    Sticky Wings (Daily Special)
    Josh T.

Grabbed some lunch while at the Waterfront Festival. Took advantage of the beautiful day and sat on the roof deck overlooking the Plymouth Harbor. Our wait was short and our server was excellent. We grabbed some Frozen Frappaccinos (1 non alcoholic which they made no issues) and they were awesome. We went with the Sticky Wings for an appetizer (which were the daily special) and they were phenomenal. We both ordered the Fesh Catch Sandwich: Blackened Mahi and it was great. The Onion Rings were awesome too.

Lousy expensive house salad. All lettuce.

please do not order salads from this place . I rarely call and complaint but I did got this situation. This house salad was over 2O dollars. I spoke with the manager and also showed her the picture only to have her call back and basically say it was fine. She quoted how ever many ounces of tomatoe and chopped cucumbers they put in and said it it the way they always serve them. The few chopped up onions and cucumbers that I needed to search for is what they have affirmed is "that's the way we alsoways make them ". Poor customer service too. Huge rip off

Spent the week in Plymouth and visited Cabby Shack twice. The ambiance is nice. They have a calendar outside that informs you of who will be performing during the day. Both times during the week they had live music with great musicians and a beautiful view of the harbor behind them. Upon arrival you're attended by the host who seats you and the waitress comes pretty quickly to take your order. When we first visited we had the Reuben and steak bomb pizza, both were amazing. We sat outside and enjoyed the view right beside the performers. Today we sat partially inside. We ordered the World Famous Clam Chowder, it was thick, the spoon stayed stuck just like everyone said it would. We also ordered the Buttermilk Chicken Stack sandwich, didn't really enjoy the it so we opt for pepperoni pizza instead. The lobster roll was really fresh. Overall Cabby Shack is a great restaurant if you're specifically in that area. It was great enough for us to visit twice.

Food: just okay, nothing to write home about Drinks: cant speak on it, only had water. Vibe: entertaining Cleanliness: Staff: took a while for a waiter to come to our table (15-20 min after sitting) but when she did, she was great. I went on a monday night after driving for mini getaway. Monday night happens to be karaoke night which was a nice, fun surprise. DJ was very versatile. Calamari and clam chowder was good. Also when I say we waited for 15 min for a waiter to come, I mean no one came to say I will be right with you or anything, just kept walking past us. That was a little annoying but again once we got a waiter, she was great. Thanks Sophia!

My friends and I stopped by CabbyShack before the 4th of July fireworks. It was super busy and the vibes were great. Somehow we were able to find a few seats at the bar. I love the location, right near the waterfront, and you can even see the views at a distance from the bar. I would recommend coming here for the drinks, but not necessarily the food. The bartenders were great and got the drinks out quickly, even with the big crowds. I'd love to come back another time when they have some live music!

I had an appointment in Plymouth that finished a little earlier than I had planned and decided to use the extra time to sample some of the area's exclusive cuisine. A quick Google search brought me to CabbyShack, a "casual waterfront spot famed for chowder, pizza & lobster plus a roof deck & live music some nights." After I paid to park, three bucks for 90 minutes, I made my way through the front doors to be greeted by an oceanside version of "Cheers" with an updated splash of Saved by the Bell's "The Max". Bright colors and unique decor, plenty of seating both inside and out, a bar lined with stools, and the "just right" amount of lighting gave the impression that a patron could have just as much of a good time dining with a group of friends as they could having a few drinks at the bar. A young woman with a welcoming smile advised me to pick anywhere to sit, inside or out, and let me know a "server will be with you shortly". It was a little chilly out, right under 60°, so my wife and I opted for a tall table with a window view of the ocean. Seconds later a man of pure hospitality and class appeared at our table to take our drink orders and offer us menus. With so many delectable options to choose from I decided to let my wife pick my plate and once again, she nailed it. Although I was kind of hoping she'd opt for one of the signature pizzas (The Dexta looked especially mouth watering) I was not disappointed in her choice. When the waiter arrived a few minutes after placing our order I was presented with The Captain's Plate; "A hearty platter of fresh fish, whole belly clams, sea scallops, shrimp, onion rings, french fries & coleslaw". A deep fried ensemble of some of New England's signature seafood fare. The closer I get to 40 the more I realize that deep fried foods aren't as easy to recover from as they were in my 20s, but that didn't stop me from devouring almost all of the main course. More than enough food to fill up two or four people, each individual element was frizzled to an immaculate state of dining bliss. Crunchy batter enveloped juicy, fresh, tender chunks of meat and vegetables. The onion rings had a homemade batter that rivaled any I'd had before. The French fries evoked potato clouds wrapped in a crisp, golden shell. The fish, the shrimp, the scallops, the clams...all tasted like they had been caught that very morning right before sunrise. Sure, if I'd had known what awaited me I would have opted for a steamed or boiled option, I've gotta watch my cholesterol at this age, however, I was anything but disappointed in her decision. Our glasses stayed full, our server was attentive, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, and the price was on point for the amount of food and the quality of service we received. May not be a regular stop, it's an hour from home, but definitely worth revisiting when we return to the area. My only complaint is with myself, I should've bought the hand-carved, monkey head, coconut cup for the ultimate reminder of a spectacular New England feasting experience.

Fried Clam Strips French Fries and coleslaw the food was delicious I would get this plate again and it was well worth it

Absolutely wonderful experience. Went the Thursday before Labor Day weekend so it was rather busy but we were seated right away on the rooftop deck. Wait staff accommodated us with a sleeping toddler; they were respectful and helpful. The beer & cocktail selection was excellent but of course their famous clam chowder doesn't have words to describe its deliciousness (is that even a word??). They are one of the few restaurants in the area that had steamers on the menu which were the best I've ever had. The best part was the steamed lobster special. As a lobster-lover, the lobster was tender and sweet. But the price was so affordable; under $30 with two sides. It was so good. Great experience.

Cabby Shack has a fun beach vibe, even in December. The Speakeasies were playing and the place was hoppin. The Speakeasies brought their unique take on covers of blues, soul, and other musical genres. Our amazing server took our order, got it promptly, took care of special requests, and checked in often to see if we needed anything. Although it was busy, she was friendly, and looked like she enjoyed her job. The House Sangria did not disappoint, although it was a bit sweet. The Clam "Chowdah" was thick and creamy and the Walnut Salad was delicious. The Haddock "Horiatiki" Tacos have an interesting olive feta spread and are topped with tzatziki. The sweet pecan pie seemed huge, but it was so tasty we finished it in record time. We will surely return to try the other tempting menu items.

I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

Bottom line... it doesn't get much better than Dillon's Local…read more My only gripe is that it's a little small, so if your timing isn't right, you might be waiting for a table -- but honestly, that's part of the charm. It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!
