Nick later told me that I didn't need an alternator replaced but instead a new battery. He then sent a new estimate which was even more than the previous one. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and told him not to do any further work. I then asked what I owed at that time. He said that they changed out the battery and it was $400. They charged me $400 to swap my car battery...that to me is outrageous !!!!

The mechanic also did diagnostic and found no codes. They did compression test and found 2 broken plugs, replaced plugs and truck ran better. When I picked it up they Charged me $345.00. I got less than a mile away and check engine light came on. I called them and they said to bring it back so I did. It then showed EGR code which Is the exhaust gas recirculating valve. It is controlled by vacuum lines and an electrical signal. They told me that it was a coincidence and the only thing they could do was to replace exhaust manifolds and associated parts for $2400. I was very unhappy and wanted them to show me what they had done. Roger came out smelling of alcohol and belligerent. He told me that I would have to go get $345 more in cash before he would release my truck, because I messed with him and he was going to mess with me. I called the troopers and asked them to meet me there, because I was worried it would get ugly with him. He then said they would refund the money to my card. Long story to say that I wouldn't recommend this place.

Even if you can stomach the constant nickel and diming, they can't even do the job correctly. Valve cores half installed, tire pressures incorrect, terrible balancing, and damaged lug nuts are par for the course at this joke of a business. Negative 5 stars.

I had an appointment for tire changeover this morning…read more I went to the Swanson Ave location. Driving along N. Tommy Moe Dr. an employee got out of his car from the parking lot and ran out into the street right in front of me so I had to hit my brakes pretty hard to avoid hitting him. He darted into the employee entrance door in the back of the building. This guy literally played frogger running into traffic. I went to the tire shop. There was a sign on the front door that said the tire changeover is to be checked in at the front desk of the other building. So I went to the other building. The skinny white woman at the counter mumbled when she spoke so I couldn't tell what she was saying. She also barely moves her lips when she speaks like a ventriloquist. She was very grouchy and rude. I was able to decipher that she was telling me that my appointment was at the other building and pointed to the building next door. So I walked over to the building next-door, which was the building I had initially went to with the sign telling me to go to another building. The ill tempered Burnett lady inside told me that I need to go back to the first building and pointed me towards the other building. I told her they had just sent me over here. She turned around and walked away. So I begin walking again across the parking lot towards the other building and this time a third employee with bad posture was walking out the door and met me in the parking lot. He told me that there was another location near Carrs where my appointment was. (He was also rude And grouchy as well, but at least he told me what I needed to know. This information would've been helpful at the very beginning).
