Wanted to go shopping for toys and found this place on Yelp. Being right across the street from Costco made it convenient to go. Coming here for the first time made it hard to find because they are located in the backside of the building and signs are only on one side of Beacon. They only have a couple parking spaces so need to park at another business because there is no parking around there at all. After finally seeing the sign while coming back in the other direction, I go in. The store is fairly big for an adult store. The store is loaded with Asian porn. They had the new Lelo products which is great But they lacked FunFactory ones :( I believe they only had 4 products I guess because Funfactory's gonna be a pain in the butt for expensive inventory but I was looking for Smart-Balls to give it to a friend so I won't have to commute all the the way to the city and shop in Good Vibes. I live in Millbrae yo. They had an alternative -it was 18 bucks but I didn't really trust buying it because it had some ridges and thought that wouldn't work fine if they were to be worn the whole day. I mean they had a variety of sex toys, but I just wished they had wider/bigger inventory. But due to the Great Recession, I doubt that'll happen. I really like the shower tools though. They had this handle thing that you can stick on the wall of the shower for standing-up sex, and knee pads for guys when they're on their knees, oh ya and a vibrating sponge and hand/legg cuffs you can stick on a bath tub. Prices were all reasonable as well The place was quiet though, and secluded which is awesome so kids wouldn't bop in it. Gotta love California, I now have had two equally satisfyingly simple encounters at two different types of businesses. One can go can to a dispensary or to an adult store and get the same high level of customer service. I came in today looking for a specialty item. They didn't have what I was looking for, which is fine. But the clerk was very helpful with helping me locate another shop. In my initial review of the Galleri, I gave the adult boutique a reasonable three stars. However, I'm overdue for an update and a revised rating. On my last visit, I felt the store was a little messy, especially the toy section. Well, I made another visit during Alexis Texas' in store appearance and the store was spotless. Every section of the boutique was nicely organized and stocked. There was no dust on any items or toys, as it should be! Granted, the store was in its best shape because Alexis Texas was doing an appearance, but nevertheless. I showed up during the first hour and Alexis was a little late, but people didn't seem to mind. The store was well staffed and had music going and had Elegant Angel DVDs on sale, as they were sponsors of the event. There were two options for photo ops with Alexis, a professional DSLR option or a Polaroid. The DSLR was $20 for three poses or $10 or $15 for the Polaroid. I believe the DSLR pictures would be mailed to you within a few days. It's nice to see an adult store doing things right..and legally! Most of the seedy shops in the city are pretty useless, stocking cheap toys and bootleg DVDs. Fortunately, they're closing them left and right as they should be. read more

the best adult store I've ever been to! It had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. They just updated their toys and novelty section and have an even greater selection to choose from. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I didn't feel awkward at all because they were joking around with me and making me feel so comfortable. They also have a great selection of music to listen to while you browse and shop a large bargain selection with premium titles. I left the store with a vibrator and a tera patrick dvd. The nicest (and largest) shop with the best selection out of the 4 different stores I've been to in the bay. DVD selection and quality are top notch (you'll have no trouble finding titles and stars you've heard of). The Asian selection is great (larger selection than a shop in Japantown, but slightly more expensive as well), if that's your thing, and there's a few hentai titles (though they could use more IMO). Even the bargain bin titles are organized and grouped together so you can find what you're looking for. DVDs are slightly pricier than some of the cheap shops, but you get what you pay for; I bought about 15 DVDs and none of them were the wrong title when I opened them or unplayable, a common problem with cheap stores (e.g. this happened to me 2/3 times I went to Secrets). The toy selection is also pretty great (and includes top-tier items). There's various Fleshlights (the actual brand) and vibrators and such, as well as a few dolls. I didn't see a lingerie section (if it existed at all). The magazine selection takes up a small wall, and seems to include mostly current issues. There's a handful of import Asian magazines as well. The staff seems really awesome and has no problem helping you find things or answering questions, though I only interacted with an older gentleman behind the counter.
