I ordered thru doordash. Two subs two fries and a fried dough. Literally the best steak and cheese sub I've had in a really long time. Lots of meat. Nice caramelization on the onions and mushrooms. Fried dough was great. Only made better if it had some cinnamon but that's being picky. 1000 times better than what was at canal fest. A million times I'll order again. read more

Ordered a steak and cheese sub and 2 chicken wing logs. Wanted the steak logs but they were unavailable. Chicken wing logs weren't bad but they aren't my cup of tea. Too much breading IMO. Just felt like you were eating the oil from the fryer. The steak sub on the other hand was fantastic. The seasoning that's used was awesome. Only concern is it was very light (could have eaten 2 or next time I will get double meat). Called and they said 10-15 minutes. Very quick! Went in and paid and the girl politely said have a good night. Now this being my first time there, I just said thanks not knowing my food was on a table behind me. No big deal but should inform people as I sat there without knowing. I'll be back though. Want to try a few more things on the menu. read more

My phone insists on autofixing the restaurant name to glasses, which is actually next door. It's the perfect lunch to accompany your visit to the optician, or even while you're stealing a parking space when visiting the market across the street. Or in our case, having dinner with the girls, because after passing this place weekly for years, curiosity finally wore me down. On a Tuesday night we had our choice of seating. The square tables are cute with their pizza pictures, though we opted for a booth in the name of elbow room. Also napkin room because you are going to need them here. When we had walked in after gawking at the menu for what felt like way too long, because there are many enticing options, the patient guy behind the counter took our orders. At first I was baffled that he didn't take any money. That bafflement continued when they took our trash (and leftover generic fries) from the table without bringing back a check later. So for all you first timers like us you go to the counter to pay. And when you do, at least during football season, they are taking down names to potentially win free food. Which I probably don't need to convince me to return. This is the kind of place where you leave with both a full belly and wallet, and potentially leftovers. Three of us have gotten sandwiches with our fourth picking the probably smarter option of a wrap, keeping everything inside. They were all stuffed that I almost wondered if they were trying to clear out their fridge on us but the ingredients seemed freshly shredded so I doubt that's the case. It is great hoagie bread. Granted mine was a bit soft though I am attributing that to the fact that it was liberally slathered in sandwich oil. It did require me to wipe my hands after every bite, though in his defense I was offered a fork. I'll admit I used my fingers and half the stack of napkins, because it was well worth it. So next time I will probably 86 the oil in favor of keeping some semblance of my lady like demeanor. (That's right, I waited until I left my friends to burp in satisfaction, stuffed.) While the small is plenty, the quality and price makes it worth getting the larger size to take home for lunch tomorrow. Sure it may not be an incredibly handsome interior, or make for the perfect social media picture, but if you're coming solely to enjoy good people (super friendly staff) and good food then what does it really matter? The food here is delicious! I have recently had some very creative pizza and logs from here. Chicken pickle pizza? Yes please! Also tried their banana pepper pizza logs. They were incredible and I almost wish I didn't know about them so I couldn't crave them. Their crust is spot on, flavorful and just the right amount of thickness. I also had them cater an event where I required lunches for a two day seminar. Everything was meticulous, perfectly and thoughtfully packaged, and exactly as ordered. There were about 20-25 people per day and everyone was really happy with their food. Thank you for all of your hard work, great service and delicious food!!! read more

This place is a true relic for me. My grandmother brought all of her grandchildren here over 30 years ago and I still love stopping in occasionally to this day. The decor is very 70's which I find old-school charming. Service has always been friendly, I come for one thing and one thing only-ham subs. Nothing more, nothing less. This is it, this is the best Stinger sub in the world. I've been obsessed with Stingers for about 15 years. I've tried almost every sub place in WNY and they are the #1 Stinger. Crispy fingers, tender juicy steak, the right amount of cheese, fresh veggies, it's perfect. After a year and several subs they are consistently the best Stinger sub. Two tips, first get oil, their oil isn't normal oil it's amazing, have them put it on everything, buy a bottle. Next tip: ask about they're ice cream sandwiches, they will blow your mind. Ordered a couple of steak subs tonight and they weren't good at all. The steak was chewy and barely had any meat. I felt like I ate lettuce on a roll. Very tasteless and disappointing. We were both in the mood for steak subs and with some of the reviews saying it's the best steak sub they ever had, we decided to try but we won't be going back. Ordered a Turkey Sub, BBQ chicken wings and a calzone. All gross! The wings were burnt, the sub was aweful, the lettuce on it was old and wilted and the turkey tasted not so great and the calzon contained some kind of strange sauce! I will NOT be ordering from them again! read more

An assorted that was salad on a roll with a sliver of cheese along with a slice each of salami, ham, and capicola, it was pitiful. And the rest of the order was almost as bad. Oh where do I begin. My experience with Galassi's was horrible. My boyfriend and I tried Galassi's for the first time. I called to place an order for two subs, one ham and one turkey with bacon. The guy taking the order asked me if I wanted cheese, which I thought was a given, but I said yes, and then asked if I wanted oil and mayo. I said for the ham sub I wanted extra mayo. First impression looking at the sub, was that it looked sloppy and messy, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was, when my boyfriend took his first bite of his ham sub, he spit it right back out and said, "Ugh this is Miracle Whip on here!" My boyfriend despises Miracle Whip! He couldn't even eat his sub because of this, and threw it out. My turkey bacon sub also had Miracle Whip on it, and the bacon tasted funny. Not to mention the sub rolls were not toasted, and they were stale and chewy. I tried to call and complain that night, but they were closed. I had to wait until Monday to call, and finally got to speak to the owner Gail. I explained that the sub had Miracle Whip on it when we asked for mayo, and she cut me off and said, "It's not Miracle Whip, it's salad dressing". Apparently they don't even offer mayo as an option! I asked if they don't offer mayo, then why do they not tell their customers that when they call, seeing as how 90% of people don't like Miracle Whip? She kept correcting me and saying salad dressing, but it was the same as Miracle Whip. I didn't like the way she was speaking to me, like it was my fault for not knowing it would be "salad dressing". She was very condescending. She offered me a credit, so I accepted and figured I would try some of their other items and just not ever order subs again. So that Tuesday, I called and ordered two orders of goulash and a small pizza, figuring that would come to about the cost of the two sub credit I was supposed to get. I went and picked up the order later that evening. When I arrived, the woman at the counter when I said I had a credit said, "Oh yeah she told me to just charge for you the goulash". I looked on the menu and the pizza was about $8 and change, and the goulash were $6 each I believe. I said no, I was supposed to have a credit for two subs, which would be around $19. Long story short (I'm trying here lol) I had to wait 20 minutes for Gail to get back from wherever she was, and then she finally text the employee behind the counter and told him to tell me "Just take it". I wasn't looking for free food, I wanted what was fair, which was a credit for the right amount, so I ended up giving him $3 guesstimating that was how much I would owe after the credit. As I was putting the food in my car, Gail pulled in and stopped her car to talk to me. She said that she felt the credit for the $8 pizza was fair, seeing how her guys made the order "correctly" just not to our liking. I again stressed how we should have been told that they use Miracle Whip or "salad dressing", as I again got repeatedly corrected on in person, to which I said, it's the same damn thing Gail. I said if someone calls and they want mayo, the employees should say, "ok but just so you know, it's salad dressing, not real mayo, do you still want it?" How hard would that be?? She claims that no one has complained before, even though I've seen complaints regarding the "salad dressing" on other reviews. She was again very condescending with me, and looking at me like I was being foolish. She also mentioned more than once how long they have been in business. I don't care if it's 20 years or 5 months, the customer is "always right", and you don't treat them like shit when YOU make a mistake!! I'm not psychic and have no way of knowing as a first time customer that you use Miracle Whip instead of mayo. Also, why on earth would your employees ask if I wanted MAYO and oil on my sub, when it isn't mayo!? Ugh anyway, the goulash was also terrible, had a very bitter taste to it and the pizza was nothing special at all. I will never give them my business again, because their food is terrible and the way I was treated was also. read more
