They make an appointment to come to the house and provide an estimate. They don't show up. I call an hour later and the woman says : Oh, he'll be by." Doesn't show up. I call again and she says: "can he come by tomorrow?" So OK, I say. Owner comes by looks at the work to be done, says he'll send me a quote. After a couple of days, no quote. I call again, woman says: it'll come." I never receive. And now I get emails from them to vote them as BEST ELECTRICIAN ON OAHU !!! You be the judge !! read more

This review is for the kitchen renovation in October 2023 Larry, with G2 electric is simply the best! Larry is very knowledgeable, customer service oriented, knows how to troubleshoot and come up with great solutions for his clients. This is the third time I am using Larry for his service and the biggest one. He rewired my entire kitchen, including relocating my oven outlet to a different location and studded my kitchen with beautiful pendant lights and yes they are dimmable. Larry and his team also installed three Minka Aire ceiling fans for me through out the house and replaced the old switch boxes with recessed switch panels. The fans and the electrical switches look and work great. My family and I are really enjoying our meals and gathering with the new lights and the fans! One of the best electricians on Oahu. We got a few quotes from other electricians and I can say G2 Electric is very competitive in this regard. But where they really shine is with the owner, Larry. What separates him from other electricians is his personality. He's very affable and will take the time to get to know you, answering your questions and explaining everything along the way. We got a new circuit breaker panel, a quick disconnect box and other general electrical work done, all of it done very well and in a timely fashion. I called G2 Electric this morning because my dining room lights wouldn't turn on. Larry answered and while he listened, he said he's driving now so would I please text him my problem and he would get back to me. I said sure and texted my problem. And Larry texted back that he could see me in about 4hours or so. I agreed to meet him and waited. Sure enough he came to my house and we discussed my problems. Long story short, Larry fixed everything, was cheerful, polite, very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. I was very impressed and vowed to use him again in the future. 5 stars out of 5!!!!! We needed a 220 AC plug put in. Larry responded quickly to our initial call and came by to provide an estimate. We scheduled with him. On the day of service he was on time and prepared. Larry has completed 2 jobs for us in the last 6 weeks--a larger project where he replaced/repaired/updated most outlets, switches, and wiring over the course of a day and a half, as well as a separate smaller job involving a ceiling fan. The quality of his work is top notch and completed timely. His response to questions was prompt and communication very easy. That said, what stood out more than anything was his genuinely friendly and laid back demeanor. He's a great guy who does fantastic work. There is a reason Larry has a slew of 5 star reviews. His work looks very clean, he is efficient, on time, and personable. I totally agree with another reviewer - Larry even made friends with our dog! We had Larry add a ceiling fan, run a new exterior outlet for a beer fridge, and modify an exterior light so that we could add outside bistro lights. (I didn't know we needed bistro lights but Chip and Jo from HGTV have bistro lights, so I found out we "needed" them too). I had multiple estimates and went with G2, not because he was the cheapest, but because he took time to understand what we were looking for and he even recommended cheaper alternatives to get what we wanted. Adding the ceiling fan looked like it would be a quick job, but Larry worked his ass off to route the new cable in the wall with multiple cross brace stud breaks. He came over today, looked at our electrical issues and explained what he had to do and gave us estimate of cost. He found the issue and ran to the nearest hardware store to get the parts he needed.
