When I got my bumper repaired and the manager so gracefully helped me figure out that my battery was causing issues, I was extremely grateful. Today I discovered that during my repairs my front license plate was missing( photograph evidence), my spare tire the donut was missing and tow hook was missing. My Hyundai was targeted again at BART, this time leaving it un-drivable. They broke off my drivers door handle & destroyed my steering column, & steering wheel. Once I filed a claim with my insurance, they suggested this repair place. I was able to take my car in the next day & drop it off for repairs. The staff was friendly upon arrival, & the technician spoke with us about what repairs would be needed, like replacing the car door & steering column. He explained he would need to order parts & it could take a couple of weeks to repair. He also informed us that he sends out updates on your car every Tuesday & Thursday. Throughout the four weeks they had my car, I received one call to update me about the status of it. I ended up having to call weekly, & was told they were waiting on parts, but it should be done in a couple days. They told me this several more times. After four weeks, I finally received an itemized list of repairs & the estimated cost. The text I received required me to sign a document to authorize the repair of my car, which shocked me because they had had my car for weeks now. The work they did turned out fine, & thankfully I'm only out of my deductible. Not sure what typical auto body shops cost these days, but my total was about $4500, with labor costing more than the parts. If this was to ever happen again, I'd ignore what the insurance company suggested & go with a dealership, since they seem to be much faster & communicate better with their customers. If this is the average price for car repairs & you don't need a car for a month, I would think this place would be a good recommendation. read more

I went in today to G&C Auto Body a bit discouraged as a result of an ongoing issue I had been experiencing with getting my vehicle repaired. I spoke with this gentleman by the name of Steven Peterson. I quickly noticed that he was on top of his work. After about 10 minutes, he found a solution to my issue. Mind you, this was an issue I had been dealing with for over one year. I would like to acknowledge Mr. Peterson for his outstanding problem solving skills and overall professionalism. Needed my car towed off the freeway and I contacted this shop for help. Customer service was great from start to finish. The shop was very clean and organized. Bathroom was clean and well maintained ( I'm a woman,I care about that stuff.lol) I was offered water and coffee while I waited. The manager Bryan was very knowledgeable and walked me through the process. I was updated about my car so I wasn't blindsided with fees. They repaired my car bumper after it was rear-ended. You would never know it had been damaged. I didn't have access to a ride, and I was perfectly prepared to walk the two or three miles to my home, but they gave me a ride both times (dropping it off and picking it up). Very nice people. read more

I unfortunately hit a piece of plywood on the freeway. This is where my insurance company sent me. I don't recommend taking any car here. They did a horrible job fixing the front end of my car. The bumper on both sides still sticks out a little bit. They said they would keep us updated by text every Tuesday & Thursday. We had to call them every time. They said my car would be ready on Friday so we call & they say oh it's ready but we just need to put the mirror cap & hood paint on........so it's not done. We don't want the car if it's not 100% done. So they tell us oh Monday it'll be ready. We call they say yeah it's ready we go to pick it up & well the same things that weren't done on the Friday are still not done. So we bring it to their attention & they said oh we can put the mirror cap on & buff out the paint. Which takes about 15/20 mins that we have to wait for the car to be done! I would have never took my car here if the insurance company didn't set up the appointment. I'm very disappointed in the work that was done on my car!!!!! read more

Worst place ever. I decided to go here after I got T boned because a friend of mine got a job there after they opened. I thought I would help a friend out. Well big mistake. After my my car was in the shop for 3.5 months to get fixed, I got a phone call from one of the owners I believe it was saying the yard was broken into and my catalytic converter was stolen off of my car and I needed to call my insurance company and report it. I'm sorry what? It's not my fault and it's on your lot therefore you need to report it with your insurance. But being a new company they didn't want a claim so I had to do it. They did however pay the deductible but wtf? Anyways after another month I finally get a call a call saying my car is being detailed and can be picked up. I pick it up and it had maybe a bit at most been wiped down with a dry cloth. It still had dust from sitting outside and the crayon writing stuff on the car. Also after seeing it in the light I noticed that they didn't even match the paint. They did plain black when my car is black with cherry tint and flake so I have a total unmatched paint job on my car. Also there is still a gap in the door jamb so you can hear the wind. So heck no I do NOT recommend this terrible place. read more

i WILL NEVER BRING ANY CAR HERE EVER AGAIN! THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL! i initially took my car to get inspected at another shop. they wrote a report on what was wrong with the car. they gave me a copy. i then took it to this shop which was covered by insurance. i gave them the report that the other shop gave me and made a copy of that. this shop took their sweet time working on my car. did a horrible job at communicating with me. when i picked up the car it was still making the same noise it was after the incident. i called them and told them the problem was never fixed. when i dropped the car off again they told me what the problem was but that was already stated in the report from the other shops paperwork. so what you're telling me you NEVER fixed the problem?! this shop was bringing my car to another shop to see of they can work on it. i had called them to see if they already took the car to the other shop. they told me they already dropped the car. i called the shop they were supposed to bring it to and they said my car wasnt there. so you loe about the location of my car and now they are lying to my insurance company saying that the problem was caused after they told me to pick up my car. another thing when i brought it back they said they dont work on foreign cars. but if you knew that why didnt you state that before working on my car ?! now im going back and forth with my insurance! this is ridiculous. and what shop makes you pay before working on your car ?! read more
