Friendly service, huge breakfast burritos, everything comes out hot and it was delicious. After trying the food I get why it has a high rating. Loved the authentic yet eclectic decor, which included funny signs.

I stopped in craving something classic and ordered the club sandwich- and wow, it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I was lead to believe this was going to be good food with a 4.6 on yelp but I was sorely mistaken. The location seems clean and sanitary but the meat they gave us was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Plato de Cena which is basically meat, rice, beans with a salad. I ordered carne asada with it and I'm not sure what part of the cow that was but it was disgusting. I had picked the location so I was stuck eating it. After drowning it in salsa it was actually eatable. My kids had cheese quesadillas and side of rice. They seem to enjoy it so no complains there. Unfortunately for the rest of us the meat choice was really bad and made it really hard to eat the food. I did 2 stars bc the service was nice and it seems like a really clean area.

Surprisingly, great food and a great friendly staff. The ambience is cool for being in such a hot place. Perfect place for a pitstop!!!

My review is really more of a 3.5, but we don't have that option on Yelp. The service at Gabby's is solid. Super friendly staff. The location is nice. About a couple of miles off the 5 that is somewhat secluded, but not. Not a small establishment, but with outdoor seating and indoor seating with nice decor, it was a nice break from the hours of driving north or driving south. The food, to me, was a bit of a mixed bag. The food itself was good, but some of the portions were a bit off. What I mean here is that the tacos were supplanted with too much meat. Now, that's a good problem to have, but an over abundance of meat while lacking the onions and cilantro makes the ratio off and it doesn't feel right at that point. The chicken was shredded and dry, but the other meats were done rather well.

MUST STOP!!! Gabby's is an absolute gem! The food was incredible the quality of the meat was outstanding, cooked to perfection, and full of flavor. The staff was so sweet, welcoming, and generous, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is adorable, with beautiful Mexican vibes and stunning artwork all around the walls that give it such a warm, lively atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit spot I can't wait to come back!

Super friendly, great prices and portions. Facilities are clean too. I would come back!

Dining Room. To the right of the swinging door is the ordering station. The metal rod on the table gets your food delivered to your table.

It was getting to lunch time and time to take a break from driving. Where to go? Where to go? Gabby's sounded good and was just about 1.5 miles away. Off we went. I was a bit concerned when we pulled into the parking lot and it was empty. Rarely a good sign. We entered and saw that there was one table occupied by 5 young kids. Ut-oh. I know, I know. Unfair to young kids but I'm working from experience. The ordering station is a window next to the kitchen. The menu is a couple of laminated sheets. There's enough to choose from for breakfast or lunch. I had the Seafood Enchiladas. It was good. Seemed like most of the shrimp were at one end of the Enchilada but it worked out. She had a Carnitas Chimichanga. She said that it did the job for her but wasn't anything spectacular. She appreciated that the deep-fry didn't turn the tortilla into a brick. The kids? They ate their food and left.

Great place to stop on your way to Paso. Order at window, sit down and they bring the food to you piping hot. Ask for the salsa very good. Did I mention homemade chips! They don't skimp on the shrimp .

Solid Mexican food stop if your on a road trip passing by. Large menu with many options for all. Staff was super friendly. Is it the best Mexican ever?? no, but totally worth going here instead of the fast food chains in town.

Was driving through the area at a little after sunrise and looking for breakfast early the other morning and Gabby's was open so I pulled in, im sure glad I did. Its a large place with walk up counter service, the gentleman behind the counter was kind and gracious, took our orders and we grabbed a seat inside by a window. A few moments later, fresh coffee appeared. A really good cup of coffee - seriously, way better than I was expecting. It was truly appreciated that early in the morning. I ordered Huevos Rancheros and it did not disappoint. Everything was freshly made, the ranchero sauce spicy, sweet, tangy flavorful and obviously made right then as well, sitting on top of very good eggs, a fresh made tortilla with a side of refried beans and traditional rice. Along with a couple of freshly made tortillas. 3.5 Stars - rounded up for excellent cup of coffee and being open the early hours of my drive through town 00796

Service was 3/10 you order at the front and serve your own drink. its not a great sit down experience. Our tortilla chips had what seemed to be plastic strings in them. My wife got the chorizo torta she said it was a 7/10 in flavor. i got the chicken belridge fries and it was also a solid 7/10 in flavor. overall a 2.5/5 stars including service and food quality. Come at your own will and ALWAYS check your food before eating

This place was a must stop if you are looking for fresh, authentic food and not wanting to eat at another fast food joint. The torta sandwich was absolutely amazing. The ambiance was good too, super clean, spacious and nice and cool in this 117 degree weather.

Sorry it's so much prettier in person.

I was tired of fast food on our road trip and wanted something more real. We stopped here to check it out and everything about our experience was perfect. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted within 30 seconds even though the 3 servers on the floor were VERY busy, they got back with us within a minute, sat us, and immediately got a drink order. When they came back they asked if we were ready to order. We were in a hurry, so when the Server came back to quality check our food we ordered dessert to go and asked for the check so we could get back on the road as we were eager to get home. We were so impressed with our service and honestly, the delicious diner food, that we planned to stop here again on our way home from our yearly trip this year. We had a different server this year, but everything about the experience was identical. Wonderful, tasty, timely, kind... Thank you, Willow Ranch staff, we will certainly make you part of our plan every year! I also wanted to note that I am a career server and the details matter to me. It is so amazing when someone like myself can receive the kind of service that I am proud to give when I'm working. I also witnessed the front of house staff engaging in friendly banter with the kitchen staff and I just love that. I am also close with the team on our line and I think that makes a huge difference in the overall performance of the restaurant.

I got the Jose Burger with fries- burger with bacon, grilled onions, Ortega chili and American cheese. It was a pretty meaty burger. Had pickles, lettuce and tomato and lathered with mayo. Had to request mustard and ketchup. Burger was impressively good. Fries were thin and fried. Kinda remind me of shoestring fries. With our large group of 7, we were seated outdoors, where we enjoyed spectacular views and the calming sounds of the Kaweah River. I had made a reservation earlier in the day, and the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Service remained attentive & pleasant thruout the evening. The hubs & I wanted to keep things light & healthy, so we shared serveral dishes, to sample more of the menu. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cakes, both of which were heavenly. The shrimp were fresh & sweet, pairing perfectly with the cocktail sauce. The escargot bourguignon was also enjoyable ~ the snails were fresh and not mushy like those I've had at some other restaurants, although I've tasted better versions elsewhere. The colossal snails were imported from France and prepared in the chef's special butter sauce. Next, we shared the Chinese chicken salad, which came in a generous portion. To finish, we shared a 12-oz New York steak with our daughter, and it was cooked perfectly medium-rare. She also added a cup of clam chowder soup, while my son ordered his own filet mignon steak, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, the food was decent for the price, but the real highlight was the relaxing atmosphere & beautiful river view. It was the perfect way to end an already wonderful day exploring the park.
