I wish I could leave a No-Star but I can't so 1 will have to do. Where to begin with this place...I came on a Saturday around Noon with both my old car and new car to have my sound system(bass knob, amp, 1 woof in box) moved over and to purchase a new head unit with Blue tooth(140$) also for the new car. We came back around 3 when it was suppose to be finished and they hadn't even touched it yet because the guys were on lunch break. I warned them that I had to work later at 5 and had to get it moving along. Hours later they took my car back did the installation only to figure out that my new car needed a dash kit(40$) that they need to purchase in order to fit the head unit into the car properly. I was already late to work and had to call in. They told me that they thought I was staying till 7 even though I told two people I had work at 5. They told me to come back Monday first thing so they could get the dash kit and finish the install. They took even more time on Saturday because they had to re install my old dash kit with stock stereo since they couldn't finish the new one yet. I was ready to leave already an hour plus late to work and the Manager said I had to pay because all of the work and installation was already done. When I first came they told me 290$ for everything being the head unit(140) and labor(150) to take the system out from my old car and put it into the new car. The price he gave me now was 340$ that I had to pay then and there even though the new headunit and dash kit I also had to pay for was not installed purchased or ready to go. In a rush and angry I just paid the money on my card and left. I came back first thing on Monday and waited some more. Apparently they had got the dash kit for my car but had to go back again to get the brackets also needed to install and I was stuck waiting there for that. Also in a hurry that day to get my windows tinted at Tint City, they tried convincing me to do the tint there. Hours later they finally finished installing everything but they didn't care how long it took or that I had to wait because they already got my money on Saturday so I wasn't a priority anymore. I was also an hour late to my tint appointment and had to push that back because they took so long. I found the same head unit I bought online and told them it was only 100~110 but they said the rest was to install. I was already paying 150$ alone for the install so how does that extra money slide in there for the same installation I paid for? Two years prior I found my paperwork from when they first installed my sound system that I bought from a friend and I only paid 80$ and now two years later its 150$ and I told them whats up with that? He said it was a lot more work to be done and included all the other stuff too which was complete bullshit. They will rip you off and take you for all the money they can even if you know better and say something it doesn't matter. The worst part of the bill was that he just wrote the total for 340$ not including the break down of anything or what I actually purchased so he could have just made that number up too. There was no way in hell I would let them tint my windows let alone do my sound system again for the price they charged me but it was too late and already done with and such a big hasle there's nothing I could do but warn you guys and never go back myself. Unless you are a sucker and want to get ripped off and taken for a fool for your money go right ahead...Stay away this place is a joke and they are a bunch of rats. read more

sadly the better reviews are from their friends and associates or a female.(it's a all male staff, of course they were nice to the women...me too lol) but in all seriousness. I have been taking cars here for a long time as well as my friends and family but we all have had some bad experience with them at G-sound at some point. After more than 5 years of having these guys do sound on my toys and cars. I finally have seen their true colors... they regularly make mistakes and I promise you will return to have them fix just read some more reviews even in the good reviews people had to return for mistakes or damaged equipment. Don't waste your money or time go to a real sound shop.... at the end of the day Gsound could care less... After years as a faithful customer (mistakes and all) I had one very cheap fix recently and asked them to fix it and they refused... IN FACT THEY DENIED HAVING EVER SEEN OR WORKED ON MY CAR...... If you care about yourself, cars, toys, or customers take the time to look around for quality work...... I assure you quality work is not at G-sound. Only disrespect and a headache they are known for now.....I now have seen quality work .... If G-sound makes a mistake THEY WILL DENY WORKING ON YOUR CAR ENTIRELY and go the extra mile to save the pocket change they apparently didn't get from 5 years and 9 cars ( I sell used cars occasionally ) and not to mention the crazy amount of business my family has taken them over the years. I hope it was worth the mass amounts of money they are going to lose.................A BUSINESS CANNOT EDIT OR DELETE REVIEWS ON YELP..... I have been coming here a long time with various cars through the years. My latest experiences at G Sound have left me with a great impression of these guys, both Jesse and especially Junior are awesome and give great advice about how to upgrade your system. I am a single guy and can't spend a lot but want good quality components and craftsmanship, both of which G Sound provides. I just recently took my Prius in to get the speakers replaced and they sounded GREAT. Junior really helped me pick something out that was cost effective and sounded good. I don't listen to music with a lot of bass but when I picked the car up Jesse suggested I get a small sub with box to add to the sound. I was so impressed with the work they did that I raved about them to my brother and he got me store credit for Christmas. I soon thereafter went back to them with an idea on what I wanted to do and Junior suggested a small sub in box would work great and really fill out the sound in the car. Although skeptical at first he helped get the levels just right and I couldn't be happier with the sound. Although they have been good in the past they have really raised the bar with great service equipment without over charging. If you are looking to upgrade your system and want quality without paying an arm and a leg go check these guys out. Well worth your time and money! read more

Guys are nice but nice doesn't make up for poor sloppy work. Drilled through my roll bar covers. One side has only one screw instead of three and the other side has two screws and a big sharp Burr where a screw should be. Thought they could getaway with it but top is off and I'm extremely unhappy. If negative stars were available I'd rate g sound a minus 3 out of 5 read more

Do not go their!!! They messed up the wiring which made the screen on my navigation have a glitch an made popping in my stereo and messed up the interior in my trunk installing the speaker box an amp...I read other reviews here an the same thing happen to multiple people! The owner is very nice. The installer made a very minor dent or scratch on the door trim, and the owner ordered the part and replaced it without any questions when I went back to the store an hour afterwards to notify him of the damage. I was very satisfied with the Memphis component speakers I got from them, they sound amazing. Clean place, I would definitely go back here. Been looking for a new place to get a system. I live in Chino hills and have tried different places around here with previous cars and I always left disappointed by the price I paid and the quality I received. I recently bought a new car and was looking for a place to get a system. My friend recommended me this place and told me it was worth the drive, so I had to try it out and I wasn't disappointed!! It was a family company with amazing costumer service. I was immediately greeted and attended to. The prices were great, but made me iffy about the quality I was going to receive because of past experiences, but after getting my car back, I have no complaints!!! The sound is crystal clear and definitely worth the price! The best part is that it only took a few hours and didn't take all day!! Went here for HID setup. Everything worked perfectly, solved so many problems and installed it professionally! However things started tripping out in my car, and I went back about 7 months later. I was expecting a hard time, but no. Junior and Bosh took care of it and replaced the ballasts and Bulb for me NO CHARGE! They do great work here and don't forget their customers! read more

Very happy with G-Sound. I am very particular and want the job done right and feel I can trust the shop to stand behind their work. They installed a back-up camera, but not in the tradional locations......very creative and clean and the OEM looking camera works great.
