One word summary: SERVICE... Yes, Pacific Ceiling Fans have beautiful product. This is where my ceiling fans were purchased by previous owner of home. Nicest, best quality ceiling fans I've ever owned. What has brought me back a few times we're issues with the remote(s). It's to be expected. Things break down after years of use. The last two times (over years) Blaine has been the one to assist me. Each time he listened to the situation intently, decided best course of action, and quickly provided solution. And the last time I thought the replacement remote was faulty... I telephoned them while driving back to exchange when associate "kindly" mentioned if it was a remote problem they would absolutely replace it BUT they would also make sure it wasn't an issue with the wiring or fan itself. Oops... I didn't consider that possibility. Turned my car around, right after picking up some onolicious oxtail soup across the street from them. :-) After arriving home, reprogrammed my other remote to see if same issue and bingo! ... light on fan still not turning off with remote. Easy workaround... just use wall switch. Thank you Pacific Fans for your always great service! Thank you also for your kindness in talking to me, making sure I felt like a valued customer, not like an idiot for not figuring out the secondary issue (the first remote was still faulty and needed to be replaced !). We bought 2 fans for about $800 each and 3 other fans for about $500. The cheaper ones were fine but we've had many problems with the other 2. They replaced one of them 3 times . We had an electrical engineer install it but since we had problems we paid their installer but it still doesn't work properly. The lights don't work properly so we just stopped using the lights on both. Considering what we paid for the 5 fans, we feel that we got a very bad deal. We think the expensive ones are defective. They should have offered to either refund our money or offer an exchange with another type. We spent over $3,000.00 there. We will never go back there. read more

Ceiling Fans can be more than just functional - it can transform the look of your room as it did mine. My 8 year old Minka Aire Supra ceiling fan light failed to turn on. I was happy!!! Although, I believe it could have been repaired, I wanted a good excuse to buy a new and more architecturally interesting unit to accent the master bedroom. I was not disappointed. I just love my gray Minka Aire Transonic ceiling fan which looks super against the grayish blue walls and white ceiling. Service again was AMAZING!!! There was a misunderstanding on the color of the unit (which was back ordered and I should have noticed). The error was only discovered at the time I picked up the unit. No problem. They found the right color unit and they backordered the longer matching downrod to match. BEFORE you purchase a ceiling lamp at one of the big box stores, you should checkout this store. They carry comparable units and they have a great selection of medium to higher priced quality ceiling fans. Surprisingly, their prices are pretty good! We went over to Pacific Ceiling Fans per recommendation from family who got it for their place. When we arrived Blaine helped us with everything we need to know in regards to which fan works best for our rooms. We wanted to get one for our two bedrooms and the living room. One bedroom was smaller then the living room and master bedroom so he showed us which one would work best for that room. We ended up buying 3 fans and having Carlos install it for us. Overall experience was amazing! We had it where one of our fans stopped working and I worked with Blaine through the whole process and we got it up and running in a couple of days with him guiding me on what to troubleshoot. I bought my fan here from Blaine years ago. In all that time this is the first I had any problems. I came in this morning because something blew and my lights weren't working. I was pleasantly surprised to see Blaine still working here. He and Richard took my fixture in the back and within minutes came out and told me problem fixed! I was ecstatic...quick and free, what more could I ask for? We went home, hooked it up and...uh-ohh, not quite right. Called Blaine and he said bring it back in with the remote. Apparently we have been using the wrong bulbs for years, who knew!? So back to Pacific Ceiling Fans we went. This time they did a little more investigating and noticed that one of the sockets didn't look right, no wonder that one bulb kept going out. We purchased 5 fans from Pacific Ceiling Fans 6 months ago for a major remodel to our new home. I picked them up and our contractor installed them. One (identical to 2 others) did not work. Customer rep blamed the electrician. We switched the faulty fan with a working one to determine that it was the fan, not the wall connection. I took the faulty fan back to the store (a 40-min. drive for me). I asked if they would deliver a new fan. Blaine told me, no, I'd be picking it up when he gets the part in (did I mention that I spent almost $2500 at this place?). Also that I had a lousy electrician, who lost 3 controllers. I said, how could it be that we got 2 different fans with controllers and 3 identical ones without? I'm in the middle here - makes no sense to me (that's how I phrased it, basically). Christian was immediately responsive, with a full range of options from replacement to repair. It turned out the fan we had is no longer available, and with several of the same model installed, we were delighted to learn that the problem likely was a replaceable component. We had replaced our master fan with one of theirs a couple years ago so when it came time to replace a fan in another room we purchased the same fan.
