We lived the first several years in our home with a yard we didn't like very much. We had a lot of outdated and impractical features, plants that weren't thriving, and a drip system that sprung a leak about once a week. My wife works in real estate and has come into contact with A LOT of landscapers, but Jose Gonzalez was the one she chose to come make our wish list and sketches a reality. It couldn't have gone better. All the old poly drip tubing ripped out and replaced with sturdy PVC pipe. All new rock, plants, planters, landscape lighting, trees, and lush new artificial turf. Absolutely beautiful stone and masonry work. G&S can do it all! And everything they did, they did quickly and well. So much attention to detail! A few years on now we get regular compliments about how beautiful the yard is- front and back! It's gone from an eye-sore to a place of Zen and relaxation. We look forward to spending time in our yard now, in a way we never have in any other place we've lived. Having a nice yard has dramatically increased the number of people we can comfortably entertain, especially in the beautiful Arizona Falls, Winters, and Springs. It's almost like we added square footage to the house. G&S wasn't the cheapest landscaper out there, but he was worth it. We've never regretted the money we spent having them come to totally refurbish our outdoor living experience. G&S is a great investment, and we'd recommend them to anybody. read more

I was struggling to get a response to my request for a backyard remodel until I reached out to Jose with G&S. I left a request for quote with G & S at 7pm and received a call back no more than 5 min later. Jose came out provided a quote to do stucco work, painting, and remove landscape around my pool and install synthetic turf. There was some obstacles as I was having my pool remodeled at the same time. Jose with G & S was amazing when it came to working around this and tackling the unforeseen issues with the existing drainage system. The communication was spot on throughout the project and that was very important to me, especially with all the changes. I would absolutely, 100% recommend these folks to do your backyard projects. Jose from G & S Landscaping along with his helper Miguel did a fantastic job on our block wall repair. Jose came out and gave us an estimate and his final billing was right on the money. Over the course of about five days they demoed the damaged 30 ft section of wall, rebuilt the new wall and painted to match the existing wall color. They matched the stucco texture perfectly and the paint was a near perfect match. They cleaned up everything when done. Jose was excellent at communicating when he and Miguel would be arriving to work, and was true to his word each time. G & S does a wide variety of landscaping jobs as you can see from their website, so I highly recommend them for all your landscaping needs. Jose responded quickly to my request, came out to look at the job, and gave me a reasonable quote to get the job done. I had a random window from my kitchen to my garage that I wanted to remove for more wall space in the kitchen. Jose bricked up the garage side of the opening within a week of me contacting him. Jose gave me a very competitive price for a replacement of our irrigation system using pvc, which is much more reliable than the polyethylene that was used when we built the home. He and his crew were polite and considerate, working very hard and finishing in the time frame he estimated.
