Better than average pizza for the area. My "go to" pizza place till I find something better. Though it's not my thing, they get a few points for attempting be innovative with their special pizzas. Would be nice if they offered a really great, authentic pizza margherita. I've tried their "italian" food once or twice. It was OK for the price. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!!! Our baseball team was in town for a tournament and were looking for great authentic pizza in Flemington near Diamond Nation. We came across Gabby's and I am so glad we did. We had about 25 people in our party so we called them ahead. They were very welcoming and told us to come right over and had pizza and salads waiting when we got there. Our team took up all the seats in the place but the staff was so accommodating and right on top of all of our requests. We had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which was AMAZING not too hot but tons of flavor, cheese pizzas, chicken caesar salads and the Chicken pizza with Vodka sauce. Everything was delicious!!! I ordered a large chicago style veggie pizza. It was delivered hot and tasted good. I had 1 1/2 slices and my daughter had 2. I go to put the rest in the fridge and realize there is mold on the back of the remaining slices. WTF! I will never eat there again. Very disappointed. I can't even imagine how much mold we ate that I did not see. read more

Waited for well over an hour for delivery (we live five minutes from their place of business) - was on my way out to pick up food elsewhere when the driver turned into my court and immediately went into my lane of traffic. He stopped and went into his proper lane, at which point I went to turn around and found he had parked in my driveway, so I parked on the street and walked up to the porch where he was standing. I asked what had taken so long since we had been waiting for over an hour and he had no response. The order had been for one plain pie, one with pepperoni and on order of cheese fries and he told me the amount was $25.00. I asked to see the receipt and he said he left it in the car. After again waiting for several minutes I walked to my driveway to find him rummaging through his car and talking on his cell phone. He then told me he made a mistake, that he had forgotten the cheese fries and the amount was $29.68 and handed me a receipt with no dollar amounts written on it. All of this trouble for what was a mediocre pizza at best - will not be using them again. read more

I was unimpressed with the food at Gabbys. I order egg plant parmasian over pasta. The egg plant was tough and almost inedible. There was lots of sauce but as the cook failed to drain and mix the pasta in the sauce, it was watery. The mistakes made on this dish are Italian cooking 101 and Gabbys failed miserably. I spoke to the manager, but he didn'tseem to care, so I will never go back. Not cheap either, so save your $12 to buy good food elsewhere. read more

Gabby's Pizza the "Spanish Pizzeria" more or less, if you do not mind an insulting language barrier if one only speaks English, as well as a facility that may or may not get your order right specifically because of this then well, for a pretty decent pie they are not all that bad. As far as service behind the counter one can always expect an extremely young girl popping her bubble gum while on her cell phone texting or whatever it is that makes a cell phone much more important then customer service these days. What I have seen personally as a customer who used to frequent the facility as a "regular" is a dramatic decrease in food quality, care that gpes into the "regulars" who supported the business, and what seems to be a rapid turnaround in staff which now includes their main cook who had made the pizza there ever since I began going there years ago, who I have now found at another local pizzeria that I now choose to go to over Gabby's. It seems all of the things like food costs, and cutting corners to save a few cents here and there have come into play, what used to be a brilliant large pie with top notch ingredients has now become something that falls below average without question. In 2010 I could not think of going outside of my "comfort zone" with Gabby's, as they treated my family and I great, with service, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Today my family and I feel that the place has done nothing less then take a rapid turn for the worst. It is a shame as I am positive it is still under the same ownership. I was told there is a Gabby's 2 now, which maybe all of the love put into the cooking I once experienced here in my home town has up and possibly followed to the new Gabby's. Someday I sincerely hope Gabby's can get things back into shape, but as for now my suggestion for those looking to enjoy a nice evening out and be happy with the money spent on an eatery, is to check other local pizza places and see what you can dig up. Flemington is a small town with several pizza places and I can assure you that you will be more then pleased "shopping around" within town or within a couple miles on the outskirts and have a pleasant and filling meal knowing that your money was well spent. read more
