First time here and was not very impressed. One, we came here during "pasta week." We saw an ad on Instagram that advertised a pasta week special where 12 kinds of traditional pastas would be $12.99. Sounds like a great deal right? Well when we mentioned it to the server, he had no idea what we were talking about. We had to show him the post on Instagram. He then took my phone to show the manager. Once he came back he pointed to several pastas and said "any of those without the protein." So it was confusing for sure. We ordered 3 different pastas. Each were tasty, but we were so thrown off from the get that we actually felt like we were in the wrong. Besides that, I did enjoy the environment because of the live music.

First time dining at Trattoria Italia! Great experience! We enjoyed the pear salad, lasagna, and risotto! Our server Mary Ellen was exceptional! We'll definitely be back!

Family owned, traditional Italian restaurant. There was a special menu for Valentine's Day and so I can't comment on the regular menu. We enjoyed it, service was great and there was live singers!

This place is such a treat. Great happy hour prices, elegant dining room/bar area, tasty food but the icing on the cake is the friendly and attentive service of the young guy bartender during happy hour. He made our visit memorable and can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

My son and I needed dinner and I let him pick. Italian was the angle, and we ended up at Trattoria Italia. This place is great. It was an early dinner and not too packed. The inside is clean and modern while also having some nice decor and pictures of what may or may not family. We were waited on by Giuseppe, he said that his grandparents came in every morning and helped cook. Nice guy, really on top of things. There were a couple of other guyss and I only got one other name: Marco. Great service. We ordered fried mozzarella balls, whichh came on a layer of marinara on the plate. They were excellent. The table bread (with oil) were great too. My son had Augie's fettucini alfredo. I had the flames in white wine with in-house made papradella. Amazing stuff. I always look for reasons to not leave extreme reviews, bit it 1 or 5 stars, but Trattorias Italia leaves me no choice. Everything was excellent.

Came here to try this place out after not being attended to at another Italian place and it was meant to be to eat here. The service was excellent, it was a warm and inviting environment and the food was amazing! It's going to be my go to for Italian. I ate the whole Thing and thought I would Have leftovers, nope it was so good that I had to eat it all!

It's been awhile since we tried this place and we finally did. They renovated the place with a new bar, a great happy hour menu (4pm-6pm) and nicely decorated. The front bakery is gone. We split the classic Caesar salad. We ordered the calamari fritto misto. It was delicious. For one day only special, we enjoyed the creamy rich authentic Spaghetti Carbonara, and get a second one free. The spumoni bomba is a decadent, nostalgic Italian dessert. An explosion of flavor, the mix of strawberry, pistachio and chocolate with fresh strawberries on top. An excellent, rich finale of our meal. Service was excellent.

I went to this place on a whim as I was craving Italian food. I ordered online and ended up outside of my delivery window but my food was not ready due to an error on their end where it didn't come through. It was nice because the food was super fresh. The penne vodka sauce was very flavorful but quite thin. The pasta was a bit soft and it was accompanied by some rolls that were extremely dense. The best part was the cannolo as the shell was perfect and the cream was flavorful. The one unfortunate thing was the fact that I added chicken to my pasta but it was not included in the pasta. Service was fine and helpful. The restaurant looked clean and well put together minus employees on phones when I arrived initially.

If you're searching for exceptional Italian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting, this restaurant is a true gem. The food is outstanding, the drinks are expertly crafted, and the service is what truly sets it apart. As a family-owned and operated establishment, the care and pride they take in their restaurant is evident from the moment you walk in. Giuseppe, the bartender and a member of the family, delivers impeccable service. It's rare to experience this level of genuine hospitality. He remembers guests, even if they've only visited once, and makes everyone feel like a valued regular. Every visit feels personal and inviting. There simply aren't enough positive things to say--this is a place you need to experience for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks to Marco for an exemplary service! Made our dinner for Father's Day a beautiful one. The food is as good as the service, big servings and good for sharing. Will definitely recommend!

Have had this place bookmarked for a while. Valentine's Day dinner was the first opportunity to check it out. I made a reservation for 2, and when we got there and tried to check in, the lady (owner I presume) barely looked up and acknowledged us, but did tell someone to get us a table. I would learn later it was probably because she was super stressed, as the line was starting to backup and everything was getting backed up. She could have been more friendly and welcoming but I know how stressful the restaurant business can be, so I wasn't offended. Later when I exited the lobby I could hear every party that was leaving complain about the slow service and commented on people just arriving how they wouldn't be served til midnight (it was 7:30pm at the time). I could also see frustrated cooks out front angrily smoking cigarettes before going back into the war zone. But fortunately for us, we had a pleasant dinner with really nice, authentic Italian live music. Some couples even got inspired to dance , as it evoked all sorts of good emotions and I'm sure nostalgia for some. Nice touch. The food itself was very good. The octopus carpaccio was sort of like a ceviche. Although good, it became a little redundant after a few bites, so I started eating it with the Caesar salad, as sort of the grilled seafood component and they complimented each other. The stars of the show were the main courses however. My wife had the risotto with scallops and I had the pesto pasta with grilled shrimp. The amount of pasta they gave me was pretty large, which surprised me because I usually don't get enough pasta at Italian restaurants. But this dish had a huge stack of fresh pappardelle. My wife and I like to share and on this particular night we discovered that my pasta, with her scallops in a lemon butter sauce together was SO GOOD. Definitely the hack and should be added to the menu. The lemon sauce made the pesto pop, and the scallops were more juicy than the shrimp. Perfect combo. No dessert since we had to leave for a concert. But overall the food was very good. The restaurant was cozy and had a cool looking bar towards the front entry, music was a great touch but I don't know if that was just a Valentine's Day thing. The service was slow on this night, they were a bit disorganized and were deep in the weeds, but that happens so I won't fault them for this visit.

For Valentine's Day, I wanted to take my wife to someplace new that neither of us had tried. After doing some research, I landed on Trattoria Italia. This review is going to be solely based on the Valentine's Day experience, and not a normal visit. Service We had reservations for 7:30 pm. When we walked in, the front area was packed with people waiting to be seated. Everyone had a reservation for 7:30 or earlier, so we knew it was going to be a wait. After 50 minutes, we were seated around 8:20. We were given menus, and about 15 minutes later, they took our food and drink orders. It took another 30 minutes to get everything out due to the busyness of the night. Staff was friendly, but it was hard to ask for anything additional. 2/5 Food Being Valentine's Day, there was a special menu for the day, which we were not anticipating. I had planned to order something for else from the main menu, but adjusted with the options that were given. We shared a Caesar salad and I ordered the Pappardelle Genova Al Pesto for my entree. Both items were very good. The pesto was excellent and the prawn was perfectly cooked. I had wine as well, which was fine. 4.5/5 Ambiance The restaurant seemed very nice and cozy on a normal day. They added some Valentines decor throughout and had some live music playing. We enjoyed the atmosphere. 4/5 Due to the holiday, I know it was not the normal experience. We enjoyed the experience well enough to try it again on a normal night. I recommend giving it a try, just maybe not on a holiday.

When I made the reservation through OpenTable, I casually noted that we were celebrating our anniversary and did not expect anything to come of it. They start you off with bread which were not very tasty. They were a bit dry and lacking in flavor. It was a shame because they give you a small container filled with olive oil to dip your bread in. We ordered a glass of Barolo and the Dante's Infante cocktail. The cocktail was refreshing and strong. My husband wanted to try wine but there werent many options for wines sold by the glass and there was only one option for Baralos so he ordered that. The Baralo was just average for $30 per glass and it was unfortunate that there weren't more options to choose from. We ordered the Polpo ( octopus) appetizer. The flavors were well balanced and the pureed canellini beans paired well with the octopus but the octopus was too cold. Not sure if it was supposed to be served like but I've never had octopus that cold before and the consistency was a bit harder because of the temperature. For our entrees, we ordered the pappardelle with lobster, scallops and truffle. The pasta was perfectly al dente and amazing. There were 2 beautifully cooked and tender scallops. There were a few garnishes of truffle that were shaved thick enough that I was able to chew into the texture. I wish there were larger pieces as the shaved pieces were small sized in diameter. But overall the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. This was far the best dish. We also ordered the Branzino which I wish I hadn't because there was a very wierd flavor profile.. I ordered it thinking it was going to have crispy skin but the skin was very soggy. It seems they changed the method of cooking the branzino as compared to previous photos uploaded by other yelpers. I was a bit disappointed when the branzino came out because the whole fish was butterflied ( sliced in half with tail in tact) and looked like the skin side had at one point been fried but it was soggy and soaked in the sauce. I was not particularly a fan of the sauce. I tasted a strong flavor profile of cinnamon for some reason even though there was no cinnamon mentioned on the menu. Two of the ingredients listed was guanciale and taragon. One of two ingredients may have been the flavors I tasted which did not pair well with the fish. It ruined the natural flavor of the fish as they overpowered the natural flavor of the branzino. Any time I get a chance to order the Branzino, I am usually satisfied or impressed but have never been disappointed. I think my favorite restaurants where I had exceptionally cooked branzinos were on the Vegas strip. At one of restaurants on the strip which I have ordered numerous times and is a very well known restaurant which I will name nameless ...it was cooked similarly, butterflied, in a buttery lemon sauce but the skin was still crispy. A second restaurant on the strip... the branzino was smoked and roasted on charcoal with a tomato based sauce. I guess I can't help but compare because this restaurant is priced similar to two very popular restaurants on the strip but fell short. Our waiter Diego was great and best personality and made our experience memorable. Overall the best dishe was the handmade pasta. The lack of options for wine by the glass was a bit saddening. The cocktail was unique and strong. But I regret getting the branzino. I am not sure I would go back
