Pizza stop #61 We ordered a small cheese and pepperoni with what they call "cup and char", weird. I know them as old-fashioned pepperoni or little pools of pepperoni grease. The pizza was good as the sauce was a little heavy but tasted fantastic. Also had chicken fingers (5) tossed in mild sauce. Always good. We had ranch not that garbage Bleu cheese. read more

Customer service at John and Marys is horrific. We have ordered from this place since we moved here several years ago. Mediocre place, not my favorite - wanted to order from Papas pizza but they do not open until 3. Anyways, they give us the wrong pizza. Okay, we call to let them know. The best they can do is have us return the pizza so they can remake OR half off our next order. So option 1 is return old pizza that was a mistake so we can wait and pay full price for the new one or pay full price for wrong order and have to patron them again to get half off next pizza ... lol what a joke...the right thing to do in my opinion would have been to discount or comp the wrong order .The owner did not find that as a reasonable resolution as she quoted" it may not have been what you ordered exactly , but your bellys will be full". By the way no sorry at all either for the inconvenience. The girl who took our order argued that we ordered the wrong pizza- no accountability. Like we have nothing better to do with our time than to make up lies... my husband and I just fed our kids the pizza as they were hungry for lunch and excited for pizza. If it wasn't for that factor I would just drove back and asked for a refund. We will not patron this business and will be supporting other local pizza businesses in the area. read more

I don't come here often but when I do I usually order the chicken finger dinner... the food is not the reason why I decided to write this review, as it is pretty basic. The past couple of times I got food from this restaurant I had the pleasure to interact with a wonderful young lady, Brittany, who took my order over the phone, cashed me out and gave me my food when it was ready. Something has definitely changed recently. I asked who made ours and was told it was "Elijah." This man must be employing dark magic to accomplish whatever we just experienced. I was unimpressed by the food here and also by the service. I think the guy working there had a cold and was in a pretty bad mood when he served me. It's nowhere near me so I wouldn't go back anyway, although service is never a reason I stop going somewhere. But it seems like a popular little place out in the middle of nowhere that is bringing joy to the community, so more power to them. I got a sub, some wings, and some pizza slices, and none of it was memorable or impressive. Pretty standard fare, and the pizza was particularly disappointing. Most of the time, I'm very please with the food that we get from here. Yesterday was an exception. I had ordered a whole chicken, mushroom and onion hoagie. I also ordered an additional half hoagie of the same. The whole hoagie was beautiful; plenty of chicken, and TONS of onions and mushrooms piled high. The half hoagie was a disgrace. Four or five 1" cubes of grilled chicken, with about 6 mushroom slices and a small bit of onions. The contents were completely hidden deep inside the roll. When I opened it to look at it, I was truly disappointed. Next time, PLEASE don't be so skimpy with the toppings!!! You're making more money on that half hoagie than on a whole one. This used to be my go to when I got out of work and wanted to having something quick for dinner. The amount of mistakes that has happened in the past few visits is enough for me to go somewhere else. I've had people mess up my food before but never a completely raw pizza. And everything they make is completely not what was ordered. I understand there is new management so I was patient and nice about it. It's a shame what's happened at this location and all of their old staff that had taken care of this town for years has left because of it. :( read more

John and Mary's has been at this location for as long as I can remember and the food has always been very good. In addition to subs, Pizza, chicken fingers and wings and other food items they also have ice cream which I haven't had in awhile but looks good when others order it. It's a great choice for lunch or a quick dinner. read more

Some of the John and Mary's have kept up their excellent tasting and prepared food and some not so much. This is one of the good ones.
