Ayala of G.A. Environmental Services, and this was very fortunate, because Geovany is a true professional who understands his craft AND who happens to be a most congenial gentleman. We relied on his expertise in achieving clearance on our back bathroom and he did not disappoint. He was always there promptly when we needed him to be, either to answer our (endless) questions or to be there to do what needed to be done. He was patient and thorough in explaining the procedures, and was most accommodating to our tenants, their schedules and concerns. I might add that this was NOT an easy job due to multiple factors, yet it was addressed in a smooth manner by G.A. Environmental Services (at a fair price). First, you have the stress that you have been told that you have mold and it is unknown how bad and where is it? If you Google Mold Remediation you come up with a mind boggling array of companies. Some companies are large cleaning companies that remediate mold as one of their services or they are a construction companies that claim they do remediation but not telling you how. We narrowed our choice to three companies and G.A. Environmental Services was one of them. Right away when you speak to Geovany Ayala he is calm and reassuring on the phone. The most impressive thing was that he texted us his IICRC and other certifications, this really put us at ease as adhering to the proper precautions for remediation was important. Geovany came to the house for the inspection and in person he is calm and his years of experience quietly exude confidence. With other inspectors they are vague and somewhat prey on your fears, not with Geovany. He went about his inspection, asked questions and answered any of our questions. Next based on his inspection he sent a quote and statement of work that outlines what G.A. Environmental would do and what is required by the homeowner. We hired G.A Environmental. The day the work was to get started Geovany and his team went over what they were going to do one more and I left them to do the work in our bathroom. When I came back later everything was sealed and there was a containment chamber for workers to pass through. Also, they had setup two air scrubbers, one in the bathroom where the problem was and one outside as a precaution. Again, their attention to detail is very comforting. I can happily report that we just had mold test and our house was cleared for having any mold. I am grateful to Geovany and G.A Environmental for their knowledge, skills and experience to get us to this point. We highly recommend them for your mold remediation needs, you will not find anyone better. A side note. As yet another datapoint- GA has saved us 3 times now. The first time was the extensive water damage I mentioned in my first review. The second was earlier this year when we discovered water damage in our master bathroom. Geovany and his team remediated the area and helped us connect with another vendor to build back at lightning speed to minimize disruption (all amid COVID- area fully contained, crew always masked up, worksite clean and orderly at the end of every workday and cleaned extensively at the end of the project). Third save was today. We recently noticed what appears to be moisture in the ceiling. Geovany came right out and investigated. Luckily, the discoloration was related to something else.
