I appreciated that they took trouble to make it feel like a special experience - with white tablecloths, decor and the cutlery. They seemed a bit short staffed that day so our server was helping out many tables. He was very helpful in explaining the menu, though we did have to ask specifically to receive the full tea menu. We decided on a few teas to share - a spiced white chocolate white tea, rooibos chai, and a hibiscus cooler (iced and non-caffeinated). The spiced white chocolate was fantastic. I wasn't as much of a fan of the rooibos but if you like less sweet teas this is a good choice. The hibiscus cooler was delicious and refreshing, and I liked that they let us take it to go! Our amuse bouche came out first - a delicious pumpkin seed savory small soup and it was fantastic. We eagerly awaited our tea tower - and it certainly did not disappoint! We are still thinking about the delicious spinach and artichoke pinwheel with olive tapenade - it was our absolute favorite. The savory sandwiches were also delicious. We especially enjoyed the clotted cream and lemon curd with the scone, and the desserts were delectable. We were stuffed by the end of our teatime! I absolutely LOVE Gabee. This local coffee shop is the one of a kind little treasure that everyone hopes to find. So let's take about their beverage options. They roast their coffee beans in house, which is absolutely amazing! And they have a diverse selection of beverages. Let me tell you, if you haven't tried their sweet potato latte then you are missing out, that is probably the most addicting drink I have ever had. I drive from my home in Westminster just to snag one of those bad boys. If you're thinking to yourself "hm okay, I could try one", then add espresso. It's mind blowing. Their lattes are fantastic, so are the Americanos, and you obviously need to try the Ade. Other than awesome coffee, the staff is exceptional and go out of their way to connect with their customers. If you pop in during the week, you will likely run into the owners. These people are fabulous, I have come in religiously every day and they started treating me like family. You will find that if you go there once, they will most likely remember your name the second time you stop by. I absolutely adore everyone who works there (please adopt me). I want to mention I am from Milan, Italy.(It means I can't live without coffee) I tried Double shots Espresso to check if they are using good coffee beans or not. While I was drinking it, I felt I was in Italy...It was the best!! Crema was very rich and had thick layer. The barista explained me about coffee beans what they are using and how to roast. He said coffee beans are all organic and his roast is full city roast. Double shot is $3.00(with Tax). Considered they are all organic coffee beans, price is very reasonable. I promised him I would come back tomorrow morning for Cappuccino! If he can make good Cappuccino tomorrow, I will be a his big fan! read more

Brand new this week and I decided to give it a try as some of my Denver friends had been using the…read morelocations near them for years. This is the first shop to open outside the MOXY on the Hill on the plaza attached. It was a sunny, almost spring day and worth the walk for an afternoon treat. My standard for trying a new place to get a feel of their range, is a Cortado, decaf with oat milk. And always, some tasty looking pastry. This was a successful visit. The pastries are baked locally by Dry Storage and the orange cardamom scone was small and a great treat. Much better than humongous scones tend to be, as I think they bake more evenly. It was barely warmed so the frosting would soften and the interior soft and fresh, which enhances the flavors. The Cortado was fine too. Not quite the mellow decaf I have elsewhere every morning but nicely tempered by the oat milk. Some places use too much in their milk portion of the serving and I prefer the perfect balance of them as intended. It was nicely served on a small ceramic tray with a similar sized glass of sparkling water. Seems to be a trend these days in similar coffee shops. The decor is very modern and sleek. Lots of white and gray tile and marble surfaces with industrial duct work up high on the vaulted ceiling. There is also a good selection of teas for those that prefer. The pastry selection is still quite small and will be expanded when the need arises. The staff was helpful and getting to know their shop. I'm sure when they are more practiced and they develop a regular following, they will be able to pick up the pace behind the bar. There are some unusual seating areas which not everyone will be able to use as they require some climbing, like bleachers. I'm sure one. On fall football game days, they will fill up with agile young people and they will need far more baristas in place.
