One of the worst nail jobs I've ever gotten. Girl was really nice and customer service was good so I still left a tip but the paint job was terrible and she put the nails on slanted and they were all filed differently. She put 3 nails on crooked so I told her she could just file them oval to shape then evenly. I even said NOT pointy. Instead she cut them super pointy and literally did what she wanted. And then it ended up costing 35$ when originally she said 25$.... I didn't even get gel polish so I was extremely confused and was too irritated to fight it. I just won't be going back. UPDATE- And one day later my nail popped off. Either from them using cheap nail powder or the fact half the nails she put on me were too small. read more

Two things to note. One. This salon is under new ownership. Two. I followed my stylist, Krista, here and have been going to her for several years now. Krista always gets five stars from me. She has always done my hair exactly as I wanted it done. I have moved around a lot, but I grew up in Corona so I always come back (now my family and I live here once more). I say that because I've been to many salons looking for that stylist who will put your vision to life. From Italy (truth) to San Antonio, to San Diego, to Pittsburgh and back to Corona... nobody has done as great of a job as she has. And at such a reasonable price! I usually get some sort of cut, toner, and partial or full highlights. I haven't had a mani or pedi here yet but I thought it important to share that you won't find spa massage chairs at this location. You'll find a quality mani/pedi experience though without the discomfort of being talked about in a foreign language (although I like to pretend that doesn't actually happen). It's really too bad the reviews aren't better on this salon, but I think if you give Krista a try for your hair, or even call her and ask for her recommendation on a manicurist, you will find that the salon deserves better reviews. read more

I have been going to Lisa for nails for -holy cow-over 10 years-maybe more.....and WHAT a job she does---well DUH - the length of time I have been going there is pretty self evident. Lisa,is also an Italian gal sitting among a sea of Vietnamese . Boy do I love being able to hold a conversation with her.....no offense, but I don't like having another language spoken "around" me while a service is being performed....always makes you "wonder" This is a shop owned by a Vietnamese woman, Van, who also does hair and nails. I let her do each ONCE---OH DEAR never again, was a total chop job. ..she owns the place but no no no....I go elsewhere for hair ...The one time she did my nails she was grinding away with the emery board, looking all over the place, at anything but MY HAND. There was two employees, two people getting there hair done. Maybe I didn't get it but they close at 7, so they really didn't have time to tend another customer? read more

I have tried coming here 3x each time the owner tells me, no availability. 1. There is a worker sitting down reading a magazine. I just walked out asking for an appt. For microdermabrasion she says they are all booked. And did not try to give me other availablailities during the week or try to accommodate. Bad costumer service skills. read more

I have been going to Van for 22 years. I moved from the Jurupa neighborhood 14 years ago and still make the drive to see her. She has cut my hair and all of my children. She gave my oldest daughter her first hair cut 19 years ago and my two other daughters since then. She is warm, friendly, and has a great heart for others and her family. I would recommend her to everyone. read more

I am extremely picky and particular when it come to nails, I usually get a full set white tip but this time I got gel color black, I had a lady named Van and she was very sweet and was very careful not to hurt me. However I do like my excess skin and cuticle to be cut and that did not happen. However later on I mentioned the hanging skin I get and she gladly took care of it. I am very rough on my nails and do not have the necessary tools to take care of them so it is just something I like at nail salons. She talked to me the whole time and I found out that she is putting both of her kids through college. Other then that she listened to my other request and did a okay job, the paint job could have been a tad bit better but they look nice. I am not particular when it comes to how extreme the hygiene is but they do not where gloves if that is a problem for you. It cost me $35 for a full set with gel color. I don't think I will be coming back though read more

I agree, Lisa the person to do your nails, but as far as HAIR. Van. Is the person!!!!! She does a GREAT job and I actually plan my hair cuts so VAN can cut it as I move out of the area. And wish I could of taken her with me. She has been cutting our hair for over 15 yrs!!!!!! read more

Terrible service, nail lady did a terrible job on my daughters nails,will never go again

usually i have my wife cut my hair at home with a clipper we bought at the store. the clipper broke and i hadn't have time to pick up a new one so i decided to swing by here one day after going to the 24hr fitness gym. i havent had a haircut from a salon/barber shop for the longest time but after going here, i think im going start going again. this little asian lady named Van did my hair. she did an excellent job and the shampoo/conditioner part was my favorite.... especially after working out. would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! read more

Correction, that's negative 1 star but for some reason yelp thinks ppl deserve atleast 1 star even if they have the shittiest service. The absolute worst nail job I've ever had. Lilly, the white girl doin nails, is a sweetheart... but her work sucks ass. I got a coffin shaped full set. One, she clearly doesn't know how to do the coffin shape. Not one nail matches the next. That's first of all. Second, both thumbs broke within an hour of getting em done, and that was just while I was changing my clothes. Third, polish was still pretty wet when I went back an hour later to get the thumbs fixed, because she didn't allow any dry time between coats of polish, so I took all the polish off and planned to repaint them myself. Fourth, here we are only 3 DAYS, yes DAYS, later and 4 of the 10 nails have come off. So I took them all off cuz I don't care how sweet she was, there's no way I was going back to her to let her attempt to "fix" them again. And all 10 nails came off without any pain what so ever(which isn't normal. There should be lots of pain when removing acrylics) because she didn't rough up my original nail bed so the powder could bond to my natural nail. And to top it all off, the full set was $35(already too much) and I gave a $5 tip trying to be nice and show respect to an American trying to break into an Asian dominated field. Stupid idea. The worst nail job ever. I will never allow another american to touch my nails. Oooh and lets not forget they had one brush to scrub your nails with that wasn't in barbasol or any kind of disinfecting agent. Never again. read more
