Well G-QUE BBQ is great no matter which location you choose. This is my first time here at this location and the Food and Service was amazing as usual. Outdoor dining is available and the neighborhood ambiance is warm and welcoming. The weekly special was Pork Belly Burnt Ends and Coconut Curry Wings and they were both over the top tasty. Looking for the BEST BBQ then look no further than G-QUE

The brisket was tender, juicy and delicious. The mac and cheese was pretty good too. Nothing to really rave about. Service was exceptional. Everyone was acknowledged immediately with a happy smiling face. The cashier was very patient with me, as this was my first visit.

This was the last stop on our Denver adventure after being in town for the Dodgers game. Best food we had during our trip hands down. The star of the show is the smoked meats. The brisket, wings, and ribs were all top notch. The sauces were all on point. The customer service is AMAZING. The staff if very attentive and helpful, and checked on us alot. Its a nice, clean establishment, and they even have an ice cream shop inside the restaurant. I have to keep it real though, the sides were just ok. The baked beans were OK, the garlic mashed potatoes were OK, but I would not recommend the mac n cheese at all. I don't take my mac n cheese lightly, especially since I make killer mac. This wasnt much better than Kraft. Still, this is definitely a 5 star joint. 1 recommendation i would make, put what meats come with the family platter. Because on the menu it just says meats, so we picked brisket and ribs, and that increased the price by $30

I'm originally from Oklahoma, so I mainly grew up on Texas-style BBQ so I was really excited to see what GQue was all about. GQue is nestled in Belmar, Lakewood in a very walkable area. There is paid street parking around the front and side, but I would recommend using the parking lot behind where the DSW and Hobby Lobby are. Indoor seating is plentiful and there is also outdoor patio seating for when the weather is nice. They don't offer plates so ordering is more à la carte style. The staff was super nice and explained everything, even certain events and discounts with local sports teams! I asked if it was more Texas, Kansas City, Atlanta style and he said "Nah this is Colorado style!!" I went with my usual order of pork ribs (I started with just 3) and 1/4lb sliced brisket, with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and pit smoked beans. The ribs are a must. They fell off the bone and had this nice carmelization on the outside that gave just the right amount of sweetness. As for the sliced brisket, I like mine to have a little fat on them and this serving don't have much (I did a to-go order a few days later and the brisket was PERFECT for that order). They have 3 sauces on the table: Original Sweet & Savory, Hottish, and Gold Zesty mustard. Hottish was the one for me, and don't worry it doesn't have much of a kick to it but less sweet than the original. The zesty mustard just wasn't my style. If you're a garlic person, you'll want to grab the mashed potatoes, and they have some skin left on the so it was so delicious. The pit fried beans were alright, and that might just be a Me thing due to texture...they seemed a little dry but you should definitely try them out!!! Overall, great place in Belmar with friendly staff and good quality BBQ with a unique Colorado technique!

5 stars hands down a favorite bbq spot for colorado!!!! Service is always great, quick and friendly. The ambiance is chill-- not too busy not too quiet. The food consistently flavorful and delicious. I think the only bad part is when they run out of food, but can you really be that mad? Running out of food = fresh food and that is always the best.

Tried GQue for the first time at their Lakewood location! Good BBQ in Colorado is rare and GQue is definitely a solid option! Restaurant is order at the counter, fast casual style. My partner and I tried the brisket sandwich, turkey sandwich, and a side of beans. I really enjoyed the flavor and moistness of the turkey and trying all the BBQ sauces! If you can make turkey taste that good, you're doing something right! My favorite sauce was the original but they all had their place! Staff were attentive and kept the restaurant clean. Cashier kid was patient and kind. There was limited seating for the evening dinner rush.

My experience here was so unexpectedly wonderful. I came in for a midday snack on a Sunday and opted to try the wings of the week, maple bourbon dry rub, and a side of seasoned fries. I was blown away. The dry rub was perfectly crispy and juicy, with the maple and bourbon flavors really shining through, and the clear superiority of the smoked wings shining. The fries were also delicious, I got five wings and the fries for only $13, and it filled me up perfectly. The staff was also so friendly, with multiple people coming to check on me during my meal and making sure we had everything we needed I come to Belmar all the time, but this little gem was hiding in the back, in such a cute corner building with lots of natural light and a fun decor. Everything was also very clean and sanitary, which can be hard when places share communal squeeze bottle sauces like this one does. Kudos. I will definitely be coming through here more regularly now that I know !

Great dinner experience the other night. Extremely friendly, helpful staff- thank you!! The restaurant was clean and we didn't wait long for service or for our food to be delivered to the table- which is huge when you're having a slightly later than you should dinner be having dinner with a toddler. Our sandwiches were really tasty and the fries were perfection. My favorite sauce was the sweet and spicy one- yum!! However, the mustard based sauce was outstanding on the sausage.

Incredible Food Service and Energy. Weekly special that are killer! And the rest of the menu is amazing too!

The brisket was good, but it wasn't as soft soft Tinder melt in your mouth as it usually is. But like I said before, it was doable plus the one dollar happy hour beers, It turned out all right. Aubry, the young lady working the register and the dining room area was simply wonderful with a great attitude and definitely willing to help. The ambience was perfect. It was clean and the music was on point.

G-Que BBQ is easily one of the best barbecue spots I've tried in Colorado (I haven't had many). The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of smoke. The ribs had a nice bite to them and they also had a rich, savory bark that really stood out. Sausage had a great snap and seasoning. The jalapeño wasn't too much heat at all. The mac and cheese was creamy, satisfying, and uniquely flavored. I destroyed it. Easily the perfect side. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated how everything was clearly marked on the menu, making it easy to order even for a first timer. Their "'til it's gone" policy is no joke, especially if you're planning to come later in the day, be prepared that some items might sell out. That said, it's a sign of how popular and fresh the food is. I'd definitely recommend G-Que for anyone looking for high quality BBQ in a relaxed setting. Great for groups, quick lunches, or a laid back dinner.

The restaurant had plenty of seats so we were able to get a table quickly. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking options. When we went, you would park on the other side of the restaurant and then walk around to get to the actual entrance facing the street. Ordering is down through a paper menu in which you check off what you would like and then hand to the service worker. Service was fast and attentive, and the restaurant feels like a quick casual dine in type of vibe. We ordered a decent amount of dumplings to try, which I'll review down below: Dumplings ($13 - $14): We got two different types of dumplings, the Yuzu chicken soup dumplings and the pan fried fish and cabbage dumplings. Flavor-wise, they are both pretty pleasant! One critique for the soup dumplings is that they are super fragile, and the dumpling skin rips really easily as they were sticking even when they came out, so you may unfortunately lose a good amount of soup try to enjoy them. As for the fillings, they are pretty uniform in texture and have a pleasant mouth feel to eat. You can definitely taste the yuzu in the yuzu dumplings and the flavor in both dumplings are fragrant. Stewed Pork Belly Noodle ($14): A pretty solid bowl of noodles! There is a generous amount of pork that we were able to split between multiple people. I like that there is a decent amount of bok choy and radish in the dish to contrast with the flavorful and really tender pork belly. I think that if I were to order only this dish, it would fill me up to a comfortable level of fullness. The soup has a subtle porky flavor and the noodles have a decent amount of chewiness. Wood Ear Mushroom Salad ($6.50): I am a fan - we ordered this to help contrast with the dumplings and serve as a palate cleanser in addition to being an appetizer. There is a nice acidity in the dressing and the wood ears are crunchy and aren't too rubbery. It does say spicy on the menu, but it's more of a very mild spice. In the end, I think that Mason's Dumpling Shop is a pretty solid dumpling restaurant in Lakewood, and we spent about $25 per person for every thing here. Which I think is a good price for the variety. I would definitely revisit and try the other options they have here if I'm ever back in Lakewood!

Nestled within the bustling streets of Belmar, parking can be a little tight. However, there are free lots near and street parking for a small fee. The space itself is sleek, modern and exudes an upscale vibe, one I wasn't expecting from the name alone. Seating is scattered throughout, leather booths with lamps, trendy furniture and cozy nooks for cocktails - the most fun vibe! We were greeted by a woman who brought us to a smallish table in the center of the dining area and our server approached shortly after. She welcomed us, brought us beverages (iced tea for me!) and was complimentary of our orders. When asked if the fries or chips were a better accompaniment to my meal, she said "people like both", which wasn't super helpful, as I was expecting a little more personal taste. She visited us a few times throughout our meal, giving the bill right away - which I found to be a little awkward and making us feel rushed. However, we took our time to enjoy our meals. The menu is huge, and the food is GOOD! I had a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to eat, but settled on the turkey sandwich, which was on the best bread and loaded with everything yummy! The description and picture online didn't match what I received, but it was delicious, nonetheless. My friend opted for a burger on a GF bun, which she seemed to enjoy in that moment. My one pet peeve is when servers don't write down orders - thinking they can remember all the details, despite having multiple tables - and my friend's order came out incorrect. Her fully gluten bun was on her burger and although she had requested a GF bun, we had waited about 30 min for our food and didn't realize until she took the first few bites. Sigh. Pricing is bit high, but inflation, the quality of ingredients and presentation make up for that. Despite my friends' experience, with T Street so close to the office, I can easily see myself returning for another lunch out!

I really love ribs and never make them at home, so when I see it on a BBQ menu it always catches my eye. As far as the portion size is concerned, you will not go home hungry here! Caveman ribs with plenty of meat on the bone. Unfortunately I really didn't love the flavor of the ribs. The two sauces I picked out (Memphis and hot) also weren't doing it for me. There was some smoke and bark, and though they were meaty, it really fell flat. It was underseasoned and the sauces didn't liven it up like I was hoping. Sad to say, the mac and cheese I got for my side was also supbar. It felt like eating macaroni without the cheese. Watery, thin, and not much flavor. I hate that I didn't love the food, because the two people behind the counter were so nice. It was pretty slow inside for a Friday. For my money, there are better BBQ options in town. I love hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop joints, this one just didn't deliver flavor wise for me.
