He was super accommodating with the first meeting time being at the very end of the day due to my work schedule. He brought all the shingle samples with him so it was easy to visualize especially because at that time I didn't get the official approval from HOA. He was easy to talk to and sounds like an honest person. He took his time to explain every aspect of the replacement process. Since I had to get HOA approval and get my finances sorted out it took maybe a month or so. Even then he was available to help me make the choice of the type of roof to meet the HOA requirement. I give Chris 10/10 Installation process: After submitting the deposit it took 1 week to get the roof replacement started. They call you a couple of days or so to see if its possible to start on the project. You are not required to be at home for the project so this made it easy for me. They came with their equipment, dumpsters and supplies and were able to start on the project without delay. One anomaly for me was my 1 day project turned to 2 days due to staff shortage which did not affect me. Daniel A from the company keep me updated on any issues or changes via email and phone call. They also took pictures of any additional fix they made and also the final product. Overall, the whole process was painless as it should be since replacing a roof is a big deal. BRAX advertises a twenty five year workmanship warranty, but when their own installed flashing…read morefailed, they shifted blame to the skylight to avoid honoring it. What good is a warranty if they'll find any reason not to stand behind their work. It almost feels like their warranty exists as an opportunity to generate more business rather than honor a promise, since instead of standing behind their work, they make excuses and then turn around and offer additional paid services to fix the very problem their warranty should already cover. We had BRAX Roofing replace our roof back in 2021. Recently we discovered a leak near one of our skylights that caused interior wood rot. We first contacted a skylight specialist, who confirmed the skylight itself was fine, these typically last around thirty years, and told us the leak was likely a flashing issue that should be covered under our roofing warranty. Following that advice, we contacted BRAX. Two of their inspectors came out first and confirmed new flashing would be installed. Their production manager, Daniel Angel, personally confirmed the same, that they'd replace the flashing and repair the rotted wood, and they even arrived with lumber to do the repair, then took it away without explanation. Today we received an email from Boris Cardenas, a managing partner at BRAX, saying they are not responsible, now claiming the leak is from the skylight's gasket rather than the flashing, contradicting everything their own staff told us. Throughout this process, it's felt like an emotional rollercoaster, we were told repeatedly that this would be fixed, watched them bring materials to do the repair, then had those materials quietly taken away without any explanation, and now we're being told none of it is even covered. We feel misled and deeply disappointed after paying for a full roof replacement.

Construction regularly begins as early as 6:00 AM, or even earlier, which is ILLEGAL under D.C. construction regulations. The noise includes intense drilling, hammering, and pipe work, which shakes my entire apartment and wakes me up every morning. This has been going on for over a month with no improvement. Despite multiple complaints from residents, including myself, and repeated outreach from my building's management, Potomac has remained unresponsive and unwilling to make any meaningful changes. They've acknowledged the issue but have failed to offer solutions, stick to a communicated schedule, or even update those affected. What's worse is their blatant disregard for the community they're working in. Promises made to residents about noise start times and accommodations have been broken repeatedly. They've provided misleading information about their actions and continue to drill into concrete directly beneath living spaces during prohibited hours, putting our building management in an awful position with residents who are understandably upset. Potomac has proven to be inflexible, unaccountable, and indifferent to the people living around their projects. If you're a property developer, building owner, or property management company and care even slightly about your tenants' quality of life, look elsewhere. Potomac has shown no interest in following laws, honoring their own work schedule, or being a responsible neighbor.

Most of the attendees at these meetings were the same people so everyone knew what we discussed at previous meetings so we could dive right into new topics. These guys are real pros and know how to plan and execute a project. The project is going smoothly and the team from Potomac has consistently delivered and followed up.
