Stopped by here for lunch since it's right near my house and was pleasantly surprised at the cozy feel of this little shop. The menu is still handwritten on a chalkboard and gives it an authentic local field. They have a ton of delicious sounding options, I couldn't choose I ended up going with the larger size French dip, sub, especially after looking at pictures on here. When it came out, it was a little more scrawny than I thought it would be, but the flavors were delicious, and the French dip was seasoned to perfection. I would have loved a little more meat and a harder sandwich, but I was still really happy with the value for money and the quality of the food - it wasn't expensive at all. They had seating both inside and outside, it was a sunny day in spring so we decided to have our sandwiches outside. The whole vibe and experience was nice and I'll definitely be back. read more

I've sampled some of their subs at a Yelp event years ago, and always wanted to make it back. We walked in and were greeted immediately, perused the menu and opted for the special of the week - the Turkey Bacon with a spicy cream cheese. We sat at one of the slightly dirty table (they were all a little crumb-y) with a view out the front windows and dusted it off before we dug in. The bread was wonderfully soft, there was a generous amount of meat and other fresh fillings, and the cream cheese was SPICY! We sniffled through the entire meal and demolished our subs, debated ordering another one to go for dinner to try something else, then headed out for the long drive home. I love subs. Specifically, I love Italian subs. On my trip to Denver, we decided that subs were the takeout option for lunch. I of course, opted for an Italian and it was so good. The bread has the perfect mix of a bit of flakiness but soft as well. The sub was STACKED with meat and all the toppings. I specifically loved the hot pepper mix I added to my sub. My friend's sandwich looked amazing also. If you're in the area and looking for a sub, I would try out Stack's. They've been voted best sandwich in Denver for 6 years in a row, so if that isn't reason enough to check them out, I'm not sure what is! read more

Love me a good sub! STACK didn't disappoint! This was our first time and had food delivered (will visit the store next time). I had the hot pastrami with spicy mayo. VERY good! The mayo was indeed spicy and gave me a nice little forehead sweat! There was an ample amount of meat and just the right amount of veggies. Wife had the tuna and said it was really good. My sandwich was STACKED with turkey and slathered with all good stuff. I chose a large because I wanted to have some leftovers for later, and I definitely got what I was looking for. Yelp did an event here , so decide to try them out. Pro tip! Park before or near Teller street because it's right around the corner. I had trouble finding Tuesday at 8pm since there is only street parkinf available right near by. Once I kind of found parking, went inside. They had my order ready to go since I called ahead. I got the large tuna sandwich with chips and a drink. The bread tastes fresh and slightly toasted, the tuna was good quality as well. There was a good amount of filling to bread. Did I mention I love round foods? One of the unique things about STACK is that its signature sub is round! Who says a sub has to be "footlong"? I upgraded mine with a pretzel roll and it added even more uniqueness to the sandwich. It was 30 min before closing when I picked up my order and the turkey inside my sub was every bit as fresh as if this was when they first opened. The shop is actually really spacious and filled with good sandwich smells. Would be a place to hang out post-covid! Let alone it being so close to ShareTea and the movie theater. I had a Lime La Croix to wash evverything down, it really complimented my Turkey Bacon Special which had a little kick to it thanks to STACK's homemade spicy spread. 7/3/24-We stopped in here before the area got busy for the festival. The subs were super pricey for the size and they don't fill them very well. Then when we sat down to eat we noticed how dirty the place was. Even though they had staff just standing around talking, tables needed cleaned and the floor swept. If the place was in that condition when it wasn't busy it makes me wonder how bad it gets when they are. Location is in a nice shopping district. 2 young adult guys working and guy who took our order was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Here's a breakdown of the sandwiches we ordered: French dip- Au Ju was highlight. Super tasty! Turkey Bacon- Add the avocado. It was so good. Kids ham and cheese- Good portion for kids size. Could be for adult who is not too hungry. Cesar Salad- Dressing was tasty but they didn't give very much in comparison to the size of the salad. Ask for extra dressing. 4 rating because the portions of the sandwiches were a little on the lighter side. We got 6 inch but it didn't fill me up. Yum! I don't eat a ton of subs due to feeling like sandwiches can be boring, however, this spot is so good! I love that everything is toasted. Toasted sandwiches just taste so much better. They have gluten free, vegetarian and dairy/free vegan options (hold the cheese). We had Signature Stack Sandwich and a Turkey Bacon on a pretzel bun. The Turkey Bacon had a little bit of heat to add flavor but not too much. The Signature Stack was meaty and yummy. I LOVE that they have black olives as a topping. I'm a huge olive fan! Delicious sandwiches. My go to is the turkey, bacon and pesto sandwich. It's very flavorful and it always leaves me wanting more. The prices aren't my favorite for a sandwich but there's nothing like theirs so it's usually a treat when I go. When you walk in, it feels good (for a sandwich shop). It's got Colorado themed pictures on the wall, but the menu isn't 100% perfect. It's only an OK price, and to boot they only offer three cheeses, none of which I favor. Maybe if they offered Monterey cheeses I would pay the extra price for the larger sandwiches. "I've never seen lettuce so nice" was not something I thought I'd say about a sandwich but it happened. I picked up my order instead of delivery around lunchtime (noon) and only saw a couple of people. They implemented physical distancing guidelines, everyone wore a mask, and my order was ready for me when I walked in. Very nice, I had the YES! Meal at Stacks Subs through Yelp and I'm glad I did. My regular Italian sub was the most orderly, neat sandwich I've ever had. I especially enjoyed the lettuce which was cut into much thinner strips that I've usually seen and can't get over it for some reason. Genius and efficiently executed. Overall, it was a real great sandwich but I do wish it had more meat. (Though I imagine that's a common request for sandwich shops) I knocked it down a star because while the sandwiches are good and the staff is friendly they still don't have that special something that other sandwich shops have like a wider variety menu or special sauces. I discovered this AMAZING place thanks to a post that YelpColorado did on Instagram! A HUGE Shoutout to that feature, this place is AMAZING! I've been to this place a handful of times in just a month and every single time they deliver. Their reuben, french dip and spicy turkey sandwich have been my go tos. I want to venture out and try the other sandwiches too but these 3 are just soooooooo good. The meat, vegetables and bread all come together to make the perfect sandwich. The ratios are all on point as well as the service! Covid note: The staff were all wearing masks and gloves! They also kept people 6ft apart while waiting. It was 70% veggie/bread, 15% sauce, 10% meat, 5% displeased. The ratios in the sub were off, needs more meat, to balance out. They did get me for outstanding services. Younger employees could benefit from some customer service training -- for example, greeting people when they enter the shop or while standing directly in front of them at the counter for over a minute. YUMMM!! My sandwich was delicious! I got the turkey bacon special sub. The turkey was good, bacon was a little absent but still a good touch to the sandwich. The jalapeños were spicy and I loved it.
