Maxx are dog friendly stores). Afterwards, I decided that I just wanted to pop into T.J. Maxx just to browse (which is dangerous for the wallet by the way because you never know what you may end up walking out with). Well we headed over to the luggage area, which is on the left hand side when you first walk into the store. I saw the cutest Hello Kitty (hard shell) carry on luggage and knew I had to get it (lol). This Hello Kitty looked rather sporty and the bonus with this luggage was that it came with a small duffle bag, 3 piece packing cube set and a Hello Kitty head luggage ID tag. The original price was marked as $100 (which seems to be the going price if you look on Amazon, that hard shell carry one Hello Kitty luggage is about $100) but was on clearance for $59 (prior to tax). So I ended up purchasing this cute set (lucky for me that I was flying home on Southwest where you are allowed 2 check in bags for free, so I didn't have to pay extra to bring this back with me). The employee who rang me up was friendly. She smiled when she saw our little girl dog and also complemented me on the Hello Kitty luggage find too. But with T.J. Maxx and similar stores, you may not always find those hidden gems on the first visit, but over several visits. But I think that is what makes shopping at T.J. Maxx (and similar stores) all the more fun. If I lived in this area, I would most definitely be a regular.

Only downside is that it appeared not to have name brand clothing or perfume like Ross. I could be wrong but that's what I noticed. I did see some name brand shoes. There was a security guard in the store just like I've seen at other Ross stores. I overheard the cashier saying they are hiring on the spot. I will most definitely return because the closest Ross to my home is 9.5 miles away. This store is less than 6 miles away from my home.

Everything is weighed with the exception of the books. The book prices aren't set, or posted so you have no idea how much you're being charged for the books or why. Is the staff making up prices for the books? Who can know one way or another. The receipts aren't itemized in a way that would clarify anything. After looking at all of the other reviews that mentioned a boutique feel and high end purchases I wasn't sure if this was the same place. The address is the same. It's in the Good Will Complex and Opportunity center, but the receipt says "Second Edition." All of those glowing reviews are at least a year ago... and they have made some big changes since then. So I am here to let these Yelp Streets know, things are different now. The personnel in this store seem friendly enough, but with the exception of the book section, this store is a hard pass for me.

There were Nine West, Jessica Simpson, and Kenneth Cole shoes that looked barely worn. Sustainable fashion is a way we can shrink our carbon footprint, and with places like GW's, we can do it looking great!

Prices are decent but the selection is a bit aged in my opinion. It appears several past years of non-purchased clothing has made it's way to this outlet store. Hanes also shares the same philosophy with older style of undergarments such as socks, underwear, bras, and undershirts. The staff is pretty laid back, non-confrontational but not very welcoming either. It's probably not a regular store I tend to frequent when at the Concord Mills Mall.
