Mani/pedis are still good, clean atmosphere but massages included are pretty mediocre. Got one of the more expensive pedicures with a hot stone massage and it lasted maybe max 2 minutes? Was generally quite weak and not relaxing or anything special. Definitely not like how it was when they first opened. That said, still good for basic quick nails. read more

I am a licensed Cosmetologist and they are very clean and organized. The pedicure i got done bu Susan was one of the best I have gotten done, made sure to go above and beyond and she did not rush. The workers are really nice and they really enforce COVID safety (e.g. everyone has a mask on, screen protectors, temp checks and hand sanitizers). Nail workmanship/quality is definitely 10/10. Spa experience! After more than a year without a pedi, I really needed one. Very clean, beautiful serene spa like ambience. I had the milk and honey pedicure with hot stone, with Lily. It was heavenly. They take your temperature, hand sanitize, and there are plexiglass screens. I appreciated the quiet, and no conversation, in the dim, spa pedi area, massage chairs. I really wanted to like this place since it's across from my gym but I was completely disappointed. I got the regular mani and pedi, and she ended up cutting too much and my toe is not infected/swollen. On top of that she snipped too much of one of my finger nails and it was bleeding as well. Woke up today and all my nail beds are swollen. It was a really uncomfortable experience and not worth the money. I won't return again. read more

I made an appointment here for a pedicure. On the day of my appointment I picked out my color and they put me in a chair but there were eight people already in chairs and only five nail techs working so I had to wait twenty minutes until the service was started. I was given a menu that only showed their most expensive services, but I just wanted a regular basic pedicure. My service was finished just about the time they were closing so I paid and walked outside and saw in the light that the color looked nothing like the one I picked out. I didn't notice in the chair because it was so dark. Color aside, the paint job looked like I did it myself, not professionally done and it was very streaky. read more

The place is very clean and the staff are really nice they focus on there work and not just having conversations within each other the pedicure room is super relaxing dimmed lights light music the price was very affordable in my opinion for what I got the whole thing lasted a hour it was not rushed this is definitely my go to spot now and I will be taking in my mom when she comes and visit ! read more

Came here for a gel mani and gel pedi and had a wonderful experience. COVID precautions include temperature check, gloves, masks, plexiglass at every station, contactless payments, and lots of room for social distancing. They do gel, powder dip and regular polish- LOTS of options for colors. The massage chairs are luxurious and they have 22 (!) so would work for a large group ie bridal party post-covid. Meticulous work, incredibly clean, fair pricing, and overall impressive. This will be my new go to nail salon in Walnut Creek! read more

Was worried about venturing out into public spaces due to covid but felt relieved that Gaia takes precautions so seriously. The distancing between chairs, plexiglass screens, temperature check and hand sanitizing are all very reassuring. My favorite part was the quiet spa like ambiance, dim lighting, coffered hand painted ceilings to to look like blue skies & clouds, all very relaxing. No TV's or bright lights in my face. Everything very Zen like. Even the subtle music selection was nice. The honey milk pedicure smelled great and was so relaxing. I chose a color of polish that Quinn tested on my toes. She thought it was too transparent, she went and found a color from an unopened box of new polish that looked like the color I really wanted and tested it which came out perfect. I loved the hot stones, sugar scrub and great foot/leg massage during my pedicure!!! My feet feel happy which makes my whole body feel rejuvenated and my toes are so pretty, I found a new spot!!! read more

Absolutely AMAZING experience. This was my first time coming and I was more than pleased, I got the citrus organic pedicure and I can say that it was one of the best pedicures I've ever received. The ambiance within the pedicure room was beautiful and welcoming, I was so relaxed and the massage chairs were a plus.
